Welcome to Apache Cabin, a wonderfully peaceful and cozy getaway in the White Mountains. Enjoy Rim country at 6500ft up on the Mogollon Rim. Surround yourself with pine trees and relax in the quiet yard enjoying 2 decks (front and rear) and fire pit in the yard. Inside you'll find 2BR/1BA with washer/dryer and wall mount furnace for heat.

Several local lakes to fish/float/paddle.

Close to restaurants, shops, food markets, and county park.

Many nearby offroad trails for UTV/ATV/Hiking/Biking.

The space:
Cozy and rusticly appointed featuring pine board accent walls, exposed beam ceilings, live-edge wood slab countertops, and hardwood floors. Tankless hot water heater for hot water on demand. Plus, robust and dependable high-speed internet and WiFi for streaming.

The Main Bedroom offers Queen size bed, small dresser, closet, and wall mounted fan.

The Guest Bedroom offers Full size bed, closet, and wall mounted fan.

The Living/Dining Area has a sectional sofa and chair to relax. Stream your favorite shows on 42" Roku TV. Assortment of Games/Books/Puzzles provided for your enjoyment. Small round dining table to eat, play, or work.

The Kitchen is fully stocked with coffee maker, kettle, pots/pans/utensils/dishware/drinkware, oven/range, fridge with water & ice dispenser, as well as a stackable washer/dryer unit. **NOTE: there is no microwave. Heating food can be done via stovetop/oven**

The Yard is spacious 1/3 acre with tall ponderosa pines and pinyon trees. Empty lot across the street and large empty natural lot behind provides woodsy and campy feel with added privacy. Two decks for your enjoyment, a covered front porch/deck and a rear deck. The rear deck has a 4-burner grill and outdoor dining table and bench seating. Plug in the string lights for a perfect evening glow to complement the solar lanterns in the yard and trees. Enjoy a fire in the fire pit (**Be sure to check on no-burn restrictions**) and relax in plastic Adirondack chairs.

My wife, Samantha, and I live in Phoenix, AZ. We have 2 young daughters. We purchased the cabin several years ago as a vacation home to beat the summer heat and to enjoy some winter snow. After completing some upgrades we decided to check out the short term rental market to let others enjoy. We love hosting and we strive to provide a great and memorable experience for every guest. We fell in love with the White Mountains and we're happy to provide an opportunity for others to explore and enjoy all that the area has to offer!

Why they chose this property

The area and neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The neighbors are very friendly. We love how the tall pine trees whistle in the wind. The yard is spacious and great for kids to play. The empty treed lot behind us provides extra privacy. The star gazing at night is truly remarkable.

What makes this property unique

We love the rustic woodsy feel of the cabin. The interior is updated with lots of natural wood, including tongue & groove board accent walls and ceiling, live-edge wood slab countertops and window trim, and exposed wood beam ceilings. The covered front deck/porch is perfect for morning coffee, and the rear deck is great for grilling and chilling out back.
