Casa Corolla is a beautiful vacation home nestled in the quiet Magnolia Bay section of The Currituck Club. This soundside home has everything you need for that great vacation on the Outer Banks. Free High-speed wireless internet, flat-screen TVs and a large private pool and hot tub in the back deck area. Amenities galore in this affordable vacation home. Perfect golf getaway summer, spring or fall!

Amenities include a 14' x 32' private pool, community pools, golf discounts, hot tub (available mid May through October), Jacuzzi tub in master, 4 HDTV TVs, 2 DVD players, stereo w/CD, high-speed wireless Internet access, high chair, Keurig, outside shower, charcoal grill. High Definition Channels! Parking for 3-4 cars. No smoking permitted. Pets are not allowed.

While staying at Casa Corolla, you have direct access to all of the amenities of The Currituck Club including golf, tennis, fitness club, basketball, volleyball, bocce ball, community pools and parties, and miles of biking and walking paths. Additionally, guests here receive discounted golf greens fee prices as well as the ability to book tee times up to one year in advance. The beach is just a short walk or you can take the complimentary trolley. All trolleys run from Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Other nearby attractions include dining, shopping, 4 x 4 beach and wild horse area, the Currituck Lighthouse and more. Make this your destination for a truly memorable vacation.

The house was nicely updated and very clean. The neighborhood felt very safe. The trolley stop for the beach was very close. There were lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. The pool was nice, but the water temperature was quite brisk during our stay. The hot tub was great. Overall I would highly recommend.

The only complaint would be the pool was dirty everyday from the leaves. The company who takes care of the pool does a poor job. All an all a great vacation!!!

The house is perfect for a family of 6 especially with adult children. We were surprised by the benefits of being in the Currituck club, that was added benefit. The house was clean and and up to date. My only suggestions would be new carpeting and the outside is in need of a really good power washing. The keurig leaks water. Other than that , it was a great first experience to the outer banks. Everyone is very friendly and super nice, despite being very clearly understaffed and overwhelmed due to COVID. The island seems very busy, not sure if this is a normal summer. We arrived and left super early to successfully beat the island bridge traffic. Wish we would’ve had room for golf clubs.

A Wonderful Vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my families first trip ever to the beach, and it was absolutely fantastic. The location of Currituck Carl’s was perfect for us – very easy to drive to the beach or use the trolley, and an excellent location for shopping, coffee shops, ice cream, restaurants and groceries. Currituck Club was very easy to navigate around, and I appreciated the gated community. The house was an excellent choice for us – the layout with four teenagers was great, everyone was able to have their own space as needed, and come together for family time. My beloved and I were able to start our day on the deck with coffee – you can just see the Sound over the trees. The pool and hot tub were very good – the shade around the pool was especially appreciated by the fair red heads in our group! I was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was, as we did the majority of the cooking in the home, and it was very nice to have so many utensils and such – having both a Keurig and a drip pot, plus the ability to use a Crock Pot or a blender was great! The coffee table was just the right size for a puzzle, and we did enjoy the movie selection in the home. We had no major issues come up during our stay, the pool and hot tub did not appear to be serviced while we were there, and there was conflicting information about what days trash and recycling pick up were, but really not a big deal. The house itself was very clean and very well maintained, a few nicks and bumps here and there, but nothing crazy. Just a very dear sweet house that was an amazing backdrop for the fabulous memories we made. We definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again someday.

Reviewer Comments: The house was in a great location and was the right size for our family. The furniture was appropriate and the kitchen was well stocked for our needs. However, when we arrived at the rental office at 3pm, the agent said that the house appeared not ready. I explained that we had paid extra for early check in and I did not understand why it was not ready. Then she asked if maybe someone else had picked up the keys. I said no I was the only one that could pick up the keys. Eventually she figured out that the house was in fact ready and gave us the keys, directions, etc. This was stressful as I have a special needs child that needed to be fed at a specific time which is why we paid the check in early fee. We eventually made it to the house and upson arrival everything seemed ok. After we were there for a day, we found hard candy on the floor, a fish hook in the walk way in the living room, LOTS of fishing line all over the living room floor, dishes that had food all over them, and the pool area was littered with leaves and dirt. We were finally able to get into the hot tub on Friday but there was so much chlorine in it that it burned our eyes so we could not enjoy it.(the tag on the hot tub said that it was serviced on Tuesday) The pool was never rechecked during the week and became quite dirty. We cleaned up as best we could to keep our little one safe. I have rented from this company on many occasions and this is the first time that I have encountered anything like this. The house was great, but cleaning was terrible!

I attached photos to show just a few of our issues.- The grill was unusable and dirty. Nothing to clean in with.- Pool toys just throw all over the inside of the garage. Dirty and horrible smell.- Dishwasher filter was full of soap scum. Had to scrub to use it. - Dirt and mold in washer.- Dryer door does not close and was full of lint.- Mop moldy and dirty smelled awful.- Dyson vacuum was completely full of debris. Has to empty and then still did not work.- No broom at all.- Hot tub would not work until someone came to fix.- Upper patio completely caked in sand.- Pool patio very dirty. Cup, toys, and melted water balloons in concrete.- Bedding was dirty and caked in sand. Had to strip all beds and rewash.- ***Wrong gate code was given. Stuck at the gate at 10:45 pm called emergency line. Took 3 calls for someone to answer. They were very rude then hung up on us. Then someone called back to tell us we had to drive around the other side for another mile because this house “doesn’t have a code” and he has been asking for one for years. (This was with 2 toddlers waiting in the car ). The following day we were sent yet ANOTHER code that was completely different from what was given to us, that worked on both gates. No apology.***Should not have to deep clean the entire house before staying in it with the cost.

We're very sorry for you to have found the home in this condition. Clearly there was some sort of mixup with the cleaning schedule. Other than the hot tub and the gate code, it does snot look like you reported these issues to us. We would have liked to send someone to take care of them right away. I feel your frustration about the gate codes, they are managed by the community of Currituck Club and we have no control over them, guests can always use the north gate where a guard is stationed. We're happy we were able to get the hot tub working for you so quickly. Hope you'll give us another chance, I think you'll be delighted!

We had a terrific time! The updates to the house were very nice. The trees need trimmed over the pool to allow more sun, but the pool and hot tub were very nice! Definitely worth staying here!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very clean, cute house. Our stay was very nice, I did have a few issues, which were promptly taken care off. I realize it is the South and bugs are to be expected. But before each rental, property maintenance needs to go the the house and clean up all the spider webs that are in the front and back entrance ways ceiling. The trees surrounding the pool needs to be trimmed. I understand that may a Shade Tree issue and the town needs to grant the property owners permission to trip a lot of the trees surrounding the pool. I spoke to the realty about the issue and it was addressed immediately. On the whole I would recommend this place, just deal with the issues listed.

We had no issues with the house the entire time we were there. If I could suggest one improvement that would be to trim the trees around the pool in the afternoon there is way to much shade around the pool, for sun lovers. Great location to the beach and the realty co was the best.

Unfortunately, that was overshadowed by the dirty condition of the interior. The property seemed as if it hadn't been cleaned for some time. The walls were dirty and there were dead bugs all over them. There were dead bugs all over every door and windows. The outside furniture was filthy. The whole thing needed to be pressure-washed. It did look as though some effort had been made to start to redecorate, but the dirty carpet and furniture were very off-putting.Both drains in the master bath were backed up. There was an ant problem in the kitchen. Honestly the list just goes on and on.This was our first time staying in this house and with this realtor. If this is the standard then both the realtor and the owner work toward then never again.

The house wasn’t very clean it had dead bugs in the carpets by the molding and cob webs with bugs on the ceilings. The pool was dirty on arrival and they don’t provide a vacuum so we were only able to skim the top. The oven broke the first night we were there making loud beeping noises. Thankfully they came and fixed that within a few days! We enjoyed the club and the trolley to the beach and the hot tub was nice! The beds were Very comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked!

It was a great property. But the sliding door leading to the upstairs deck was awful. It sticks badly and is old. Also there were so many spiders on the ceilings. Just daddy long legs so we weren’t scared but it made the house look dirty. The downstairs also smells of mildew and mold. Some damp rid would really help with that.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were very excited and had high expectations but fell short due to the lack of customer service. We had issues with maintenance never showing up to change lightbulbs that were burnt out, Wireless internet connection never really worked eveb though it said we were online, and lastly the pool/hottub is dirty due to poor motivation from the pool company and they said issue was cosmetic and because of the trees. Meanwhile the neighboring houses have clear as day pools/hottubs next to us from different rental companies. The garage had a smell and there was paint cans in the closet and a nirror laying in a closet that could be a safety issue if it fell on a child. Other unkept cosmetic items are they don't vacuum the hottub enough so its covered with sand and there are leaves everywhere. The rental company never followed up with the complaints. When you spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on a vacation rental you expect more. Disappointing.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback regarding your stay at Currituck Carl's. We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your stay. Regarding response to services - we attempted to contact you back to schedule a time for maintenance to address your concerns. Due to the current pandemic we try to schedule times for our maintenance staff to go out to the home when there will be no one present for the safety of not only our staff but also our guests. Unfortunately we did not hear back from you during your stay and therefore these items were addressed upon turnover day.
