The property description, photos, map, etc. says it all. The home was very clean, well maintained and equipped. It is in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. and the on-site (off street) parking was a plus. There is a grocery store at the end of the street for food and supplies. We did not need a car other than to go to the nearby fishing dock in Seabrook at Eastman's Docks for a day of great fishing. (five minutes away). They offer all day, half day, night fishing as well as Kayak rental tours and whale watching tours and more in season.
What I liked the most was that the owners, Cheryl and Ted, were very responsive in getting back to me to answer my questions and concerns and to check in on us to make sure everything was OK. They even supply their phone number in the listing so you can spend time talking about the home and getting your concerns addressed "somewhat in person" rather than going back and forth with multiple e-mails.
Check out the Sea Ketch Restaurant on Ocean Blvd for breakfast on multiple outdoor decks overlooking the beach and ocean and Wally's Pub, the next main road over (Ashworth), for a game or two of pool, lunch, drinks, music, sidewalk seating as well as people watching the "old" or "older" gentle giant bikers. Drop into "The Goat" as well. There is a small casino (or 2) that offer table games and slots if that is your pleasure. Finally, there is a miniature golf course, arcade and waterslide within walking distance. Something for everyone !!!!
