Alhambra del Mar is a quiet, luxury ground floor apartment of 110m2 in one of the most exclusive fenced communities of Marbella. You can walk to Playa de Nagüeles in three minutes without crossing busy streets, it offers fun for all ages and has countless (inter)national restaurants and cafes. Alhambra del Mar is only 15 minutes walking (or jogging or bicycling) from the old town "Casco Antigues" of Marbella. The kitchen is simple but has all appliances; a Nespresso-espresso machine, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine. A large dining / living room with WiFi, air conditioning, opens onto the large terrace wit small private garden. Splendid apartment near the sea!
Located in an elegant gated community featuring an abundance of tropical plants and flowers throughout the grounds. It was quiet and peaceful. Paul provided us with gate access to a parking lot on the grounds. Very convenient location, with a short walk to the beach, restaurants and beach cabanas. Interior and furnishings were very good. Marble floors throughout the apartment. Air conditioning was quiet and efficient. Overall, the place and our experience were lovely!

Perfect place to stay if you want privacy in a popular beach resort. We loved the complex & the unit
Wonderful stay! Loved the very private outdoor dining area and stunning landscaping. Would definitely return! Lay out with bathrooms between the bedrooms worked very well with 2 couples. The unit was very well cared for. Very private setting yet only 5 minute walk to the beach. We didn't mind the walk to the beach and loved being in such a quiet area. The unit is well cared for the kitchen was well stocked. We cooked and ate most meals there as the outdoor dining area was such an inviting place to sit and relax. We would recommend this place highly to couples or families who enjoy privacy yet would like to be close to beach and restaurants! Fabulous experience- hope to be back!

Dream condo
We are new grandparents who invited the young couple with their four month old for a family vacation. The two bedrooms, two bathrooms set up provided the requisite amount of privacy and noise isolation. The ground level terrace provided ample room for dining, lounging, bbqing, and drying for the necessary frequent laundering. The complex has a wonderful well maintained garden with streams and fountains which provided welcome distractions the grandson when he was in a bad mood. The pool is well maintained and large enough for lap swimming. We welcomed the fact that we were a block from the beach as it made the location more quiet and peaceful. It was also very convenient since we were a block from a gourmet supermarket located in the El Corte Ingles store. It is very well located situated near the beautiful boardwalk connecting the nearby historical center of the old Marbella to the high end Puerto Banus. For those with a car, it is convenient to good highways to other centers along the coast or the beautiful "Pueblos Blancos", especially Ronda. A special thanks to Ines for her assistance with the lodging and her travel advices. We are looking forward to returning one day.

We are a family of four and have been fortunate to have this lovely apartment since our oldest was not even one.
We visit Marbella three or four times a year, and have been doing so since the kids were small and before that. We love the tropical gardens, the lively beach and a visit to the old town.

Why they chose this property

My husbands family has been living part-time in Marbella since the 1960's so we have a connection wit Marbella. We have seen great changes over the years and still in love with the laid back, lively and tropical surroundings. The cheerful atmosphere, immaculate gardens, beach life, foods and sun make this an all year round destination we enjoy every time.

In Marbella you see people of all ages and backgrounds mingle and enjoying themselves. Certainly in summer (which is almost from April till November) people are outgoing; take a stroll, go to the beach and dine together with family and friends. That's exactly what we do too!

We like to travel if we can and explore Andalusia and it's surroundings. We have been off to Morocco, Ronda, Gibraltar, Faro, Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, Sierra Nevada, Cadiz, Portugal, Malaga off course and many more places in the last years.

There is a lot to see, experience and explore in the area which it doesn't make it dull in the long run!

What makes this property unique

Alhambra del Mar has a central location, quiet and the beach with it's fun is very nearby. The tropical surroundings in the urbanisation are beautiful and perfectly maintained. The ground-floor apartment is 110m2 with a large & sunny terrace and small private garden which accesses a big palm tree garden with the pool, sun beds and parasols. There is a semi closed parking space.

The sea a is a two minute walk without having to cross any busy roads. The beach has a range of activities for all ages and plenty of restaurants to choose from. You can walk to the old city center of Marbella easily in 10 minutes over the boulevard.

Warm welcome, meet and greet is done by kind staff (English & Spanish speaking) when arriving in Marbella. Staff and I are easily reachable by email or phone / whats-app for any questions or issues. Also for local tips and recommendations we are more then happy to inform you what's happening in and around Marbella.
