We Will Be Back

  • 5 of 5

We loved the house and location. Saying that the house was in order, well stocked with kitchen supplies including spices and super clean would be an under statement. We had to make one minor request on day one and it was immediately taken care of. We will be back.

Our visit was too brief!

  • 5 of 5

My family of four really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable, well-appointed home. We played all day in Olympic National Park then had relaxing evenings in this thoughtfully-renovated home with a lovely back porch. We were so grateful to have a kitchen that had all the right tools for cooking, and the grill is top-notch. Enjoyed being able to go downtown on foot. Had fun trying to puzzle out the inscrutable activity of the boats in the harbor. Karen, Dan, Maxene, Julie were considerate and responsive. Very, very nice stay.

Fans from Kentucky!

Fabulous house with great views

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at Harbour House in late July for 5 nights. The house is very comfortable & beautifully decorated. There are 3 bedrooms & 3 full baths, which gives everyone plenty of room. The kitchen is well stocked. The porch is a great place to relax & watch the sun set. The house is in a great location. We toured lavender farms, went to Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake, whale watching boat tour & took the ferry to Victoria for a day. There are lots of maps, books, etc in the house to help you decide what to to. Dan recommended Crescent Lake & it was beautiful.

Spectacular views, excellent location, beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

We recently spent five nights at the Harbour House and loved every moment! The well-appointed house has a great layout, lovely beach decor, super comfortable beds and strong wifi. Stunning views of the Strait can be enjoyed from both the first and second floors. We all had fun looking through the telescope at the water traffic below. One of my personal favorite spots was the little sitting room upstairs where I nestled in for my early morning coffee each day.

Although we could have easily spent our entire vacation just enjoying the Harbour House and its views, one of the main reasons we chose this property was its proximity to the Olympic National Park as well as being within walking distance to the ferry. We took advantage of both and filled each day with amazing adventures: Lake Crescent, Merrymere Falls, Lower Elwah River, Cape Flattery, Hoh Rainforest, Hurricane Ridge and a day trip to Victoria. Add to that the best view of July 4th fireworks we've ever had and it was above and beyond five stars!

Thank you, Karen and Dan for sharing this special place. Your warm welcome and great suggestions made us feel right at home! We hope to return again soon!

Breath taking views of the Strait and the mountains

  • 5 of 5

We spent hours hours watching ships and pilot boats on the Strait. Ideal location for exploring Olympic national park. The home is beautifully restored and decorated in quaint beach decor. Beautiful landscaping. Great access to running/biking paved trail.

Excellent location and wonderful house

  • 5 of 5

Karen was super easy to work with. House was exactly as described. One bedroom on the first floor with two twin beds. The washer and dryer were located in that bedroom. Super fast washer and dryer! Upstairs were two beautiful decorated bedrooms with private baths and comfy beds. Karen met us and gave us a quick tour and made sure we were all set. She was a phone call away for our whole stay. We had to call once for a quick repair and she sent someone within 15 minutes and all was well. Great location! We walked about 10 -15 minutes to the ferry to Victoria and another day we walked to the whale watching excursion (Island Adventures) which is in the same location. Saved us on paying to park the car. Shops and restaurants are also in the same location. It is a hill but very manageable. Overall would not hesitate to stay at this house again. Great house and great location!
