The living area offers comfortable, quality furnishings and a nice stone gas fireplace to cozy up to during winter nights. The kitchen is a pleasure to cook in with modern appliances and plenty of counter space for meal preparations. When you are ready for your meal, this cabin has a large dining table with seating for everyone, and is surrounded by a large window to enjoy your beautiful views. Or move outside to the deck for some outdoor dining.
The main level of this log cabin has two bedrooms and one full bath. Both bedrooms have a queen bed with country furnishings. There is a shared bath with shower that connects directly to one of the bedrooms. The loft is a great option for the older kids accessed by a wooden ladder with two full beds.
Downstairs offers a third bedroom with queen bed along with a full bath down the hall. There is also a laundry room with full-size front loading washer and dryer.
Relax and watch the gorgeous sunsets on the wrap around deck with a beautiful outdoor fireplace to cozy up to in the evening to tell that family story. Listen to the loons calling each other from nearby nests. On the east side is a covered porch with a charcoal grill.
Stroll down the path just off the patio steps to the shared marina, a great access to the wonders of Woman Lake for fishing, swimming, boating and water activities.
Be sure to leave time for a visit to the nearby town of Longville to attend the turtle races held every Wednesday or to have a cool treat at Frosty's Ice Cream.

Beautiful Northwoods Cabin!
We rented this cabin, along with Overholser Lodge next door, for a family reunion/90th birthday celebration for my mother. It is a beautiful property with gorgeous landscaping and views. It was perfect for the extra bedrooms we needed to accommodate us all.
We had an absolutely wonderful time and would highly recommend both properties, Woman Lake, and renting from Del and Susie Overholser. All are first-class!!!
The cabin was beautiful and perfect for our families!
We spent our days on the lake fishing, swimming off the dock and boating into Longville. Our evenings were spent playing games in the cabin. We had everything as promised by Del and Susie and they were always available to answer any questions. The neighbors were also wonderful and we all got along great. Definitely a 5 star experience!!
Beautiful setting for our wedding
We used both the lodge and guest house for our wedding. The guest house was a great place for us to prep for our wedding and our parents/family to stay in. Everything is well maintained and very comfortable. Overall a great place to spend some time on Woman Lake!
Beautiful home on a beautiful lake.
This cabin is beautiful and very well maintained. Susie and Del were wonderful to work with. I have been going up to Woman Lake my whole life and I think it is one of the most beautiful lakes on earth. We had terrible weather, so thank goodness the cabin was such a wonderful place to be! There are plenty of "rainy day" activities on the property and nearby so we managed to have a blast for the week we spent at Woman Lake. The cabin sits on a hill and it is a little hike down to the dock but I didn't hear any complaints from my spouse or kids. There was a spare boat lift that we were allowed to use which accommodated the 22ft boat we rented from Water Toys in Park Rapids. Such a bonus! The kids loved staying in the sleeping loft (accessible by ladder only) it was like being in a tree fort. The home had more than enough comfortable beds for us without using the loft but the kids loved having their own area. The kitchen is modern and well appointed with new appliances. We had everything we needed to make some memorable meals. I definately recommend this property and plan on renting it again!
Beautiful, quality cabin in private location
Our stay here was great! Comfortable beds, open living area, working bathrooms, nicely equipped and supplied kitchen, smoothly operating windows and blinds, lots of hot water for everyone. It's a little walk down a beautiful trail with some steps to the docks with a boat lift to use for our boat. Outdoor patio and fireplace are very nice...table, chairs, fireplace in a beautiful setting surrounded with trees and nice landscaping. A wonderful family get away spot!
Beautiful Cabin on a Beautiful Lake!
Our family of 9 spent 4 nights at this beautiful cabin. The main level of the cabin is spacious and has a true log cabin feel. The beds were comfortable and the one bathroom on this level was large enough for those of us sleeping there. There is a loft which the kids absolutely LOVED sleeping in, but be very careful as access is only with a detachable ladder and since there is no bathroom in the loft, nighttime bathroom needs for kids can be dangerous. There is a trap door that can be closed for safety. The lower level is a very small space with a bedroom and bathroom. There is an air hockey table in the tuck under garage that is accessible from the lower level, but there are snowmobiles stored there and the smell of gas is strong. WiFi was sketchy so we mainly used our data plans and they had a great selection of new release movies for the kids and games to keep them busy at night.
The wrap around deck with an outdoor fireplace was the perfect place to relax and roast some s'mores. Wood was provided which was a plus, but make sure to bring charcoal if you plan on grilling any food. There is a beautiful view of the lake through the trees. The cabin sits very high on a hill so getting down to the dock can be challenging for small children and elderly. The owners have done a good job with providing some spots of rope railings along the path to assist. There are also beautiful granite steps that grace the path periodically. We rented a pontoon from Wheeler Marine in Longville and the process was seamless. I highly recommend them, but make sure to ask for a second anchor as Woman Lake can get rather windy and one small anchor doesn't seem to hold very well. The owners provide a boat lift that was able to accommodate our rental so that was a nice amenity.
We headed into Longville on Wednesday and enjoyed the turtle races and carnival games. It was a nice break from fishing, which we really struggled with. Be sure to plan your trip around May Fly season as that food source for the fish really made for a difficult fishing week. We were able to spot a Musky and snag a little Northern and a decent Bass, but it was quite a struggle. Looking forward to coming back to this lake again in Spring or Fall to really experience the great fishing on this lake.
Longville Turtle Races every Wednesday
