It may sound as if you are far from everything but a realistic 8 min drive to the beach or national park is hardly a price to pay for such tranquility and beauty. Located on the exclusive El Salto Estate of Manuel Antonio you will enjoy the benefits of this high end gated community: Private paths for hiking and your morning exercises, security, exclusivity ā€¦
With 5000 sq feet of space, your friends or family will enjoy all areas of the villa . The spacious shaded balcony will no doubt be the main hangout area inviting you into the infinity edge pool. The kitchen & living area flow perfectly into the outside space with its comfortable loungers, outside dinning space hammock and BBQ area. How strange that the ocean breeze punctually seems to impose itself just around mid morning when you need it most ? The villa always feels fresh and breezy.
We have taken time to select the best orthopedic beds with soft cotton sheets which a villa of this type demands. Each bedroom has a king size bed, fans and AC. The lounge area is perfect with 3 comfortable sofas, a 50ā€ Satellite TV with over 200 channels. The fully equipped kitchen is open plan and occupies the center of the social area. If you decide to select the chef service option you will be spoiled with fantastic cuisine depending on your choice. We also understand that doing cleaning is not on your list during your stay which is why we will take care of that on a daily basis. Laundry can be done for you every other day. Our laundry room cannot be used by guests as this is our store room too. Our staff are well trained to look after you so just relax and enjoy life ....

Beautiful villa with an amazing host. We lost my daughterā€™s necklace down the sink and while we were gone on an excursion the host came to the house and found the necklace for us. We are so grateful and had the most amazing experience in the most beautiful home. We will definitely be coming back!

This home is absolutely stunning! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and how seamlessly the house blends into the natural beauty of Costa Rica. Every morning, we woke up to the sound of nature and were greeted by wildlife right outside our doorā€”two different types of monkeys, vibrant toucans, and even beautiful red macaws. It felt like staying inside a private rainforest paradise. THE PICTURES DONT DO THIS PLACE JUSTICE.The property itself is spotless and beautifully maintained. The maid service was phenomenalā€”she not only kept the home immaculate but also did all of our laundry every other day, at no additional cost. This was such an unexpected and appreciated touch, especially while traveling with a family.The house manager, Naty, was a dream to work with. She was responsive, kind, and made everything seamless for us. The owners were incredibly flexible and went out of their way to accommodate us in ways they absolutely didnā€™t have to, which we truly appreciated.For reference we had 2 families. (2) 4 year old girls, a 6 year old boy and 7 year old boy with 4 adults. We felt totally safe with the kids in the pool by themselves. Every detail of this home felt thoughtful and elevated, from the design and comfort to the service and surroundings. If you are looking for a luxury experience in the heart of nature, this is it. We didnā€™t want to leave and canā€™t wait to return!

Check-in was seamless. We called Naty, our hostess when we were near the house and she met us there to explain every detail of the house, from using the key, AC, layout, maid schedule and services available to us such as laundry daily, grocery delivery and tour arrangements. (The zip line tour was a huge hit)!The kitchen had everything we needed for our party of 9. It was great to be able to cook and grill for ourselves. However, three nights, Naty arranged for a private chef, Chef Randy, to come in and cook for us. Would highly recommend hiring him. His food was amazing and it allowed our party the chance to truly enjoy our evening together, no cooking, no cleaning up and delicious foods!The views are spectacular and we loved our afternoon swims in the pool. We had our 10 year old niece and our 2 year old granddaughter with us and the pool was a definite plus, especially the sun shelf where the little one could splash around.It was a 10 minute drive to town, a little off the eaten path, but we were close enough to restaurants, the marina and shopping, and again, the views over the valley were beautiful. So quiet and secluded, we had only to share the view with the monkeys and the great variety of birds.We had a wonderful stay!

Wow!!!

Wow...what a wonderful stay! We can not express enough how amazed we were with our experience at this house and overall trip to Costa Rica. The house is beautiful, very spacious even for our large party, amazing views and comfortable beds. The daily cleaning service as well as laundry option were an awesome bonus. The property manager Naty was fantastic. She was always very responsive and attentive to our party. She assisted us every step of the way from airport pick up/drop off, grocery shopping, to restaurant/chef's recommendations to tour bookings. We've hired Chef Randy to cook 2 dinners and 1 breakfast at the house. He bought the groceries, managed to satisfy our dietary needs, cooked the most delicious meals, and left our kitchen spotless. We had the most fantastic trip and would definitely recommend to anyone that loves outdoor activities. We can not wait to come back!

Casa El Salto is an extraordinary place to stay! Yes, the views are amazing, the house is very spacious and comfortable, the wildlife experience on property will delight you, but it is the concierge service that sets this vacation experience apart from all others! Natalia was extremely friendly and accommodating and catered to every need family of 6, ages 19). She was very responsive and offered us tips on restaurants and beaches you wouldnā€™t find elsewhere, and booked horseback riding and ATV excursions for us (fourtrax). If you can hire chef Randyā€™s services for one or more meals, it will be an unforgettable dining experience. You must visit Nauyaca waterfalls, well worth the trek. Our trip was in early June at the beginning of the rainy season-mornings were sunny and rain in afternoon did not damper any of our plans. We preferred being able to make last minute plans which youā€™re not able to do as much in high season. All around, one of our familyā€™s best vacations ever. Costa Rica is beautiful and the people are very friendly! Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible!

We loved every single thing about this amazing house! Natalia, the property manager, is beyond helpful. She provided so many great recommendations- fishing charter, waterfall/hanging bridges excursions, in home private chef, restaurants, and grocery delivery. She answered every single (and there were many) question I had. The views from the house are breathtaking, beds are very comfortable, kitchen is well stocked with necessities for cooking, and it was such a treat to have a housekeeper clean and do the laundry every other day. Highly recommend this incredible property and we would love to stay here again!

Best house in Manual Antonio!

We loved our stay so much. The pictures of the house do not do it justiceā€”the house was even better than expected. The view is beautiful and there is a view from every single bedroom. We also felt very safe. The house is located on a road that has a gate (you need a code to open the gate). The house comes with an amazing property manager, Naty. She coordinated everything for us and it was like having a built in local friend who could tell you all the best tours and restaurants and steer you away from things that werenā€™t ideal. We booked all our tours through Naty and she got us the best tour guides, the best tours, and recommended excellent restaurants. There is a daily cleaning lady who is lovely and diligent. She does any laundry you need her to do and thoroughly cleans the house each day. It felt like a little vacation from cleaning and laundry! Naty also recommended a chef for us to use for a private dinner. Chef Randy! The food was incredible!When one of our tour guides picked us up (a local from Quepos) he said that this villa was his favorite villa in the area with the best view. The house was well air conditioned and cool. I had read a review saying that the house was programmed for no ac during the day. That isnā€™t true. If you are home and key is on the key holder, the AC is blasting. Amazing vacation in an amazing house!

7 of us (grandparents/mom/dad/3 kids 13 yrs & 11yr twins. Sleeping arrangements excellent - separate bedroom was perfect! The pool is breathtaking - the view amazing. Photos do not do it justice!! The home is beautiful. The bedrooms are downstairs - but separate bedroom is on main level for older people. Naty the house manager was such a sweet lady and so helpful with reservations and suggestions. She purchased our grocery list and it was delivered and put away upon our arrival. Tamara the housekeeper was AMAZING, she made the beds and cleaned the house daily and did our laundry. We also hired Chef Randy for the most amazing meals, breakfast and dinner. He is so accommodating, and very personable. We enjoyed our meals so much!! He also cleaned up when we finished eating. We have already planned out next trip to this house. It was the most amazing 8 days ever!!

A Serene Beauty

There were 6 of us (3 married couples) for this years Friends & Family trip and it was absolutely amazing. The people, the culture, the food and experiences made this a trip for the books. We all agreed that this is a trip worth coming back. The villa looked exactly like the pictures. It was beautiful. Walking outside or looking outward through the wide patio doors into the morning surmise or sunset is picturesque. We ALL felt a sense of calmness and peace here, even when we went on the excursions. Natalia, the house manager was a gem! Iā€™ve been working with her for several months planning this trip and she was knowledgeable and patient. She took care of everything and had resources available to us at our beck Abe call; from the chef (Randy & Michael), housekeeping (Tamara), taxi services (Carlos) and our transportation to/from the airport (Seashells-Randolph &Roberto we had everything we needef, including grocery pickup. Each excursion we went on provided transportation which Natalia took care of all the bookings.The only thing with the house which didnā€™t really bother us too much especially living in Florida is that the AC in the front room is not programmed; however, there are three huge fans that got the job done when we were in kitchen/living room. No major concerns there. The most concerning thing for us is that we felt 100% safe, and we did. This is was a vacationā€¦ a vacation where time stood still, and we felt refreshed. THANK YOU!

Beautiful home, excellent service

This property combined all of the best elements of a home rental AND a hotel. The house was beautiful, with comfortable beds and ample room for all of our guests. The pool and view were lovely and we saw birds and wildlife daily. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was great, and there was no issue running the a/c in the living area as much as we needed. Location was great with easy access to restaurants, beaches, and the national park. The road to the house has some very steep hills, so keep this in mind if you are a person who likes to run or walk - it's a workout! The service from Natalia and Tamara (the housekeeper) was exceptional. Natalia had wonderful recommendations for activities, restaurants, travel, and everything else we needed. All of the guides and drivers she arranged for us were wonderful. We celebrated a birthday by having Chef Luz cook for us at the house, which was delicious and very affordable. Having the daily maid service meant we never had to worry about dishes, or dirty bathrooms, and the daily laundry service was incredible. We were fully spoiled. The house had hand soap, but no shampoo/conditioner/body soap so you might plan to pack some or pick up at the grocery. Beach umbrella is available, but no chairs, We found it easy to rent chairs when needed at the beach, but it would have been nice to have some chairs to take with us. The cooler onsite was great to pack for drinks and snacks at the beach. We loved this property and would absolutely return!

Amazing Luxury and Adventure

We had an absolutely wonderful time at our house in El Salto Estates. The property was fabulous- the best we have ever rented. Having Tamara clean the house and do laundry daily was an added benefit to staying at the already luxurious property. We loved the infinity pool and the spaciousness of the home. Our concierge Naty was always on top of everything, helping us out with a last minute transportation problem at SJO and all throughout the week with any and all questions. She also booked us an amazing horseback riding trip. The week was topped off with a gourmet dinner at home made by Chef Luz. Everything was absolutely outstanding!

Absolute paradise

This house is exactly as advertised and more. The views are stunning. We woke up early every morning to watch the sunrise. The visits from all the wildlife was amazing - we saw monkeys, sloths, macaws, and toucans. The house manager Natalia was extremely helpful in planning excursions and assisting with private chef services. We had breakfast and dinner provided for us a couple days during our stay and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend this house!

Beautiful home, great for our group!

We had a wonderful stay at the propertyā€“it felt clean and spacious and like a true getaway. The surrounding area was beautiful and we were treated to the sounds of animals in the surrounding forest and a few animal visitors, too. The pool is lovely and a much appreciated respite after days out hiking or at the beach. Communication with the house manager was easy and she was always available to answer questions or help with planning. The taxi drivers she connected us with were always prompt and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you!

Dream house!

This was a dream home in Quepos. It was immaculate, beautifully designed and decorated and comfortable for our entire group. The house manager, Natalia, was so helpful from the time we booked through checkout. We had Chef Randy Lopez cook for us and it was the most delicious meal we had. Book this home immediately if you are coming to this area. Memorable vacation and the most amazing home to stay in.

Beautiful view, so much wildlife!

Our family had a wonderful stay here! The house is spacious and comfortable, and the pool is lovely and clean. As a large group with little kids, we really appreciated the daily cleaning service. The biggest highlight for us was definitely the view. The photos don't do it justice. We loved watching all the wildlife that came through--monkeys, a sloth, a baby pygmy owl, and so many birds and butterflies! Naty was very quick to respond to requests and questions and helpful in coordinating activities.

I was born in Belgium and by the age of 11 the 'travelling' began ! I spent 20 year in England which were wonderful but destiny attracted me to this piece of paradise. I met my wife Luz who is Costa Rican and we got married on the Manuel Antonio beach in 2003.
We now have 2 children aged 13 and 4 and feel very much at home in this country.

We enjoy looking after our guests and being onsite in Manuel Antonio has its advantages.
