Ideally located, you’ll find the Spencer Landing Marina, Shark Reef Sanctuary Trail, and Lopez Island Golf Course all within a 35-mile radius. Spend a day fishing, boating amidst the picturesque surroundings, embarking on a scenic hike, or playing a leisurely round of golf with friends. With beach access, everyone can enjoy endless sand and water adventures.

Step into this lovely oasis and feel right at home in the sun-filled, open-concept living areas bursting with plush seating, luxe accents, and artfully curated interiors. Snuggle up to stream all your favorite movies on the sofa or create delicious home-cooked meals in the full kitchen, complete with high-end appliances and ample counter space. Fiber optic internet is perfect for sharing highlights and finishing remote projects. After a full day of fun, gather with friends on the spacious patio to share some local brews, lots of laughs, and unwind with a rejuvenating soak in the private hot tub. The gentle glow of the setting sun promises to be the perfect conclusion to a magical day.

All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.


If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Delightful property for a family gathering.

The lot was very large so no noise from neighbors and the house was super roomy. The view of the bay from everywhere was stunning. We all loved it and had a great time staying there.

Well , the most gorgeous setting . Super Quiet . Loved the area. House was large , roomy , pretty well equipped kitchen . The house itself needs some TLC, please replace some lightbulbs in the living room . Fix the cabinet in the kitchen . Just a bit dated but as it’s a VRBO probably no one wants to put time or money into it . Otherwise great place.

Great time on Slow Pez Island!

The house had a wonderful setting on south side of the island with easy access to a lovely beach. The home could be furnished a little better with a few essentials but otherwise very nice. We had a great time!

Wonderful stay at Horizon's End

Our family of 8 gathered from across the country to stay together at Horizon's End. We had a wonderful time! We loved the open floor plan and expansive views and each group in our family had plenty of private space. We would love to return for another stay in the future. Thank you!

Nice spot with descent rocky beach access.

Great views of the bay and access to a couple rocky beaches with beautiful variety of pebbles. Good crabbing in the bay was good while we were there! House is nice if a bit funky, light switches are scattered, not near the door to the rooms. Plenty of supplies and amenities, made use of the hot tub, grill, all around kitchen is well stocked for cooking.

Beautiful location.

Great view , beautiful property. Interior is great in photos but lacks details that make it a pleasure to live in. Gas fireplace did not work. There are other quibbles but the island views are the main point.

Pictures don't do it justice

The pictures don't do this place justice--it is much more beautiful in person. The house itself is situated a little back from a cliff overlooking a bay; the views are lovely, and you have access to a couple different beaches. It's not clear from the photos, but there is a hot tub with views of the bay. Beds are comfortable (the master bedroom in particular is a dream), and the house has a fun, unique aesthetic (the owner must be an interesting person). We had a wonderful time here and would absolutely come again!

Family visit

I stayed with my retired parents, my wife, our four year old son and the dog. We enjoyed the home-like feel of the house and beautiful, beautiful property. The beds were all comfortable and the home had a lot of interesting spaces. The media room was a little confusing to use and took some tinkering, but it was a nice thing to have use of once we figured things out. The hot tub was advertised, but not working when we were there. Overall, a clean, spacious home on an extraordinary, private piece of paradise. We would love to come back again to stay.

Serene water views.

The property was amazing, but we had a few issues with the maintenance and communication with the manager. Despite having an engineer and a realtor with us, we struggled with the front door lock every time, successfully opening it only once. We had to resort to entering through a window ( which could be a separate problem). I don’t know if it is broken or they need to give better instructions. When we arrived there were sheets still in the washer and dryer. The grill was absolutely filthy, with remnants of fish still on the grate. The heater was turned off and the fireplace did not work. When we tried to reach the manager his mailbox was full and it took a couple hours for him to return our call. He turned on the heat remotely but the fireplace was not repaired. Despite these issues, we would return in a heartbeat. The view and the solitude were unparalleled.

Lovely house at the south end of island

This is a spacious, relaxing and clean house with gorgeous views in several directions. Wonderful well-placed windows let in light and the views of water, sky and lawn. It has a great kitchen for a group of 4, roomy and well-appointed. We loved the firepit and the "viewing room". We all decided that we want a viewing room in our own houses now as it was so much fun. The house is private and when we were there no one was using the garage apartment. Master bedroom is quite special. You will hear a bit of Whidbey Island jet noise which is normal for the south end of the island, but during our time it was not a bother as they were well to the south and west. I am so glad this house is available for vacations, but there were a few upkeep issues that were a bother. We did have an alarming leak in the dining room and southern kitchen windows when it rained, which turned out to be two days for us. We were able to keep on top of it with buckets and towels. It was not so much an inconvenience as a worry -- we wanted to take care of the house and be sure the water did not damage it! There are two beaches with beach stairs which is awesome, as one set was not working (we knew that before coming) but the other gave sufficient access to a private beach that we could walk on or use to get into the water. There was an amazing rainbow one afternoon after the rain which we all agreed was the best we have ever seen and incredibly visible biz of the layout of the house. The local manager was very nice, responsive and informative. In spite of the issues I mention it was a special experience.
