Very basic, needs a deep clean and needs updating
Needs updating, various things don't work, likened it to Faulty Towers- curtain rail falls down, various things inc electrical sockets don't work, headboards not fixed to beds/just propped up, place needs a deep clean (skirting boards/areas thick with dust). Outside area dirty and unusable with rickety old furniture.
Showers passable and beds OK although bedding has seen better days.
In terms of the listing - need to remove the word "LUXURY" as that is farcical. Calling the resort "PRESTIGIOUS" is wholly inaccurate.
Good location for access to Parks and walking distance to shops & restaurants.
BIG problem if you don't have a car as pedestrian gates are padlocked and the car gates are unresponsive to pedestrians! So unless there was a car coming/going when we were leaving on foot (which we did A LOT because our daughters were staying in a house nearby) - we had to roll under the gates on the floor!!!!! Utterly ridiculous situation.
Our main issue with this property was that the fob we were provided with DID NOT WORK and had not been checked, even though the rental agent said they knew there was a fault with the fobs/gates access. We arrived on Weds 24th April and immediately reported the fob did not work. It was not until Monday 29th (2 days before we were due to leave!) did the rental agent deliver a working fob. For those 5 days, we had to climb over gates and fences to access the pool. Ridiculous, poor customer care and DO NOT RECOMMEND.
