I stayed at the condo with my adult kids and their families, 4 children, ages 10, 7, 5 and 3. Little kids had a ball in the bunk bedroom, loved sleeping together. The condo was well stocked, in fact we were surprised and happy to find great, sharp knives! We ate mostly at home due to virus.
The light switches and remotes were well labeled so everything easy to use. Netflix was available. Furnishings were clean, comfortable and looked great, very welcoming.
It was also great to have Cobalt restaurant so convenient. Fresh oysters and salty dogs were perfect!
There were 2 issues we had:
The checkin process was painful. I would like to have had communication on process more than the late afternoon of day before check in. Since I hadn’t heard anything different, I assumed check in would be going to registration desk and getting my keys. I had to call Luxury for process. Once I called, they expedited everything but would have been happier to know it ahead of time.
The second issue was really affected by Covid. One reason we selected this unit was tram to beach. My husband has trouble walking far. The tram was not in service due to Covid so we had to pack up 2 cars and turn across very busy highway to get there. Also disappointed with elevator process. People often packed into the elevator with us despite virus.
Overall, we had a great stay and loved Orange Beach.
