The kitchen is spacious, very well equipped for the gourmet cook and has a Mediterranean 'feel'. You can sit at the bar and drink a cup of coffee and eat breakfast in the breakfast nook.
After a round of golf you may want to relax in the sunroom or play the electronic keyboard there.
You will find you will spend a lot of your time on the patio which runs the whole length of the back of the house and folds right onto the golf course; the only thing separating the two is a lawn which your gardner takes care of, and a low red brick wall. The patio is accessible from the kitchen, dining room and Master bedroom. Here you can relax, watch the sunrise or have a glass of wine as the sun sets before barbecuing and eating at the outdoor patio table or you may choose to have dinner in the formal dining room and still enjoy the view. At night you can enjoy the clear night sky with star gazing from the patio.
If you are a nature lover, you will enjoy sitting on the patio watching the hummingbirds, quail, bunny rabbits and squirrels.
There is a spacious laundry room with separate washer and dryer with an iron and fold out ironing table inset into the wall.
If you need to buy groceries, you may choose not to take your car out of the double garage and walk to the local grocery shop, coffee shop and other local stores.

Great home to rent in Oak Creek
We love this house and it is the second time we've rented it as well as have reservations for the next few years. It is within walking distance of the golf course and of restaurants in Oak Creek. You may walk on the golf course before and after it has closed. In addition, there are two sets of golf carts to use on the Oak Creek course. Master bedroom is very comfortable as is the guest bedroom. Patio is great for eating outside or for watching the stars at night. Sarah and Davis are very easy to work with. Did I mention the lovely views of the red rocks?
Thanks so much for your feedback. Delighted you enjoyed your stay. We're looking forward to having you as return guests.
This vacation makes us want to move to Sedona!
This property lives up to everything described on VRBO listing. My husband and I rented this home for 5 weeks and enjoyed it so much, we decided to extend our stay.
This home is spacious, extremely well equipped and has a magnificent view of the red rocks. We appreciated the fact that it is located in Oak Creek Village which is a short 15 minute drive to Sedona. The drive to Sedona offers majestic views of the red rocks and a number of hiking trails along the way.
Oak Creek Village is a friendly community which has great shops and all the amenities you would need.
The property owners, Sara & Davis, were great to work with. They gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and followed up with us on our departure.
If we were to go back to Sedona, we would definitely rent this property again. We truly felt as if we were in our own home.
Thank you Sara and Davis for your great hospitality!
Thanks Linda for your review. A warm welcome awaits when you come back next time.
Home Sweet Home
This home is beautiful but pet friendly, well equipped and in a great location no matter what recreational activities you choose to enjoy. We enjoyed staying in the village of Oak Creek where the people were friendly and everything we needed was a walk or short drive away.
Sara was a gem to work with and added some extra touches to make our stay comfortable and memorable. We will definitely request a stay at this home again. Thank you Sara & Davis!
Your feedback is so appreciated. Looking forward to having you return as our guests in the near future. Thanks!
A perfect spot for exploring the Sedona area
We recently spent the month of March at this home and thoroughly enjoyed it. The home was beautiful with an incredible view of the golf course and red rocks out the large window of the living room. The sun hit the red rocks at sunset and they were lit up in a beautiful red color. The view never got old. As a golfer, this was a great location in that I could walk to the club house of Oak Creek Country Club and my wife, relaxing on the large patio, could critique my shots as I approached the ninth green. We hiked almost every day and the majority of trailheads were within 20 minutes of the home. Being in Oak Creek got us away from some of the congestion that was in Sedona, especially around midday. The home was well furnished and very roomy. My wife and I each had a very large walk-in closet and the other bedroom was equally large. We had guests stay with us during the month and there was plenty of room for everyone. We really wanted to rent it again in 2017, but it was not available. You will not go wrong with this rental!
Great home, great location
We spent January in this quiet home with gorgeous views of the red rocks. Oak Creek golf course is less than one block away with a friendly staff. The home was well equipped and there are 3 baths. Both bedrooms are ensuite. The kitchen eating area offers a lovely view of the golfers on the ninth hole. I have nothing but good things to say about this property! The owners are accommodating and invited us to stay one night early since the home was not in use. We are going back next year and I am already looking forward to our visit!
Location, quiet elegance, The Village and lots to do and see
My husband and I spent three months here and can confirm the description of the home and surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed living here: the furnishings, lovely windows framing fabulous red rock views beyond the golf course, the hundreds of colourful, exquisite roses that bloomed constantly throughout March/April, and the Village itself nothing being more than a 5 min drive away. It should be noted that this 25+- year home has both dated and updated features with lots of interesting art and nicknacs that give it a comfortable, homey and somewhat quiet elegance.
We found getting involved in the fitness (55+) and golf community was easy and a lot of fun. Snap Fit is just down the road and we belonged to several golf 'leagues' at both Sedona and Oak Creek courses, and had a range pass that we both used almost every day. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The Sedona Golf course has a really well-priced and popular Thursday night dinner that changes every week and Oak Creek club started a Sunday brunch that was just starting to take off while we were there. All in all a great place to spend the winter months and we hope to be back. Sara and Davis are great hosts providing files of information, maps and books on local, regional and state attractions.
