Very comfortable and rustic
Comfortable home in a very private area. Property managers are very easy to work with and responsive. We enjoyed our stay.
The perfect cabin in the woods
We loved staying here - it was the perfect cabin in the woods with access to the river (great for our dog), a comfortable and cozy home, and a great place to disconnect. During our stay we checked out downtown Placerville for the Holiday Tree Lighting Festival which was a quaint downtown with lots of great shops and places to eat. We also got over to Sly Park for some easy hiking and views of the snow capped mountains. This cabin was the perfect get away from technology and a busy day-to-day schedule. Highly recommend to anyone looking to disconnect and great for your pup too!
Excellent home. Well decorated and very comfortable. 30 mins to downtown placerville. No internet or cell service so that's one negative. As seniors we felt uneasy without cell service as husband got ill and we left a day early as I was concerned not being able to reach someone in case of emergency. But overall lovely spot
Loved everything about this property!
We came up for a girls birthday weekend of wine tasting at Apple Hill. The house was cozy and inviting and had everything we needed. Loved the woodstove and the welcome bottle of wine. Walked down to the creek the morning before we went home and got some great pics. Make sure to arrive before dark. We got a little lost and had no phone service but the owners gave us great written directions and we found it without too much trouble. Would definitely stay again.
Great cabin in a beautiful place
This cabin is so comfortable and well appointed. Everything you need is there and the surrounding area is beautiful. There is almost no cell phone reception and NO internet but that adds to the peace and quiet. What a great place.
The property is great and well-equipped.
This is a nice property. It came with many supplies already ready for us and a bottle of wine to drink. The patio is beautiful and serene. The owner's are great as well. If there is one thing that took getting acclimated to is that there is no or very limited cell service and no Internet, which may have been a good thing. I especially liked the wildlife and river just across the street. We would go there again.
