Sail Away Cottage Large Deck Overlooking Pool Steps To Sugar Sand Beach

The Sail Away Cottage is located at 2113 Avenue C in Bradenton Beach. This historic cottage was built in 1920 and moved to its current location in the 1980’s. It is only 170 steps to the sandy beaches and there is even a peek of the gulf! While the cottage still has the look and feel of the 1920’s, it has been nicely updated with an island “Sail Away” theme. Because the home is elevated, you can listen to the waves from the gulf in pure tranquility. Recently updated, this is a three-bedroom, two-bath home and will sleep six people with two queen size beds and two twin beds.

There are 32” TVs in each bedroom as well as a 51” wide screen TV in the living room with a DVD player. The private backyard setting includes a new, heated pool, an outdoor shower, and a large deck - all secluded in new and tropical landscaping.

One week minimum rental.
Not a pet friendly rental

Parking is limited to three vehicles.

Family Vacation

Great house in the perfect location for a family. Quick walk to the beach and 15 minute walk to Bridge Street and all it has to offer. Pool was just the right size and the landscaping was beautiful.

The home on the inside is very nice - beds are comfy - close to everything we wanted to do - groceries- restaurants- beach - we had a very enjoyable stay !! The deck does need some very much needed repair - the pool needed some attention the day we got there - it was not clean and we were told the pool was tended to twice a week - on Fridays and Wednesday - we got there on a Saturday and it did not have any chlorine in it - and we spent 2 hours cleaning it and filling it to where it needed to be to pump water - the filter was full of leaves - the pool guy did come on Wednesday and did fill it with chlorine - much better - it was a great time just laying back and enjoying the October weather !!! We will be back!!!

It was just right for us. The construction next door was a little distracting. And the girls weren’t thrilled to hang out in the pool when the work crew was there. But overall it was wonderful.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay! We went to the beach and swam in the pool everyday! We saw manatees five of six days. We saw dolphins one day. It was a wonderful and relaxing week.

House is tucked away with tall trees and tropical plants which was great for privacy. House was very clean and accomodating for our family. Our only complaint was the Mosquitos being out of control all day.Made it tough to enjoy the backyard especially in the evening. Overall highly satisfied with property and would visit again

Beautiful Home

Loved the house, pool and perfect location. Very short walk to the beach and you can see the ocean from the front window. We will be returning next year. Make sure you bring some bug spray the mosquitoes can be pretty bad once the sun goes down. Overall wonderful stay at this beautiful home!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Sail Away. Everything we needed was right there. Beautiful private pool area, short walk to the beach, house is decorated super cute! Beds are all comfy. Plenty of towels,beach towels even toys for the beach.Kitchen was well stocked if you plan to cook and a grill outside by the pool. Great place! Beautiful white sand beaches!

Felt at home

Definitely a house you can relax in. We had 6 people during our stay and never felt crammed in together. The twin beds in the 2nd guest room are not very sturdy, so I was a little nervous putting my boys in there. Good communication with rental service even when we arrived very late. Overall very pleased with our stay.

Book Now - You Won't Regret It

We were completely satisfied with our stay at "Sail Away Cottage". Pictures are accurate, description is spot on, house is clean. Close proximity to the beach was a big plus for us. Quiet neighborhood and the beach wasn't crowded. Close to many different restaurants. Check-in was efficient and communication was clear. Such a hidden gem. You won't be disappointed with this booking.

Super Sail Away

Everything was as pictured. The living area was larger than expected. We loved the gate off the back porch since we had an 18 month old with us and it was added security with the pool.We were able to walk to numerous restaurants and we were very close to the beach.Easily communicated with the vacation rental agency. Only negative was the mattress in bedroom 2. It really sags in the middle. We would return!J and SOn numerous

Amazing location and house!

We absolutely loved this property. The location was amazing. A very quick walk across the road and you were on the beach. So close we walked several miles on it every morning before working remotely. We were also able to walk to plenty of restaurants and bars from here. We didn’t drive for 4 or 5 days while here and just walked everywhere which was awesome. The pool and backyard are so nice and private and the house is beautiful. We would definitely rent here again.
