Conveniently located property, with a view, about a 15-20 minute walk from the Zocalo. Neighborhood includes a fabulous restaurant, Humito Cocina, which is maybe 2-3 minute walk from the apartment and features breakfast, dinner, and music in the evening several nights during the week. The walk from Centro back to the apartment is a bit up hill, but that serves to provide a beautiful evening view. The street in front was under repair during our stay, so we didn't bother with taxis. We easily walked all of Centro and several of the surrounding neighborhoods from our location. Fitness tracking reports that we walked nearly 45 miles during our 6 night stay. I loved the location and really enjoyed the independence of staying in an apartment and the feel of the local neighborhood. My spouse would perhaps have preferred more centrally located accommodations, particularly for evenings out. But we had no experience that caused any concern. And we really enjoyed getting to know Oaxaca.

We had an amazing time here! The apartment is very close to food and shops and museums. Being set back from the street a little means you’re close to all the action of Oaxaca center at night but can still get good sleep without too much noise. The apartment was very clean and suited our needs perfectly!

I absolutely loved my stay! As soon as I walked in i was very pleased. Check in was fast and easy. The place was very clean and had everything I needed including coffee. The bed was comfortable. The room temperature was great as well. The neighborhood was very safe with a very l nice garden down the street where you will see lots of activities. During the day I walked everywhere and back. But at night I always took a cab back. The only con was the wifi was slow. Luckily there are great places to work out of near by. Regardless of that. I would comeback here again and again.
