Sortez de la cour arrière dans le pittoresque parc d'État Hoffmaster, empruntez un sentier de 1 mile vers les dunes de sable du lac Michigan et admirez les magnifiques eaux et la plage du lac Michigan. House est à 10 min des épiceries de Norton Shores, à 15 min du centre-ville de Grand Haven, où vous pourrez profiter des magasins et du bord de l'eau. Grand Haven est le foyer du US Coast Guard Festival, le spectacle aquatique couleur Cascades chaque week-end. Holland Michigan est à 30 minutes pour le festival des tulipes. Les dunes de sable de l'ours dormant sont au nord. Montez à bord du ferry de Muskegon à 20 min au nord de la maison, pour emmener la fée à travers le lac Michigan jusqu'au Wisconsin. Faites une promenade en calèche dans le centre-ville de Muskegon. À 800 mètres de la montée à moto du mont Garfield. Plusieurs pistes cyclables à proximité, y compris la piste cyclable Lakeshore.

We enjoyed our stay here while visiting our daughter in college. The house was cozy and had everything that we needed. It is located in a nice little neighborhood and it is a walking distance from the beach. There are nice trails and beautiful views from the sand dunes. The trails lead to campground and a state park. Also it is a short drive from shopping and restaurants. We visited in April, so it was still cold, but we dressed warm and enjoyed walks on the trails and the beach.

Wonderful Location!

The location of this property is amazing! The ability to walk to the beach made our stay very memorable. The layout of the house is perfect for a group of people to enjoy. the inside of the main house was very clean and comfortable for all of our guests. The screened in porches and the outside of the property could be better maintained and cleaned.

Perfect location!

Location was ideal! The kids had fun building a snowman and playing In the backyard. We loved being so close to Lake Michigan. The open area worked great for our family hang out. We would rent this place again.

Cozy, Hidden Gem in Norton Shores.We had a fantastic stay at this cozy home! Although it’s located in a quiet subdivision, it feels tucked away and private, surrounded by trees and ferns. The backyard was perfect for relaxing, and we loved making s’mores around the fire pit at night.The house had plenty of space to lounge, clean and comfy bedrooms, and a well-stocked kitchen that made cooking easy. The 15-minute walk through the woods to the beach was a highlight—beautiful and peaceful. We recommend bringing a wagon for beach gear!It was a wonderful weekend, and we made memories we’ll cherish for years. Highly recommend!

Good Location / Beach & Parks Close by

Overall the location was great, with the beach and stores close, relatively clean, but property but could use some TLC. This was the first time I’ve stayed at a VBRO with air purifiers in every room. The blue lights were a little bothersome to sleep with. The place comfortably sleeps seven (7) people. The furniture was a little tired, but I’d say a 3.75 out of 5 stars.

Great location!

This was our 4th time staying here. We just absolutely love the location. Quiet street and just a few minutes walk to the beach. Wish I would've booked 1 extra night 😊

We absolutely loved your home. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family who visit the Muskegon area. The walk through the woods to the beach was my daily routine. The home had everything we needed!

Loved it!

The property was great! It was clean and comfy! We enjoyed the private backyard and the bikes in the garage! Also the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The short trail to the beach was amazing too! However the time we went the beach smelled of dead fish. But overall everything was just great!

Comfortable, Convenient Getaway

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood and close to all the Muskegon and Grand Haven activities. Getting to the beach is easy but a workout if you're carrying a lot of stuff! House had everything we needed. The only suggestion would be privacy curtains in bedrooms. Would recommend for anyone looking for a nice family getaway.

Beautiful Location

The home was very nice. The location was amazing so close to the park and the beach area but they need to really fire. Their cleaning lady. There were huge tumbleweeds of dog hair from. I’m assuming previous renters on and around furniture and I know for a fact, I left the house cleaner when I left then when I arrived.

Called our cleaning company immediately after your review to reinforce our cleanliness standards and ensure stricter inspections moving forward. Perfect location and a great home

This house should be booked all summer long! It was perfect for our party of 5, ranging from 11 to 80 years of age, plus our dog. Plenty of seating to host others for meals or a cocktail hour. The house was clean and well appointed inside and out. None of us detected any smell some other guests mentioned. The neighborhood is quiet and we had some nice chats while out for walks. The wooded walk to the lake was magical. Great dining and every convenience was a short drive away.

2024 Norton Shore visit

This was our third year staying there (we've also booked time in 2025), so we do enjoy staying there. A couple comments we have are that it would be nice to have an icemaker and that the large area rug in the kitchen is rather dirty/stained and should be taken care of before your next guests arrive. All else was fine. See you next year!

Quiet retirement community

This was a nice cozy home for a weekend girls trip. While we didn't use it, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you need. (No complimentary coffee bar, so bring your own) I would not attempt the backyard trail. You will find a better route in the renters guide binder. I'm not opposed to revisiting this location, but some minor improvements would be welcomed. 🙂

Family Beach Blast

We absolutely loved staying here! We came for the beach but also fell in love with the house. We will absolutely be coming back for another stay. Less than 20min from Grand Haven beach to play the day away and hang out for the singing fountain after sunset. Less than 20 min from the Muskegon high speed ferry when it was time to head back to Minnesota. The short walk to P J Hoffmaster beach from the house was difficult because of beach erosion the last couple years making the climb up and down very steep but it was still definitely worth the effort! Only negatives were we wish there was more seating to eat together with everyone and a couple people in our group thought there was a strong musty smell but the rest of us couldn’t smell it.
