About Michael Tikunoff
I am a self employed general contractor located in the Bay Area. Originally from Orange County, I spent quite a bit of time seeking high Alpine adventures in Mammoth. I love the Eastern Sierra and I am there as much as time permits.
Michael Tikunoff purchased this Condo in 2011
Why Michael Tikunoff chose Mammoth Lakes
I have rented and stayed at Mountain Shadows for six years prior to buying D7. I found it to be extremely convenient and close to everything you could want. I love the aspect of being able to drive into town, go shopping, check into the condo and never have to get in the car again until it's time to leave. Especially in the winter during one of those famous Mammoth Dumps! When I started visiting Mammoth in the 80's, I was hooked. Mammoth has everything and more to offer the outdoor enthusiast as well as casual vacationers. You could spend 5 lifetimes here and never see it all!
What makes this Condo unique
I have spent the extra time and money to make the condo feel like my home away from home. It is very comfortable and centrally located within town and steps away from the Green Line shuttle. My 2nd paid guest stated to me that the pictures did not do the property justice! I'm sure you will be pleasantly surprised as well.

Cozy and convenient!!
My 12yo son and I stayed here with our dog. It is a great location, very comfy bed, and overall relaxing location. Totally worth the price!!
Place is great. Great location and easy access to the mountain. Was just two of us and the dog, perfect amount of space and everything we needed for three days of boarding. Only issue was you can hear the other residents running up and down the stairs outside but it didn't bother us too much as we were were up and out early to the mountain.

We had an amazing time for our first trip to Mammoth. The accommodations were absolutely perfect. This condo is quite the little gem! It offered everything you need to feel right at home! The fireplace was the perfect addition. It's very centrally located close enough to everything should you feel like walking it's about 10 mins to the store or a quick little 3 min drive. The owner Michael was very prompt at responding to emails and answering all of our qustions. Thank you so much for the hospitality. We will be back!!
Great Studio, Clean and Cozy
We really enjoyed our stay here, the location is great (right near the green line shuttle) and this is one of the nicest (if not the nicest) studios I've stayed in Mammoth over the years. Very cozy, very well decorated, and very clean. It might be a bit tight for more than two people, works great for a couple. Clearly the owner cares about the property and the experience of his guests. The owner was very responsive and the reservation process was seamless. We liked having a stove heater in the unit, although it took a little bit of fiddling to get it going well (maybe it was user error?!). Wifi worked well. This may sound trivial but the large metal shelf unit in the alcove next to the door was extremely useful for storing and drying our ski stuff (and other things)! The only downside was that the unit is next to the outside stairs, but it wasn't really a big deal for us. The electronic lock is a feature I haven't seen before in a condo at this price range but the nice thing about it is we didn't have to worry about losing or forgetting a key. This property is definitely going to stay on my list for the future.
Cozy and Perfect Location!
Perfectly lovely little condo! Very clean and cozy newly remodeled condo. Bed was super comfortable and the fireplace was everything! Kitchen had all the amenities you need! It was dumping snow while we were there (awesome)...we walked a short 5-10min to restaurants and shops. Ski shuttle stops right out front to take you to The Village or lifts. We will definitely stay here again!
Very Cozy. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Loved the fireplace. Perfect size for my husband and I, plus the dog.
