Experience the ultimate gathering place in the heart of Charleston with our whole house TAKEOVER. This historic 1885 home offers two unique units. With almost 3000 sq. ft. of space, you'll have plenty of room to spread out and create lasting memories together. Make yourself at home in these charming accommodations during your stay in Charleston. Floorplans and site plan are available on photos section of listing.

MAXIMUM CAPACITY is 16 guests.



***Do you have more than 16 guests and need a bigger place? Consider adding Wando House which is on this same property, shares the parking area, and sleeps an additional 8, for a total of 24 possible at this location.



The Space:

This property consists of two unique units: The Edisto House on the bottom floor, and Cooper House on the upper.



Edisto House:

Bedroom 1: King Bed and Twin Trundle Bed

Bedroom 2: Queen Bed

Living Area: 1 Queen Sofa-bed



Cooper House:

Bedroom 1: King Bed and Twin Trundle

Bedroom 2: Queen

Living Area: 1 Queen Sofa-bed



Per the official City of Charleston Short Term Rental ordinance, the property must NOT be occupied by "more than four (4) unrelated people". This does NOT apply to families.



This rental is fully legal and licensed with the City of Charleston: STR Permit OP2025-06299 and OP2025-06398 and Business License BL020706-07-2020 and BL020705-07-2020.



Guest Access:

Each of our vacation rentals is accessed by a keyless door code for ease of entry, and allows for a zero-interaction check-in/check-out process. A door code specific to each guests’ stay will be provided the day prior to your check-in. If you have any questions about directions or access to the property, our team would be happy to assist.

Complimentary coffee, cream, sugar, to-go cups

Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels)

Shampoo/conditioner/soap

Dish/laundry detergents

Hair dryer/iron/ironing board

The house is located in the heart of the charming and trendy Cannonborough-Elliotborough district of Downtown Charleston. With its friendly neighbors, cozy restaurants, and tree-lined streets, our neighborhood will immerse you in Charleston's classic charm. This house is perfect for a family or group seeking a fun and or relaxing vacation. The culinary scene for which Charleston has become so famous is just steps away. The fantastic restaurants, shopping, and nightlife of Upper King Street are close enough to walk, but far enough to not keep you up all night.



Getting Around:

You can walk anywhere and everywhere in Charleston, but just in case, here is a list of the top transportation services:



The DASH trolley is free in Charleston. There are 3 routes, and two of the routes have stops just blocks from this property. More information can be found with the route map on the DASH website.



Uber & Lyft (generally less than $10 anywhere on the downtown peninsula)

Please Note: There is ongoing city and corporate construction nearby. This is an external project not associated with Curated Vacation Properties. While it’s outside our control, we want guests to be aware that there may be some noise or activity in the area due to its close proximity to the home.



🚫 Pets are NOT Allowed:

As much as we love furry companions, pets are not allowed at this property. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. If a pet and/or pet evidence is found at the home we reserve the right to charge a $150/pet fee.



🚫 This is a 100% smoke-free property.

Smoking is strictly prohibited indoors. A fine will be charged ($300) for any in-room smoke evidence. If you wish to smoke, please do so at least 10 feet away from the building outdoors.



🧳 Luggage Drop-Off:

We are pleased to offer our guests convenient luggage storage through our partnership with Charleston Bag Valet, a trusted local provider. This service allows you to securely drop off your luggage before check-in or after check-out, so you can explore and enjoy your time in Charleston without the inconvenience of carrying your bags. Please note that additional fees apply for this service.



🏙️ Noise Notice:

Our home is in a vibrant neighborhood just steps from King Street’s dining and nightlife. While that energy is part of the experience, city noise may be heard. Please be advised that:

⭐️ A local noise ordinance is in effect from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

⭐️ Guests must be respectful of neighbors during these hours.

⭐️ We do not offer refunds for noise-related issues that are to be expected of the location.

⭐️ By booking, you acknowledge and accept this city setting and the potential for ambient noise.



🧑‍🔧 To help us ensure a great stay, guests must allow us the chance to address any issues during their visit.

Refunds will not be issued for concerns reported after checkout or when resolution efforts are declined.



🏠 We do not control neighboring properties and cannot offer refunds due to dissatisfaction with external factors.



🔌 We do not provide refunds for utility outages or service interruptions that are outside of our control.



❄️ Charleston homes are built for a subtropical climate, and since many are older, severe cold snaps may affect both water temperature and indoor heating.



🧹 If damage or excessive cleaning is required after checkout, we reserve the right to charge an additional fee equivalent to a full cleaning.



🚗 Please note that we cannot assume responsibility for vehicles parked outside the designated parking areas.



🚫 Please note that we will not make exceptions to the cancellation policy associated with your reservation.



🌀 Hurricane Policy / Extenuating Circumstances:

⭐️ In the event that a Mandatory Evacuation Order is issued for our county by the Governor of South Carolina during your stay, we will provide a full refund of all payments made.

⭐️ If no such order is issued, our standard cancellation policy remains in effect, even if weather elsewhere impacts your travel plans.

⭐️ We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance, especially during hurricane season, for added peace of mind.

Perfect house for our stay!

This house proved to be perfect for our long weekend stay! The property managers were extremely responsive to any and all questions that I had. They were accommodating and were quick to address any issues we faced such as ensuring we had the appropriate WiFi information and finding an after hours HVAC technician to help with an AC problem. We got worried when the AC unit would not turn back on in mid-July, but they worked diligently to call around and find someone to address it ASAP and the house cooled down quickly. They did what they could to accommodate check-in and check-out time, which we were very grateful for. The house itself is beautiful and spacious, and nicely maintained. It was the perfect location for us and we were able to walk to many of our destinations! Would highly recommend!
