Beautiful, big...a little hot

  • 4 of 5

The house is beautiful. Plenty of space for our party of 10 + a baby. Great views from porches.

Two complaints:

1) it wasn’t explicitly explained in details or reviews that there is ZERO air conditioning. For most all days in Tahoe this is not a big deal, but for our week in the middle of July the house temp rose to 80-85deg between the hours of 4-830pm. I hear that “no house AC” is sort of standard for Tahoe so this may be the industry’s standard.

2) the refrigerator needs to

Be replaced or serviced. It stays at around 50deg regardless of temp set and some of our food was spoiling faster than it should.

That said, the management company was VERY accommodating and brought us multiple fans on the first night. They were always prompt in answering questions.

I would definitely stay at this house again, and would recommend it to others as well.

Fabulous home for a getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed 3 nights and loved every minute. The home is exquistely furnished and the furnishings are interesting, not standard boring stuff. The beds in the kids bunk room are so cozy and the master bedroom is beautiful. We build a snow run behind the house for sledding and my son even built a ski run off of it!

Love the radiant heat. Plenty of tools in the kitchen Would definitely recommend it!

My family had a wonderful stay at Broken Arrow Lodge in Squaw Valley. It is a gorgeous home and we had plenty of room for our party of 9. Convenient location and beautiful surroundings. The managers were great!

Exceptional home, beautiful and lots of room

  • 5 of 5

Our stay at this beautiful property made our vacation perfect. Its very large and spacious. The interior designer did an excellent job. We got a large amount of snow that weekend which made it even more fantastic. A great weekend and would stay there again.

Really enjoyable.

  • 5 of 5

The house suited our needs perfectly. Being 2 families with young children, the house managed to accomodate all our requirements. Big enough for all of us, but not so big that you get lost. Located so close to the Squaw Resort and the village meant being able to be skiing early in the morning if fresh snow arrived overnight. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone with a large group.
