Great stau as always

Beautiful space, Villa Capriani has the best pool and facilities. Property had everything we needed.

Disappointed

The place wasn’t as clean as it should have been. There was mold in the shower, sand on the couch, dusty baseboards ect. The kitchen was poorly equipped. The couch was ripped. All 3 bathrooms had leaky faucets. Our concierge, Melissa was great and responded quickly. However Betsy never responded when we reached out to her. We had a great and made wonderful memories with our family. We have stayed at the Villa Capriani many times over the years and this “newly renovated “ unit was not what we expected. There are many beautiful condos I wouldn’t waste my money on this unit

Perfect beach stay

Everything was great! The location on the beach, the location in the resort, the pools, and the condo were everything we were looking for in a beach stay! We will be staying here again!

Beautiful location

The condo was clean and well stocked. The balcony overlooked the beach and we sat there every morning and evening. The resort was beautiful and the restaurant was excellent. It was a very memorable vacation

Family vacation

This was a great condo. There were a few things in need of repair but those things certainly didn’t effect our stay. It was very clean and easy to get to the beach or pools. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time!

The resort is beautiful, kid-friendly, so many pools to choose from which the kids (and adults) loved. The villa was spacious and clean, and you can’t beat the view of the ocean right off the back deck! Awesome location, easy access to stores and restaurants. Pier is within walking distance and the beach wasn’t crowded even during peak travel season. The property manager was helpful with any questions. You won’t regret booking this!

Amazing!

Absolutely lovely! The location of this home is spectacular… the beach is probably less than 10 yards from the balcony, so you hear the waves and enjoy its splendor, from the comfort of the home itself. The rooms are spacious, super clean, and super cute. The restaurant at the complex was amazing! Just make sure you get there early. There are several pools on sight, you can always find a spot and lounge/ swim in different locations… finally Betsy, our host, was awesome! Very organized, clear instructions, and very helpful and responsive.

Mini Family Getaway

The location and site were wonderful. The unit itself was clean and as presented in the pictures. The beach area and pool area were fabulous. The floor did sag and give as you walked about throughout the kitchen and down the hallways of the unit. The mattresses on the bunk beds are very cheap mattresses and/or possibly just box springs as the springs can be felt through them when you try to sleep on them. The bedroom with bunk beds does not have a fan or a light, just a dim floor lamp in one corner. The other 2 bedrooms were great. The number of pool bracelets listed in the check-in email were not the number that were actually in the unit when we arrived. Thankfully a member of the site had just checked our unit and brought us some from another unit after calling the manager. When we left, we left the bracelets all just as they were when we arrived, but then received a text after check out that if we did not return the extra bracelets we would be charged for them, even though they were not there to begin with. After explaining this and reminding them of the conversation we had when we checked in about the number of bracelets they stopped messaging.

Great location

Our family has stayed at the Villa Capriani over the past 35 years. We had a total of 73 people this year for our family reunion. The unit we stayed in was adequate but could use some attention to details, such as appropriate number of towels for guests, light bulbs were out in appliaces, no batteries for remote controls. Would have been nice to have a vacuum. Furniture looking tired. Saving grace was iceanfront view, and family!

Overall great spot.. enjoyed the proximity to the beach.. place could use some tlc as light bulbs didn’t work a lamp switch was broken and the toilets took a terribly long time to flush.. other then that unit was pretty good and had lots of room

Amazing view, amazing amenities!

We had a wonderful stay! The view from our balcony could not have been better! The pools and beach were both very clean and easy to access. I highly recommend having the umbrellas and beach chairs supplied and set up by the company that supplies it- it was sooo nice to not have to lug it back and forth every day- they came early every day and took it all down around 5:00- (both my husband and I were very happy we had this done!) restaurant and bar on site were both nice as well. Our bed and furniture were comfortable. Two of the TVs were not set up, but I’m sure this has been resolved- plus we were there for the beach anyway. Condo was close to stairs so we didn’t have to use the elevator unless we wanted to. Wrist bands and key pad entry made everything easy. Just a hint- turn on the switch next to the disposal to turn on the dishwasher, and turn the clear part of the shower knobs to turn on the shower/ bath. Great stay!

Topsail is always good

We are annual Topsail visitors, and plan to retire there in the next 5 years. We wanted to test out the condo life to see if that would be an option when we move there. Glad we did as it isn’t for us. Constantly had to hear the people above us with 14 kids running around. Being that close to people that are self centered is a problem also. Parking is horrible, it is tight as it is, but good luck getting a spot because it is always full. I would not recommend renting from this person as she is horrible with communication and likes to put holds on your credit card. She put a large hold on my card the day before check in and it dropped off after check out. Then, she put another large hold on it for 5 days after check out. The condo was clean and nice, but the toilet in the master bath was loose, so loose that it almost tips over. The TP holder was broken and wouldn’t hold the roll. The shower curtain kept falling down. This is my first Vrbo experience and I would say probably my last.

Disappointed

Owner would not' take a phone call. The instructions gave 2 different check in times. When we arrived there were finger prints all over everything including doors, televisions, etc. eventhough the description said it was supposed to be cleaned to prevent the transmission of Covid. As a parent of children that have been ill due to Covid this was upsetting. I recleaned everything assuming if someone couldn't clean fingerprints of the t.v.s or glass doors. It's likely they didn't take the time to address door handles, faucet handles, etc. The owner told me that cleaning the glass doors ( to access the patio) was "deep cleaning" and was only done every third week! I told her for the cleaning fee that I paid of over $200 that was disappointing. She was unapologetic and explained this was their "busy season". I had previously called the Owner regarding check in details, since we were given 2 different times, she wouldn't answer my call but would respond via text. Never, during a 7 day stay did the owner conact us or even return a call to see how satisfied we were or to address any issues! There was no light in the room that slept 5 people so the kids were constantly walking into a dark room at night. The toilet in the master bedroom was not bolted to the floor so we couldn't use it. The towel rack was nearly pulled off the wall in the master bathroom. I let the owner know so we were not charged for it. The condo was just "renovated" according to the description. We were left with 1 pool card and 2 wrist bands for 4 adults and 3 kids. You cannot access the beach without going through the pool area first. My adult son and his girlfriend wanted to go to the pool but didn't have a card. They left it for my husband, myself and our younger kids that were going swimming after they finished lunch. My adult son thought someone would be kind enough to let him in the swim area without a key. He couldn't have been more wrong! Some other condo owner questioned him about who he was, whether or not he belonged there while she slammed the pool gate in his face! For 4 adults, a 15 year old and 16 year old, there definitely should have been more than one card and 2 wristbands! For part of our stay there was no parking in the parking lot so we had to park across the street. Had this condo owner addressed our issues instead of acting like they didn't exist, we would have had a better experience and she would have had a better review.

Would definitely come again

This coastal condo was nicely decorated and had a great view of the beach. We had three adults and four children and the living space was comfortable. We also enjoyed the pools and hot tubs. The onsite restaurant was convenient, food was good, and the staff was very friendly.

We had a great weekend even though hurricane Fiona cooled things off quite a bit. The beach weather was perfect after it went by but the pools had cooled a bit much for me. Our group found so many sharks teeth. We had a bag full. The condo was very nice and it was easy to contact the owner if we had questions.

Lovely unit, easy-to-work-with owner, great resort

The unit was great with attractive neutral décor and ocean front view. Having linens and towels really took the pressure off packing. The owner was so easy to work with, getting us an extra parking pass and making sure we had enough pool access chips for everyone. Check in was so much easier than when we have rented from realtors where you have to pick up keys - did not miss standing in that key line and then arriving after all the carts and parking spaces were gone! With three pools, two spas, the beach just a few steps from the pool, and a pier an easy walk away, this is one of our favorite resorts. Highly recommend!

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing stay at this property. The views are spectacular and you are close enough to the ocean to hear the waves at night. The pools and hot tubs were an added bonus on windy mornings or when the tide was high, which didn't leave much beach area for walking or play. The apartment itself was clean and cozy. The host was responsive when we did have a question/need. Would definitely stay here again!
