Adorable Lopez Island Cottage

Adorable cabaña de nueva construcción en la Isla López, ahora lista para su relajación y disfrute recreativo.

Convenientemente ubicado a una escasa milla del muelle de ferry de la isla López. La casa de estilo Craftsman reproduce una cabaña de la era de 1920 con pisos de madera y comodidades modernas. Alcoba luminosa y alegre, isla de cocina con barra de bar, encimeras de corian y gabinetes de tablero de cuentas.

La casa tiene un porche frontal especialmente agradable orientado al sur con sillas Adirondack. La propiedad está ubicada en un terreno privado de dos acres con césped y árboles. Dos dormitorios de la cabaña más un loft espacioso para seis personas cómodamente.

La cabaña está al otro lado de la carretera del parque Odlin, con su playa de arena, zona de barbacoa, lanzamiento de botes, rutas de senderismo y campo de softbol. López es un destino favorito para los ciclistas. Bicicletas y kayaks están disponibles para alquilar en el pueblo.

Such a clean & Tidy Pkace

Every bed was neat and ready for some good night’s sleep. Bathroom and kitchen impeccable. And oh so wonderfully quiet with rabbits and dear roaming about, birds chirping in the morning, no noisy neighbors. Would definitely stay another week in another year.

Our stay at this property was perfect. The Cottage was immaculate and perfect location for the start of the Tour de Lopez. Communication was excellent. The description of the property is perfectly accurate.

Very neat and tidy. Everything we needed was there. Bigger place than we needed, but it’s Lopez. Did a sunset walk to Odlin Park with grandson. Very nice.

Charming cottage near the beach

We were immediately impressed by the extensive literature collection and beautiful yard full of deer. The house was clean and well stocked. We really enjoyed our time. Overall, this was the island slow down we needed.

Delightful little house

The location was perfect as a home base for cycling around the island. It was a small home with just the right amenities for a comfortable and pleasant stay! Has easy parking and a bike rack out front.

The perfect anniversary getaway spot

Incredibly clean, quiet, simple, sweet. Enjoyed the cleanliness of the property and the beautiful bouquet of flowers to greet us upon arrival. It was the perfect home base for a relaxing weekend away from the city. We can't wait to visit Lopez Island again.

This really was an Adorable Cottage!

This adorable cottage was so comfy and had lots of room. The WiFi/tv was great. Incredible books on the bookshelves. Fresh flowers and a beautiful photo note welcomed us. Washer/dryer was appreciated. The host was so kind helping us add more days and responding to our request for supplies. This is a unique cottage that was a pleasure to stay in.

Sweet cottage on Lopez Island

We loved staying in this adorable cottage which had a well-equipped kitchen and some nice hanging out space in the living room and eating nook. Laurie went above and beyond to help us figure out how to navigate Lopez Island without a car. We stayed for 6 days so had a lot of time to explore all the island had to offer on foot and by bicycle. Our only suggestions would be to add hooks/bars in the bathroom for towels, somewhere at the entrance to put coats and shoes, and a grill would be nice. Next time I get to Lopez, I would definitely stay here again!

Clean + nice location

Bud cottage was very clean and comfortable, and was the perfect spot to reach all our destinations on Lopez. The hosts left flowers for us and were quick to communicate. The house was a bit sparsely furnished, but we knew this from the listing. Overall, a fantastic place to stay and we were well satisfied.

Wonderful Cabin on Lopez

Stayed in June of 2022 - 2 adults and 2 teenagers. The cabin is just as advertised in the photos in the listing, recently built and well thought out with lots of natural light. We really enjoyed the large lawn, the bright and airy space, and the proximity to the park across the street. The house is about 5 minutes by car from Lopez Village, which is very cute with little shops and a few restaurants. The only note is that the upper loft does get a bit hot and could use a fan, but communication with Kevin was great and overall this was a relaxing and easy stay!

Lovely cottage with some caveats

This cottage is beautiful and super clean. We enjoyed the ample counter space in the kitchen. The hosts were SUPER responsive to communication -- almost instantaneous! It's just a few minutes to walk to the beach at Odlin County Park. Our group had two caveats to share with prospective guests: 1) there was zero internet connection in the bedrooms. The hosts came over to try to improve things but were unable to do so. Some of us had work to do and that made it difficult to get things done. 2) The cottage is in a very quiet area in terms of the exterior. The interior was a different situation. The heaters are quite loud and the bathroom fan sounded like a jet engine. Somehow the bathroom fan was louder outside the bathroom than inside. The interior walls don't seem to have sound insulation, so sound travels easily, especially to/from the loft to the common area. If these issues wouldn't bother you, you are certain to have a lovely time at the cottage.

Great Stay

Really clean, comfortable and quiet house in a private location. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Just a few miles to the village, walk over to the beach at Odlin or just down the road to soak up the sights. Especially good spot if you’re a cyclist.

Clean, comfortable, great location.

We spent the week kayaking and biking and this was a great location for both, plus close to the ferry. The house could use more hangers, some bathroom hooks, more glasses, and mirrors in the bedrooms (to help with only having one bathroom). The classics library is impressive!

Great cottage for quiet summer holiday

Our family of four spent a wonderful week in this cottage. It was a lovely, efficient space with simple furnishings but everything we needed. We loved that it was walking distance to the sandy beach at Odlin Park. The hosts were thoughtful (even providing fresh flowers and a welcome card on arrival) and very responsive.
