Newly remodeled 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage on McDonald Island across from Brown's on the Middle Channel (St. Clair Flats/Harsen's island). Two 40 foot docks. Great swimming off the seawall and easy quick access to swimming at Fisher Bay, Goose Bay, Muscamoot Bay, Gull Island. Great fishing locations close by and off the docks. In the middle of the St Clair Flats with some of the best duck hunting in the Midwest! Across the river from Browns, gas docks, small boat launches and bigger launches close, and parking less than 5 minutes for guests who can pay for overnight parking! Overnight parking options at certain launches. Refrigerator, strove, microwave, and gas grill. Fish cleaning table and vacuum sealer. Huge lot with yard games, firepit, sunrises and sunsets to die for, - a true vacation spot away from the hustle and bustle of the real world! ***Note*** This is a boat access only cottage, parking available at multiple boat launches and on Harsen's Island across the river.

We bought this for family vacations and raising our kids and families to enjoy everything Lake St. Clair has to offer. Turning off iPads and getting into the outdoors, fishing, duck hunting, tubing, water skiing was the main goal and the kids love it! We wanted to share this with other people since our work schedules don't allow us to use it every week/weekend. It truly is paradise!

Why they chose this property

We have great neighbors on the island, restaurants by water are close, the middle channel is less busy than other areas and honestly, the boat access only part of the cottage is the best. You truly feel like you're remote, but a couple minute boat ride and you're back to civilization. It is the best of both worlds. The incredible water sports, fishing, and duck hunting right off the dock is the best part!

What makes this property unique

The boat access only, living on an island with modern day amenities and fully updated is the best. The yard is massive and plenty of room for yard games and even room for whiffle ball games with full teams gives it the cherry on top! Plenty of room, quick access to great fishing, hunting, bays, restaurants, etc. It truly is a one of kind cottage for our area.
