Best location in Jan Thiel

Absolutely perfect is the best way to decribe our stay at this condo. 2 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen, bar area, big dinning table, super comfortable beds and furniture, 2 balconies, awesome views. Elevator to nice grounds leading to the pool or the beach. Parking right in front. The location is within walking distance to many attractions or a quick drive to Williamstead. Caring host was a pleasure ti deal wuth. We plan on returning. You wont be dissapointed ! RnR Canada

Palapa Beach Resort 2024

The property was nice and quiet. The beach out back was good for snorkeling and several beaches really close that are also good for snorkeling. Tugboat beach was our favorite and just right down the street. The electricity provided was not enough, we were very careful with using the A/C and still had to pay more at the end of the week, I would take off 1/2 star for that, if I had that option, but it wasn't enough to take off a whole star. Around $80 USD extra is what we had to pay. Do not go to Van Den Tweel Supermarket, it is about twice the price of Mangusa Hypermarket, if you love dogs as we do, get a bag of dog food to carry in your trunk while there, there are lots of stray dogs and they just want something to eat and all seemed very friendly. If you are planning a trip to Klein Curacao, Mermaid Boat tours is within walking distance about 5 minutes or less. Pasawa Box Eatery was our favorite restaurant, you do need to drive, but they have a lot of choices of food at good prices. We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely go back keeping in mind that we would have to pay additional electricity at the end of our stay.

Our favorite local spots for a quick bite and cold drink waterside are Brisa Del Mar---Pop's Place, and The Pier. They are both within a short walk along the beautiful beach. Several local scuba, jetski and boat rental businesses nearby.

What makes this property unique

Gorgeous, peaceful and relaxing. This is our home away from home. Many places boast about being "near the beach". At our Palapa Beach Paradise, you will have beautiful, secluded beach access a few meters away from your door! Perfect location for scuba, snorkeling or relaxing on the beach. We hope you love our place as much as we do!
