Very relaxed setting. The views of Sisters along with the warmth of the fire every morning provided the perfect ambiance. There was two bunnies residing on the property and a deer family would occasionally come by for a visit. The host was nice and very responsive when we had a problem with the tv which we so appreciated given the fact he was also vacationing in Europe during our stay. This was our 2nd stay and will definitely be returning Rod & Barb

Communication with Terry was quick and easy. Terry was able to accommodate our requests for early and late check out for this stay. The cots were not usable for our family, but the kids were able to sleep on the couch and it wasn't an issue. The pool was further than expected, but that wasn't a problem for us as we weren't there for the pool. The view on the back deck.... WOW!!! We will definitely look at staying here again if needing a place in this area!

This property is lovely. It had everything you needed for an enjoyable stay. Kitchen is well stocked. Outdoor area is great. Views are amazing. Property owners were easy to communicate with and very nice. Hope to come back again.

Very Nice

The property was everything expected. Very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for our stay was available. The property manager was very helpful with the reservation process as well as changes we needed to make.

Peace, beauty and relaxation

The house is just as described, if not more clean, relaxing and perfect. The decor is very inviting to relax and enjoy Crooked River Ranch, which we did. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the bbq/grill worked perfectly for our steaks. We loved the hot tub, the mountain views in the evening were beautiful and gazing at the stars after dark was fun
and hearing the coyotes howl was a bonus. The bed in the main bedroom was really comfortable, I slept very soundly. The house was very clean and the owners were very responsive even while they were overseas, as was their caretaker/housekeeper. We are hoping to stay again in the near future.

Beautiful view and some time away

We are 4 adult sisters that get together every year and rent a house in the central Oregon area. This house was lovely and well equipped with everything we needed. Hosts made sure everything went smoothly.

Where do I even begin on the perfection of this place! Literally, PERFECTION! Views spectacular, stars at night and comet show in the hot tub after a long day of hiking was a treat. Btw, Smith Rock is only 20 min drive. Please do yourself a favor and SEE IT! Bed was extremely comfortable, has everything you need (even condiments in the fridge which is a rare find and much appreciated). Home was immaculately clean! The master tub I personally loved and enjoyed. Pictures are exactly as shown. The deer visit every morning and evening. Nice six point greeted me the first morning. The trail right in the backyard is GREAT! Very peaceful and quiet neighborhood.I didn’t need any assistance from the owner because everything was so well instructed and researched ahead myself on where to visit. Suggestions..check out Sisters, visit the Faith, Hope, and Charity Vineyard. 100 percent at least visit Smith Rock and if you’re a hiker like myself, DO Misery Ridge Trail, it’s worth it. Steelhead Falls is beautiful and only 13 min away. Excellent for a short trail run to the falls! Saw not one person on it! Now, I drive everywhere when visiting
from the coast to the desert here. Painted Rocks is a must and only 1.5 hours away. Go near sunset and you will thank me! I will be back, heck I’ll be moving here to Oregon next year. However, if you are questioning your options for stays. THIS IS IT!!! I will be back again. The 5 stars and reviews couldn’t be more accurate.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked so making food was easy. The hot tub was such a wonderful bonus. Great views of the sunset and the stars. Would stay here again!

Don't hesitate just rent it!

My first impression after walking in was, 1. It is very cozy and 2. Very clean. The hot tub was amazing. We were lucky enough to see a red lunar eclipse. One thing that was a surprise was. There is a gate that opens up to a walking path. It was a great little walk for my pooch and I. The only that sucked was having to leave.

Cozy Country Getaway

We recently stayed at this wonderful home. Very cozy with breathtaking views. It was perfect for our family of five. The beds are super comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings with amazing views. The hosts responded immediately with any questions. Family wedding

This house was the perfect size for our family to stay as our son lives on the ranch and was getting married. My sisters also live on Peninsula so we could all be together. The host is responsive and great to work with. Everything you need is there and the hot tub with all the stars was wonderful!

We purchased this house in August of 2011 as a vacation get away for our family.
My Father and Mother built the house in the late 90's as their retirement home. In 2008 they sold the house, and when it came back on the market in 2011 we jumped at the chance to bring it back in to the family.
