Beautiful and charming cottage located right on the creek! The host was very welcoming and even checked in on us right away when there was a brief power outage due to a storm.
Everything was very nice. Rooms inside and the outside fit all our needs. The kids liked the yard and creek. Our host answered our questions promptly and also checked to make sure we found everything. We would definitely stay here again.
Lovely stay for our family of 8. Very well thought out amenities and lots of room inside and out. The kids and adults enjoyed the stream. Quiet area within 5 minutes drive of the beautiful town in Ligonier where there is a large grocery store and lots of shops and restaurants.
Beverly is a wonderful host and very good with her communication about everything dealing with the house. The house was well kept and perfect location for a quiet stay of any kind and perfect access to the creek that runs by the property. Will definitely book this house again for our annual trip to Ligonier!
The beautiful home was spotless and comfortable. The combined family room and dining area was perfect for our family gatherings. They provided a crib, high chair and even toddler utensils for our little one. The power strips for charging electronics and plentiful lamps for good lighting were appreciated. We enjoyed wading in the creek and watching the ducks. The only downsides were the upstairs was a bit too warm as the AC had trouble pushing enough cold air up there. There were several dehumidifiers to keep it comfortable but they were pretty loud. The water dispenser on the fridge was too slow to be useful and we had to purchase gallons of water for drinking. We reported the water filter light was indicating it needed replacing but a new one was not available. Hopefully once they get that fixed guests won’t need to bring their own drinking water. The host was quick to respond to my questions and overall a very nice and relaxing weekend with the family!
We were in ligonier for a wedding weekend. I wish we could have spent more time at the property. Lovely area I would like to return and spend more "down" time to appreciate the yard and sunporch. Definitely would like a getaway just to enjoy.
The property was perfect for our family. The house was very clean and the rooms were spacious and open for what we needed. The outdoor space was great as well, as we enjoyed spending time outdoors. The property owner was very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay here again.
My children and I enjoyed a wonderful stay in this spacious and beautiful home. The bitter winter temps didn't allow us to fully make use of the expansive outdoor areas and creek access, but we hope to visit again in summer.
This was a delightful place to stay. The property was WONDERFUL for children. It had a huge yard and a very nice creek for the kids to play in. They absolutely loved it. The house is older with a lot of character and located in a quiet neighborhood.

Thank you Caitlin! So glad your family the house and yard! You are welcome back to Creekside anytime.
We spent the weekend fishing on the creek for opening day of trout. It was a beautiful day. The house was nice and accommodated us all. Will definitely stay again.
We needed the house last minute and the owner was very responsive. The grounds were beautiful the stream with a fire pit. Unfortunately we didnt get to use it much because of a snow storm but it was very convenient to a Giant Eagle and restaurants
Very cute cottage, loved it! The house was beautiful and cozy. A lot of extra blankets and pillows. Only complaint is that it is very close to neighbors, so if you are planning to have a fire keep that in mind.
Great, secluded home with all the needed amenities. Very responsive and accommodating host. The four bedrooms were great for our family and it’s close enough to Ligonier and Lee trough that the seclusion is a benefit biggest drawback is there is only one TV and it’s very small.

Excellent Location
We had such a great time here. The house is amazing. You feel at home as soon as you walk in. It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Everything you need is there. The pictures don't do it any justice. It was so much better than what the pictures show. It's in a good location for the attractions in the area and close to town for food and shopping. The owner was quick to answer questions. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for a great trip.

Overall we had a great stay... One major issue is the staircase. It is extremely slippery. My son-in-law fell down an entire flight holding his 2 year old son. Thankfully the baby was not injured because his Dad took the brunt of the fall. There needs to be carpet treads on the stairs. One minor inconvenience but not a deal breaker is that the upstairs bath does not have any electrical outlets, a nuisance but not unexpected in an older home. The home is lovey, had enough space for my 8, well stocked with all necessities. Will definitely recommend and/ or stay again.

Thank you for your feedback. We are putting non-skid runners on the stairs so there won't be any more slips in the future. We hope you come again!
