Blowhole Bungalow - Comfortable Yachats Home

Our "Blowhole Bungalow" is aptly named for the migrating spouting whales that can be seen from the beautiful, open great room picture windows. And also for the naturally occurring blowhole formed in the rocky coastline just a few blocks from the house.

Just a few blocks in the other direction is a sandy beach for playing, kite flying, tide pool exploring, etc. All within easy walking distance.

The Blowhole Bungalow was designed and built in 2000 to be a welcoming, warm, comfortable and cozy escape for our family. It has been our getaway destination in all seasons of the year where we have treasured our fun and unforgettable times together, and we trust you will find that, too!

No Motor homes. No boats. No trailers. Strictly enforced.

This was our second stay at the Blowhole Bungalow and we are already looking forward to our third! The house is in a perfect location with great views of the ocean from the wall of windows and easy walks to the beach for closer inspection. Itā€™s also an easy walk to the center of town where there are lots of food and drink options for everyone and any time of day.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Have been coming here for several years. Love the location and house, but maintenance problems are increasing. Garage door doesn't work well, neither does the toaster, etc.

This property is lovely and exceeded expectations. It is larger than I thought from the pictures and has great windows with views of the waves. Very clean and well equipped. One of the nicest rentals we've had. We hope to return.

We really liked this property. Great location and condition. There is a lot of space in the house and you can park your car in the garage. We liked it so much that we booked another week in September.

The view from this side of town is our favorite; the view from this home is delightful. This is a very family friendly property. Itā€™s only a short walk to the beach house is very well equipped. I highly recommend.

We have always been happy with it and will probably stay there next time we go.We werenā€™t able to turn the shower on in the front bathroom and left a note. The recliners also need cleaning or replacing.Overall it was a great place.

The title says it all. The Blowhole Bungalow was a slice of heaven. The house was cozy, comfortable and clean; the location was ideal for us (a short walk to the beach and near several great restaurants but a little out of the way of the busy part of town) and we can't wait to get back.

Great place for an ocean getaway.

Really comfortable place to rest and rewind. Steps away from multiple views of the awesome power of the Pacific Ocean. A decent view of the ocean from the front room but better views within steps. This house is very well equipped and has multiple places to sit and have little groups.

Great experience!

Loaction is great, a short walk to the beach, and to town. Loved the open space of the kitchen, dining room, and sitting room. The rec room perfect space for our grandkids to play in. Very clean and organized! We will come again!

Great location!

Stayed here before a few years ago. Love the roominess of house, the location, views and amenities! Very comfortable for 6 people! Could use some TLC as is obvious the years of renting has taken a toll. Would still recommend as a great place to stay and will return but would hope for some revitilazation!!
