We really enjoyed the room. It was perfect for my husband and me, our 5 yo, and grandma. The indoor pool and hot tub were a hit. Check-in was an utter mess though. We never received a message with check-in instructions. We just knew the address, room number and that we couldn’t check in until after 4pm. We also received a text on arrival day giving us a code to our room. So, we were surprised when we showed up at 5pm and the building was locked and management office closed. The code we’d been texted didn’t work on the building door or after-hours lock box we found. Fortunately, there was an after-hours phone in the vestibule, and after 40 minutes and being transferred to three different employees, we were finally given the code for the main door and a code for our room…which was different than the one we’d been texted earlier. Once in the room, there was nothing telling us the WiFi name and password. Management did not respond to my text asking for it. Fortunately, VRBO customer service was able to provide it. The next day, management was quick to send someone to repair the non-functioning stove and toilet. We asked if we could have late check-out on the final day after all the hassle we’d experienced, and management readily agreed. However, there was some sort of miscommunication with the staff and we got charged another night’s stay. When I brought it to management’s attention, they apologized and processed a refund of the extra day, but still, it was more hassle.
