About this property

Pine & Ember | 30 Min to Yellowstone + AC

YELLOWSTONE BY DAY. PINE & EMBER BY NIGHT.

Yellowstone is the draw. Pine & Ember is the exhale. Just 30 minutes from the West Entrance, this cozy Island Park cabin sleeps 6 with a king bedroom, a second bedroom with two queens, AC, a fireplace, game room, smoker BBQ, fire pit, and nearby ATV and snowmobile access. Spend your days exploring Yellowstone, riding trails, or fishing nearby, then come home to the pines and a slower pace. Stay 5+ nights and enjoy a complimentary 60-minute in-home massage, subject to availability.

Just about 30 minutes from Yellowstone’s West Entrance, Pine & Ember is a quiet cabin in the trees made for the part of the trip that happens after the adventure.

The early coffee before a day in the park.
The shoes kicked off by the door when you get home.
Dinner smoking outside while the sun drops through the pines.
A fire after dark.
A movie downstairs when everyone is finally tired.

It’s comfortable, unfussy, and tucked far enough into Island Park to feel like you’ve actually gotten away.

YOUR YELLOWSTONE BASECAMP

Yellowstone is close enough to make an early start easy — and Pine & Ember gives you somewhere peaceful to come back to when you’ve had your fill of crowds and sightseeing.

Spend the day looking for bison and elk, wandering the boardwalks around geysers and hot springs, chasing waterfalls, or driving farther into the park just to see what you find.

Then leave West Yellowstone behind and head home to the trees.

No hotel hallways. No shared lobby. No fighting for a restaurant table.

Just your own cabin, dinner on your schedule, and a quiet Island Park night ahead.

INSIDE

Pine & Ember sleeps up to six guests across two bedrooms.

The primary bedroom has a king bed. The second has two queen beds, giving couples, families, or a small group of friends an unusually comfortable sleeping setup for a two-bedroom cabin.

The main spaces are warm and easy to settle into, with a propane fireplace stove for cool evenings and air conditioning for warm summer afternoons.

Downstairs, a large sectional creates a second place to disappear for a while — put on a movie, pull out a game, or give everyone a little room to spread out after a long day together.

OUTSIDE IS WHERE THIS PLACE MAKES SENSE

Pine & Ember sits among the trees, and we think evenings are best spent out there.

Fire up the smoker BBQ and let dinner take its time. Pull a chair up to the fire pit. Stay outside after the sun goes down and see just how dark an Idaho sky can get.

There’s nothing elaborate about it.

That’s the point.

After a day full of Yellowstone, sometimes a fire, good food, and nowhere else to be is exactly what you want.

Fire pit use is subject to local fire restrictions.

BRING THE TOYS

Yellowstone may be the headline, but Island Park has plenty of adventure of its own.

ATV and snowmobile routes are accessible nearby, making Pine & Ember a great home base for guests who come here to ride as much as they come to see the park.

Summer brings miles of forest roads and trails.

Winter turns the area into snowmobile country.

Please note that the driveway is steep. 4WD/AWD is strongly recommended during winter, and we suggest parking larger trailers and recreational equipment at the nearby gas station rather than bringing them up the driveway.

A RARE LITTLE EXTRA

Stay five nights or longer and we’ll add something you probably weren’t expecting from your Island Park cabin:

One complimentary 60-minute in-home massage.

Spend the morning hiking Yellowstone and the afternoon getting a massage without leaving the cabin.

Not a bad trade.

The massage is subject to therapist availability, so please reach out in advance if you’d like us to check availability during your stay.

MORE THAN YELLOWSTONE

If you have an extra day, use it.

Fish the Henry’s Fork. Take the ATVs out. Explore Island Park. Find a trail. Come in winter and ride through snow-covered forests.

Or stay right here.

Sleep late. Cook breakfast. Read on the deck. Let dinner smoke for a few hours. Build a fire and do absolutely nothing productive.

Yellowstone gives you plenty to see.

Pine & Ember gives you somewhere worth coming home to.

GOOD TO KNOW
