Located in one of the quietest neighborhoods on the south side of Sedona. Just a 5 min drive to all the amenities, cafes, restaurants and grocery store in the Village of Oak Creek, along with hiking trails like Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock and more. This cozy cottage is a perfect retreat, complete with starlight, solitude, and direct trail access to the Coconino National Forest.

The expansive private back yard invites peaceful enjoyment of nature with a red rock backdrop. At night, enjoy star gazing while grilling up a delicious dinner or cozied up next to the firepit. During the day, follow your inner compass out onto the forestry land and explore to your heart’s content.

Inside the Cottage there is ample space for two. From the queen-sized master ensuite with an additional full bathroom adjacent, to the open plan kitchen and dining room that leads into a cozy living room with expansive glass double doors and floor to ceiling windows on both sides. In the morning, the front deck invites you to sit and catch the earliest rays of sun, and in the evening, enjoy the privacy of the back patio and watch the sunset glow on Lee Mountain just beyond the fence.

Don’t miss the opportunity to curl up on the sofa under the weighted blanket and watch TV or gaze out at the red rocks from our meditation chair or the outdoor covered dining table. Another charming aspect of the Cottage is the skylight over the bed, perfect for stargazing as you fall asleep.

The Cottage is close to the Village of Oak Creek (5 mins drive) and everything Sedona has to offer, or you can stay home and feel like you're in the middle of your own red rock paradise, which makes it a perfect escape.


Please be advised we have one exterior security camera at the front of the property and there is one locked room inside the house that is not included in the rental. It is not mentioned above.

This was a lovely, quiet, relaxing home that was perfect to come back to after hiking, biking and sightseeing. We watched a coyote exploring while eating breakfast and javalinas foraging in the evenings. We loved eating out in the backyard and taking in the view. The kitchen had everything we needed for meal prep and the living room was spacious. Check in and check out were very easy and the owner reached out to make sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We had such a lovely stay at Chris’s VRBO! The house was absolutely perfect — clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our trip. The backyard was especially beautiful and such a relaxing place to unwind after a day of exploring.The location was ideal for adventuring around Sedona, with easy access to all the sights and hikes we wanted to experience. Chris was an amazing host, providing so many helpful tips and tricks for our trip. Book this house immediately! It is absolutely perfect, and the pictures do not do it justice. The moment you turn into the neighborhood, you are greeted by the majestic Lee Mountain right behind the property—it is much closer and grander than it appears in photos. Inside, the house was spotless and fully equipped. After long days of hiking, the crisp AC and comfortable bed were amazing, and the bedroom skylight made stargazing from bed an incredible bonus. The backyard was the absolute highlight of our stay. We spent our mornings drinking coffee while watching local birds and wildlife, and our nights relaxing on the cozy patio furniture under millions of stars.

Last year we liked this place so much, we signed up right then for this year. This is the best way to experience Sedona and vicinity - on your schedule, away from the crowds, noise, and traffic on the roads and on the trails. Direct access to trails right out the back gate. Other uncrowded trails nearby with few cars in the parking lot. Some trails not listed in any guide, you have to ask the locals.Step out into the back yard at night. Absolute silence and a mesmerizing starry, starry sky!Chris is a perfect host. Unobtrusive, but available if needed. Very willing to do whatever he can to make your stay better. We have stayed elsewhere. This place is the best!

The cottage felt more like a home. It’s located on a quiet road not far from the main drag. There is a stunning mountain view from the backyard with a walking trail. The house had all the basics and more (i.e.: walking poles, umbrella, etc.). Chris is an excellent host- responding quickly to any questions and providing us with numerous restaurant and hiking trail options. We were very happy to stay here and would love to come back.

This house is beautifully decorated, has a beautiful view with direct access to hiking trails, and is quiet and peaceful. The owner is very helpful and communicative and goes above and beyond. The bed is comfy, there are helpful signs and labels throughout the house and a great guidebook provided, and the house is well stocked with plenty of items to get you started. Also there’s no lengthy check out chore list. I would highly recommend staying here!! Also, don’t believe the reviews on Clark’s Market, it’s a great place to get groceries and was clean and well stocked. Book the trip!

この宿泊施設の特徴

The location is amazing, so quiet (yet close to amenities) and right next to the national forest. It's so nice to be able to walk right out of the house and take a sunrise or sunset hike on a trail to the red rocks and probably not see anyone!!!
