● This second floor condo has 960 sq ft of living space plus a balcony.
● Fully furnished and equipped, comfortable and clean. A/C in bedrooms, ceiling fans throughout, kitchen appliances, washer and dryer, all linens, beach towels, beach mats, 2 beach lounge chairs.
● Queen size bed in one bedroom, two twin beds in the other bedroom. All beds are clean and very comfortable.
● One full bathroom with shower plus a second half-bathroom.
● Includes cable TV, Internet and Wi-Fi. Two local cell phones provided that can be topped up at the Max Store.
● Condo complex has a small pool and Jacuzzi.
● Six minute walk to the fabulous Maxwell Beach.
● 20 minute walk to Oistins, famous for its Friday night Fish Fry with entertainment and a 20 minute walk along Maxwell Beach to St. Lawrence Gap’s night clubs and restaurants.
● Taxi stand across the road.
● Two minute walk to bus stop. Local fare costs $2 Bds. Buses run frequently to Oistins, Bridgetown, etc.

Wonderful clean apartment across the street from an amazing bech

Very comfortable and pretty 2 bedroom 1 1/2 bathroom apartment in a three building complex with a swimming pool. The host gratiously left us essentials upon arrival so that we didn’t have to run to the grocery store right away. Patrick the manager was very helpful and kind. Would stay here agin anytime!

Great experience

This property delivered and the description provided on vrbo was 100 percent accurate. The host thoughfully provided ample breakfast items which made things easy for us as we settled in. Would recommend to anyone looking for comfort, value and good location. There a beach within 2 mins walking distance and another one 5 mins away.....both very nice!!.

Great stay

Lovely spacious apartment, close to the beach and anything else you could want. Walking distance to Oistins fish market and Miami Beach The property is well kept and stocked with beach chairs etc. Running water can be an issue during the day, so keep lots in the fridge

Fabulous!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time a Paul’s apartment. The location was perfect with easy access to the little beach across the road and the main road for access to the rest of the island by bus or taxi van. The apartment was well equipped and there was a welcome pack in the fridge to get us started. I can thoroughly recommend a stay at Vervan.

Amazing place

Loved this place .Patrick the manager was a nice guy. Greeted us. Condo is very well equipped. Proximity to busses was great. Clean unit inside and out. I would book again and stay here . Beach is 2 minute walk outside . Pool in complex . Really fun to see the monkeys playing in the morning . Bajan people are friendly and kind . Communication fromOwner was quick . No issues at all. Relaxing time in a pleasant condo

We were impressed with how well stocked the condo was; they really thought of everything. The place was very clean, Patrick was very helpful, the neighborhood was very quiet, and it was conveniently located to restaurants, etc. I would have enjoyed a little softer mattress, but we still slept well in the air conditioned bedroom. There were four of us staying together. Our friends enjoyed sitting on the balcony for their morning coffee. I would definitely recommend this condo.

We had a fantastic time! The condo was clean, well equipped and so close to all amenities. Great location. 20 minute walk to Oistins for groceries at Massey’s and fish market. You won’t get fresher fish than this. From our condo and a 3 minute walk to bus stop, we caught the bus to Accra beach, our favorite spot in Barbados. You rent beach chairs and beach umbrellas for cheap. Check out Oasis Beach Bar while you’re there. Joan makes the best rum punch on the island. We loved our stay at Vervan and Patrick was always around if you needed him.

Absolute gem of an apartment

We spent 2 weeks at the Vervan Condos and what a time we had. The apartment has everything you could possibly need from adapter plugs, to insect repellent, beach chairs and beds, towels, books, games and everything in between. It was clean, spacious, and is a 2 minute walk from the beach as well as having access to the pool, my son spent about 5 hours a day in enjoying immensely. The buses run regularly from the top of the road so we had access into St Laurence Gap, Oistins and Bridgetown for a small fee. Patrick the property manager was fab and gave advice on where to go as well as fixing any issues that we had. Upon arrival we were supplied with a basic supplies package consisting of milk, butter, cheese, bread etc which was greatly appreciated, along with other basic supplies such as salt, pepper, coffee, sugar etc. We could not fault the apartment or host, the only issue we had was with water pressure and a lack of it at certain times of the day which made showering a lengthy task, but this was an issue for all properties and not something in the control of Paul / Patrick. We will definitely be booking again for next year if this place is available as we had an amazing time.

Peaceful, Spacious and Comfortable.

Patrick the property manager was waiting on arrival to provide a showover. Some basic food requirements had been provided for (In my case GF bread, spread and Oatmilk) a nice gestureto start the holiday. The kitchen was fully equipped for upto 4 people, The living dining area was comfortably laid out and both bedrooms were spacious with plenty of wardrobe and drawers. Although I travelled alone a family of four would have plenty of room in this condo which is one of the largest I have stayed in on my visits to Barbados (5 Visits previously) and best equipped including beach chairs, Towels etc. The balcony was nice in the mornings with the sun on that side to have my Breakfast. The outlook from the balcony isn't the best as it looks out to a Hotel Carpark although you can see how close the local quiet beach is which can be viewed diagonally to the right of the balcony. Public transport is a 5 min walk away and taxis are quite often parked at the hotel next door. Incidently the hotel is a quiet one which is worth considering. Buying any shopping or water requires a short trip out to the Supermarkets to stock up. there are some local restaurants within walking distance, however much more are available in St. Lawrence The Gap Strip or Oistins. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this Condo and happy to recommend it to others, If I decide to go back to this part of Barbados next year again I would be happy to book this condo for my next trip.

Beaches & Turtles & Horses

My husband & I just spent 12 wonderful, sunny hot days in Barbados. Paul's condo is lovely and convenient. Nice to be a 15 minute walk to the large grocery store in Oistins, as we didn't want to eat every meal out. We walked to the Gap on three occasions to eat. Had dinner at Sharky's (yummy coconut shrimp) and try Bliss Cafe for breakfast or lunch. Excellent waffles and panini sandwiches. Beautiful fresh juices. If you like Mexican, try Cafe Sol in the Gap as well. Pretty view. Of course, if you are there on a Friday, the Fish Fry in Oistins is a must. If you don't like crowds, go on a night other than Friday. We spent a nice morning on the beach in Oistins and had lunch at Surfers Cafe. Sit on the terrace overlooking the beach if you can. Only two tables though. We did most of our swimming at the little beach across the road, which is so convenient. Pick up a roti from the food truck in front Bougainvillea Beach Resort down the road and have lunch on Maxwell Beach. Our of our two highlights was swimming with the turtles. Charles is the best guide and really knows his stuff. Excellent instruction if you've never snorkelled before and he provides the gear, if you don't have any. We probably swam with 25 turtles. Exploring the wrecks was fun too and we got to watch Charles free dive 50 meters!!! He'll arrange a driver to pick you up and drop you off after the tour. Better to call him to arrange a tour. Only takes 8 at a time. http://www.cliffsharker.com/en/ Second highlight was seeing the horses swimming. We had Bertie pick up at 5:45am and drive us into Bridgetown to Carlisle Bay to see the race horses having their morning wash and swim. Such a beautiful sight. You can walk up to the Garrisson Savannah Race Track as well. Just follow a horse and handler after their swim. After seeing the track and a few jockeys out with their horses, we had the breakfast buffet at the Raddisson overlooking the beach. After breakfast, we walked down the beach and rented chairs for the morning. Beautiful beach with crystal clear, calm water. Just perfect for swimming. Before heading back to the condo, we had lunch on the beach at Lobster Alive. Very good! One thing we didn't squeeze in was a Safari Tour to the other side of the island. Wish we had but we are such beach bums!! Drink lots of water!! Thanks again Paul. Will definitely recommend for people like us who are not interested in all inclusive resorts. Gemütlich eingerichtete Wohnung, angenehme Größe. Alles da was man benötigt.Küche sehr gut ausgestattet mit Filterkaffeemaschine . Der Hausverwalter Patrick hat uns sehr herzlich begrüßt und alles erklärt. Außerdem waren Lebensmittel für das erste Frühstück im Kühlschrank. Leider gibt es den Minimarkt in der Nähe nicht mehr, die nächste Option ist der Massy, ca 20min zu Fuß. Es gibt aber auch gute Busverbindung, Linie 3 oder 11 von der Hauptstrasse. Das Restaurant gegenüber ist auch eine Empfehlung wert. Die Betten waren sehr komfortable. Vielen Dank für den netten Aufenthalt.

Totally recommend this place

It was a beautiful, comfortable apartment with everything we needed.The beds were really comfortable, excellent AC.Brilliant location, only 5 min to gorgeous beach and easy walk to Oistins and The Gap. We delayed our trip home due to covid and owner Paul couldn't have been more helpful.And a big shout out to Patrick who managed the place ,he couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

Much further from the Gap than advertised. No hot water after the first 4 days

The property is lovely, however I was disappointed in some areas. Tepid water from day 4. No A/C in the living area with ineffective fans. No mosquito netting on back door so if you wanted a through breeze you had to put up with bites. I did not feel that it was appropriate to have warnings regarding the use of the A/C with threats to deduct from your deposit if overused. On the plus side, very comfortable and inviting. Lots of amenities, very clean and welcoming.

Maxwell beach...home away from home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Paul's condo. It had all the amenities of home and it was close to a beautiful beach area. There were many restaurants within an easy walk. Everyone was very friendly and accomodating in Barbados and the property management was excellent. We met many other visiting Canadians staying at the property. We started up our own happy hour from 4 to 6 every day at the pool and had a great time networking over our daily travels. A must do adventure is to use the local ZR buses to get around! We are looking forward to returning in the future.

Good property

Apartment was nice, clean and well maintained. Has everything you need even had some things that you may have forgotten. I had a great time in Barbados. There is a beach across the street but I didn't use much. I rented a car and went to other local beaches. The pool on property is a bit small but will suffice for a quick dip to cool off. All in all would visit again and stay at the property.

Great value!

We stayed 10 days in June 2016 and found the apartment easily based on Paul's directions and our earlier familiarity with the area. Patrick, the local property manager was there show us the property and all its features. The property is very well equipped with everything needed to enjoy a lovely vacation of this beautiful island. A short walk across an open lot opposite the property gives you access to a pretty little beach which we had to share with at most two or three other people at a time. The vacant lot had some large trees which provided shade on the beach at almost anytime of the day. During our stay, the pool and outdoor showers on the property allowed for a cool and refreshing rinse after a salt water swim. Paul provides excellent information about the island and also the amenities of the immediate area - guests staying here are well advised to follow his recommendations - particularly the Surfer's cafe in Oistins - just opposite the Massy grocery store - good and reasonably priced food in a setting over the water than cannot be surpassed. The only drawback to the apartment was the lack of air-conditioning in the living area. Both bedrooms are well served with AC units but the main living area is serviced by floor and ceiling fans. The fans keep the air flowing and the balcony cools off nicely in the evening. Beds were extremely comfortable. All in all, a very good apartment in a very good location along the south coast of Barbados and we can easily recommend this unit for family and friends for its value and amenities. Excellent stay in a great Location

Stayed here for a week in February. It was our first visit to Barbados. Paul was extremely helpful from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for more. The property had everything we could want. Well furnished and very clean. It was also only a 2 minute walk to a secluded and beautiful beach. Plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. I will definitely be staying here again.

Great location, very comfortable property, coming back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this condo, all the comforts of home with warm weather a bonus. Clean, comfortable quiet unit as described, Thanks Paul you were very easy to deal with and kept us well informed and provided good advice. Patrick the contact person in Barbados was exceptional to deal with, very very helpful and seem to have all the answers when we had questions. We really enjoyed the beach that is in the photos, took advantage of the beach chairs, noodles and the mats nearly every day. We were usually the only ones on the beach during the week, Sundays and one holiday there were others having a BBQ or gathering in the parking lot area but no concerns at all. Water was warm, clear and refreshing. We did take advantage of some of the restaurants nearby, Charlies was an "adventure" but food was okay, the Crouton nearby was having issues with most items on the menu not available and this we heard was often a problem. We had a fantastic meal at the Bougainvillea Lanterns by the Sea and took advantage of the Happy hour at their bar from 430-530. Oistens was fun, we went on Friday and Sunday, Pats Place and Mojo's were good. Would recommend purchasing fresh fruits, eggs, baked goods, and veggies at the roadside stands vs the super mart, better quality and prices. If you love snack food be prepared for an $18 Cdn bag of tortilla chips and a $12 can of Pringles, some of the food prices are unbelievable, but we did a lot of cooking of breakfasts at the condo and the occasional supper as well, all the necessary tools are in the condo. We didn't take advantage of the pool on the property much as we basically lived on the beach. Took local bus to Speisetown again an adventure especially when school gets out....bus seats 30 but holds 70. Did a day taxi tour of the whole island, was great about $150USD but well worth the cost. We really felt safe and comfortable on the property and would definitely recommend ti to anyone as long as you weren't going to be there when we want to go back.....so Shhhhhh, keep this place a secret. Again thanks Paul (and Patrick) See you next year.

Perfect Location.

The owners, Paul and Rita, are very kind people. So accommodating and genuinely cared about our comfort and enjoyment. The condo itself, was fully stocked with all you will need and more. It is a lovely condo 2 minutes from a very private beach. Most times you are there, unbothered, by others. Perfect location. It also comes with access to the Beach Club next door that provides chairs and umbrellas but Paul had provided us with beach loungers that were perfect to take to our own beach across the street. Thank you for an amazing place Paul and Rita and Patrick (the manager of the property). You have a lovely home and we cannot wait to return. At the risk of creating competition for this property, I must say, it was perfect. I highly recommend this property. Thanks for everything.
