Located in Albertville, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Lake Guntersville State Park and Eagle's Nest Golf Course are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Buck's Pocket State Park and Guntersville Lake. Traveling with kids? Consider Guntersville Museum and Cultural Center, or check out an event or a game at Guntersville Tennis Center.
The cabin was very nice, and Kendall was very responsive. We had one issue getting the remote to connect to the tv, which was resolved quickly. Very clean, nice cabin. Would highly recommend.
I planned a two night trip with my Husband and our 8 year old daughter for Valentine's Day. It was clean and very cozy. Plenty to do there and my daughter loved the bounce houses and the arcades. Great for a last minute getaway with the kids. Owner was very informative and nice. I highly recommend this place and owner to anyone. Such a gorgeous property. We will be coming back again. Thank you.

We enjoyed hosting you! Thank you so much for your kind words!
My wife and I stayed at this cabin for a holiday vacation to explore the area and do some hiking. The location next to the state park is very convenient, and the trails were a decent challenge at time. Would have been better with leaves, but that's winter travel for you.
The interior of the cabin was very cozy. The full kitchen was as promised and the heat worked well. I could definitely stay in somewhere like that long term, though I don't know if I would use the loft. The ladder is fine for going up, but feels dangerous coming back down. I don't know how to fix that as I'm not too familiar with loft set ups, but the biggest problem was the ledge was in the way of me putting my foot back on the ladder.
The bottom section was great though, and had the second bed downstairs, so it was all fine. We liked the decor and style as well. The hot water was a little iffy at times. It strongly ebbed and flowed while using it and while not using, probably because it was shared with nearby cabins. So the shower had a big temp range and the sinks may come out cold or come out hot straight away. The pressure was good though.
Overall the place was clean and cozy and if I ever intended to visit this part of the states again, I'd be happy to stay a second time.
