What a beautiful historic property! Perfect for our large group. We rented both unit A&B. Great walking distance to restaurants and King Street. We really enjoyed our stay!
Everything was wonderful! Clean, well stocked. Except parking. We were given a lot of conflicting information about parking because we had more than two cars. Maybe put that in your review that only two cars and if more than that, what they should do.
We all enjoyed our stay and recommend this listing for folks who love historical homes, want a convenient location to lots of areas and a walkable neighborhood.Well appointed and had comfortable beds and furniture.
We had a couple of issues upon arrival, but a maintenance man arrived within 30 minutes of my phone call to the property management company, which is extremely impressive. He was so nice and resolved everything very quickly. The house was perfect for our group of nine women, with plenty of living space for us to gather together. And, it was actually advantageous to have the house broken up into two separate apartments so that those who wanted to sleep in could stay upstairs and then join the early risers in the downstairs living room when ready. The neighborhood used to be undesirable, but is now comprised of college students and VRBOs. There are a couple of really nice coffee shops within a few blocks and the sites on King Street are within an easy Uber ride or 20 minute walk.
We had a wonderful time at the home and communication was excellent. The only note I wanted to make for future travelers is that this was 2 units next to each other. From the description we had assumed we would be in 1 house. It worked OK for our group but could make a difference for someone else. Everything with the home was clean, beautiful, and the location was ideal! Thank you for a great stay!
