Come enjoy a relaxing getaway in beautiful East Texas! Plenty of space to spread out and relax, with outdoor areas and a 3700 sq ft house on 5 acres. Enjoy the views from the front porch, relax on the screened in back porch, or kick back poolside. Saltwater pool is enjoyed from May-October as a nice break from the heat! Next to the pool are fire pits and an outdoor kitchen for grilling, pizzas or hibachi-style cooking. Upstairs, watch a movie on the big screen in the theater room with power recliners and projector or play pool or arcade games in the game room. Located just across I20 from the Texas Rose Horse Park, and an easy 15-30 minute drive to Canton, Tyler, Lindale, Van or Mineola, for all the shopping and dining you could want! Your hosts are happy to share recommendations for local spots if you’re looking to get out and about!
We also have an on-site caretaker/cohost (residing in separate guest house) available for any last minute needs or questions.

We were in town for an equestrian jumping show at the event center nearby and it could not have been a more perfect location! We were grateful to get to stay there! If we ever go back to this event center, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

I fell in love with this house and location. The master bedroom shower is pretty awesome. The salt water pool was perfect. Our stay was better than expected. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay again.

The property was everything and more than we expected from the description and photos. Host was communicative in advance of stay. We didn’t have questions during the stay because it seems she thought of everything! We all loved the fancy shower in the master suite which we hadn’t noticed in the photos. The teens really liked the media room and game room. The kitchen was nicely outfitted with everything we needed which was great since we cooked most meals.

What an amazing property and stay! We had a group of nine of us and had an incredible time! Communication from Nicole was prompt and pleasant from before we booked through the stay! We stayed for 5 nights and it was a great home base the area, but honestly we had such an enjoyable time just being at the property and spending time together! The outdoor kitchen and the pool are absolutely amazing. Inside the kitchen is well equipped, and we ended up ordering delivery from the Wal-mart in Lindale for groceries (and what a great perk that the host told us about!) The main living area is large and a nice place to gather inside, right next to the kitchen and dining room. Large TVs in the living room and master bedroom (although we didn't watch much).The area is quiet and lovely. Quick access to interstate 20 to get into Dallas, and close enough to Tyler for a great choice of restaurants and shopping, as well as small town shopping in Mineola. While this may not be something that affects everyone, we travel with an adult member of our family with significant disabilities, and it's not always easy to find good properties to stay at to meet their needs. We had to bring a lot of medical equipment and supplies, and there was plenty of room! They're in a wheelchair and were able to access the entire home and patio area (except the media room). At grade entry from the garage and doorways wide enough to accommodate.We hope to return soon! Highly recommended!

Gorgeous, quiet getaway

We had a wonderful family vacation at this house. The amenities were perfect. The neighborhood is quiet and picturesque, especially with the donkeys and longhorns next door. One day we got to see a fawn. We enjoyed relaxing, swimming, and family game times. It was a fabulous place to stay.

It was a awesome place..really enjoyed the stay but the only thing I would have changed is the lady staying on property is actually 20 ft from pool and we werent aware that the pool closed at 10 ..we had planned to let kids swim late and that was a disappointment..overall the stay was good

I’m sorry if she was a bother to you in anyway - she tries to stay out of the way but be available for guests if needed - and for the misunderstanding about the pool. Quiet hours (for the sake of her and neighbors) begin at 11pm, not 10pm, as stated online and in the house book.

Perfect family reunion

We had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for our families to stay together and everything from the kitchen items to the bath and pool items made our stay so convenient and perfect! One of the best things was there were plenty of towels for everyone! Some rentals don’t provide enough but this one did. In addition to that, the host was very communicative and helpful.

Beautiful East Texas Retreat

The property was even BETTER than the pictures! It is a spacious home outfitted with truly comfortable furniture and high quality linens. The host went above & beyond to ensure we were accommodated and cared for during our stay. The pool was refreshing and I loved the large kitchen fully stocked with utensils, serving trays, pans, etc. We would recommend and love to return!

Nice, relaxing getaway!

When we were looking for a place to stay we knew we wanted an entire house, a private pool, and fun for a 6-year-old and 16-year-old. This place did not disappoint! We loved the pool and movie theater. The outdoor kitchen/grilling area was also amazing! Laura, the on-site co-host, was so helpful when we needed to restock some supplies and the other host, Nicole, was quick to respond to our tech questions and needs! We brought all the food/ingredients we needed for meals, so we wouldn’t have to leave the house at all…until we saw there was a candy store in town! Such a sweet surprise! The location, amenities, and hosts all made this a 10/10 vacation spot!

Our group of 9 thoroughly enjoyed Nicole’s beautiful home while we were in town for a wedding! The home was clean and comfortable. We're native Texans who've called this beautiful property home for over 6 years. We love traveling and staying in rental properties when we’re on the go. While we are spending some time away for work these days, we wanted to share it with others who wanted to enjoy the quiet country life.
Our co-host (mom) lives in the guest house on property and you can have as much or as little interaction as you'd like, with quick assistance available to meet any needs that arise.

The home is in a peaceful, quiet area with large lots, nice walking areas, and livestock and wildlife all around. It's an easy drive to any of the nearby towns, but tucked away enough to enjoy a taste of country life.
