Everything was as advertised, comfortable, clean accommodation. Location was perfect , bus stop across the road to Whistler base and grocery store /marketplace shops also across the road . Would highly recommend.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the Stoney Creek area because it is so close to a wonderful market, and some nice shops. We have been going to whistler for over 20 years, the second week of December before the holiday crowds and the prices go up. Northstar is a favorite, condos are nice with a wonder outdoor pool and hot tub. Unit #8 had been remodeled so it was nice and clean with all the amenities.

It is very nice property, proper designed, lots of cooking stuff, Close to pool, hot tub and market. But not 300m to base of ski area, more than 1000m, needs a lot of walk to base.

Amazing location & super clean!

My husband, five year old daughter and I had an amazing week in Whistler staying at this beautifully renovated condo. It was impeccably clean and had all the kitchen utensils we needed. The wifi and cable were great! The location was absolutely perfect and we didn’t need to drive for the entire week we were there. We can’t wait to go back!

Great stay

We enjoyed our week-long stay in this unit at North Star. We stayed at North Star during our first trip to Whistler, stayed someplace else the second trip, and returned to North Star for our third trip. We plan on staying at North Star again next year as well. The unit was absolutely SPOTLESS when we arrived, and the kitchen was well appointed. There were even some leftover spices, oils, etc. in the pantry. Definitely check in before going to the grocery store so that you do not duplicate what is already there. For example, there was a whole pack of coffee filters in the unit and multiple containers of salt and pepper, both of which we purchased before arriving. The unit also included enough toilet paper, paper towels, tissues, trash bags, and dish soap for the week. I also enjoyed the deep bathtub and rain shower head/detachable shower head combo and the heated bathroom floor, and the wide selection of cable TV channels. The location of this unit is superb. It's very close to the check-in office and the circle/parking garage entrance, so transporting our luggage and gear from the car to the unit was very easy. The grocery store is also right across the street, and the liquor store is in the same shopping center as the grocery store. The gondolas are technically walkable, but it's a long walk. We took the free shuttle across the street when we hit the slopes. My only complaint was similar to other reviewers: the bed was quite uncomfortable. It should DEFINITELY be replaced.

Mattress firmness is a personal preference thing and we would agree that this particular mattress is on the firm end of the spectrum. Thank you.

Nice unit but noisy in the summer

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good: Nice recently redone, small quite usable and decently outfitted kitchen, one of the TVs is a Roku. Convenient location for walking to the store. W/D in unit is nice. Bad: Mattress is as soft as granite. NOISY if you have to have the windows open which is needed most of the time most of the summer (no A/C) you get to listen to the continuous stream of screaming kids at the pool and adults shouting and playing music on portable speakers. It is nearly continuous 10a-10p even on weekdays unless raining. I would not stay in this unit in the summer because of the noise. I don't understand why the complex puts up with the noise because many units in Northstar have this issue, any that face the pool, and many do.

We felt it was like home, with utensils to cook meals as we like, walking distance to market place that is just across the street, shuttle to the village center and gondola station in a few minutes. It is convenient and quiet place. Definitely will stay here again in the future. The only downside is the TV channels seem not free. We did not spend a lot time to read the manuals to figure it out. As we use the internet most of time. it would be nice to have a couple more cooking pots.
