Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the most nicely-appointed condo I’ve ever rented. It was clean, modern, well-stocked, and comfortable. I’ve been staying at Villa Capriani for 30+ years, and while it never disappoints, this unit (and management) truly blew my expectations out of the water. The management company was incredibly simple to work with. My family and I had the most amazing week, and we can’t wait to book again!

The condo was overall pretty good, the only problem we had was huge cockroaches running through kitchen a day after exterminator sprayed

Thank you for your review...we are sorry you had some cockroaches in the condo. Unfortunately, roaches are a very common pest at the beach, they love it as much as we do! While not pleasant, as you mentioned, the property is treated with pest control on a regular basis and we are always able to get them back out if guests alert us of any issues. We hope you will consider a future trip!

Beach Vacation

Beautiful condo, plenty of room with great views of the ocean. It was nice and very convenient having a restaurant on property… Just wished they served breakfast too. I also wish there were ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We did lose hot water in the master shower on the last night. Property Mgmt offered to fix it right away but we said it wasn’t necessary since we were leaving the next morning. My daughter accidentally left her hat and favorite 49ers sweatshirt… Property Mgmt said they will ship it to us. We’re still waiting.

Can’t wait to go back!

To start, the condo unit is great. Very spacious- the pictures don’t do it justice- and well furnished. Can’t beat the view of the beach and proximity to the elevator (which had ample luggage carts to use). We found everything clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We had no trouble doing Instacart grocery delivery. The resort itself is wonderful. Easy access to the beach and multiple pools which never felt overly crowded. While we did not try the on-site restaurant, we heard positive reviews from other guests and it seemed lively without imposing on resort guests. The only minor annoyances we experienced were with the management company and the surrounding area restaurant options. For having your turnover day on Saturday, it seems wild that the management company wouldn’t have office hours. They seem to rely completely on their “digital guide” which does not have the most intuitive interface. We poked around in it a lot and still had trouble finding our actual unit number. They text sometimes, although we never got a reply to a text several days before arrival with a question. As for the neighborhood, there were very limited restaurant options and the ones we did try were definitely not the best. We had luck going down to Surf City, which we discovered from seasoned visitors is where everyone goes for a good meal. There were many options, and once we figured that out, we had a some great dinners out! Luckily the drive to Surf City is very easy and had no traffic.

We are so glad you enjoyed Carolina Sands! It is a great condo with wonderful amenities! We regret that you did not find the digital Guidebook to be intuitive. We try to clearly explain how to use the Guidebook, but will try to make that easier to use. We do not hold phone hours on Saturdays as our team is busy ensuring our properties are cleaned and ready for the incoming guests, but we do have a staff member on call 24/7 to answer any urgent needs such as yours and you did receive a response within 2 minutes of leaving a message. We hope that you will consider a future stay!
