Please note:

During pollen season, the grounds are heavily covered. This is on a wooded lot, and although we do the best we can to keep it clear, it has the potential to be bad if you are sensitive to it.

Also, this home is NOT child-friendly. It has stairs, brick surfaces, and no safety features. There are also collectibles, toys & posters on display shelves and walls that some may find scary.

Large wooded yard, patio deck & grill, stocked kitchen, and everything you will need to feel at home!

Relaxing, private, 80's theme house ready to transport you back. Every room is full of 80’s memorabilia.

3 bedrooms (King, Queen, and Single with Single pull-out Trundle) all with sound machines and fans.
1 full bath with walk-in shower (no tub), 1 half-bath, 1 sink area.

Private basketball hoop/ball, a large selection of board games for all ages, karaoke machine, and an Arcade1Up machine with tons of games.

Full kitchen stocked with everything you need : jellies, hot chocolate, tea, bottled water, popcorn, condiments, coffee, pot, and a Keurig machine with coffee and cold creamer. Oils, spices, condiments… basic cooking needs.

Large, private, wooded back yard with deck and dining set.

Washer and dryer available to guests staying 3 nights or more.
A grill is also available on the back porch, but you will need to provide your own charcoal and lighter fluid.

Walking distance to the grocery store and a few fast food places. .5 miles

This house is INCREDIBLE - such an interesting place to stay because of all of the 80's memorabilia. The host, Amanda, was very nice and responsive. We had a great time!!

Absolutely an amazing stay. Completely accurately described. If you appreciate the 80's I can't think of a better experience. Great hosts (even left pastries). Easily slept 5. Full kitchen stocked with snacks. Plenty of extra toiletries.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the 80's house! It was clean, well kept, and had everything we could want in a rental (pans, pots, stocked fridge, and even a bidet toilet seat). The most amazing part of the visit was spending hours looking at all the 80s stuff on the walls, shelves, and on top of furniture. I spent so much time explaining to my kids how I used to play and use all these things -- Walkman, instant camera, brick cell phone, cassettes, Cabbage Patch Kids, Garbage Pail Kids cards, etc. Overall, it was a wonderful place to visit and made our trip to take our daughter to visit NC State so much more enjoyable than we thought possible.

This house is a five minute drive from Coastal Credit Union Music Park (I timed it for this review). It is decorated with all 80s posters, cassettes, videotapes, albums and toys. The color scheme and patterns are 80s, too. It is fully stocked with coffee, tea, creamer, flavor bottles and snacks. This is a great house to stay in with late elementary school children and beyond because it is a time capsule of the 80s. I have seen every single movie shown in any form on the walls! The owner is responsive and also left us delicious homemade cookies. Stay here, rather than a hotel in downtown Raleigh if you’re going to a show at Coastal Credit Union.
