A family of friends

We all had an awesome time. We have visited Orange Beach every year for the past 6 years and have tried several different locations. This is by far the best place to stay with kids. 6 adults and 7 kids and everyone was very happy with the unit and the over all resort. Thanks again and we will be back

lots of room

Great place, lots of room. 2 year old and 4 year old loved the water slides. 3 king beds was great for 3 couples. Should paint bathrooms with satin or gloss paint, there were hand prints on the walls. Love the huge living room for family, and media ,room for cartoons for the grandkids.

Great Family Vacation!

We had an amazing family vacation! The condo offered enough space to accommodate our family (6 adults and 4 children) and offered beautiful views and decor. I loved cooking meals for our family in the kitchen. The ice machine came in handy, it was nice not having to purchase extra bags of ice. All of the pools at the Caribe kept our children entertained the entire week. We loved the trolley to the beach! The staff at Luxury Coastal Vacations were great to work with. We can't wait to go back!

Beautiful condo & beautiful view

Our family chose this unit because of the spacious rooms, number of bedrooms & bathrooms. Perfect size for 7 adults & 4 children . The facility was clean. The pools & water slides were great entertainment for the little ones. It was nice the Cobalt restaurant was next door. My husband booked a fishing trip right on site at the Caribe marina. fWe will consider this condo for our next visit to the beach.

Love the Caribe and this unit! Our only complaint was the security guard when we were checking in. He want us to leave and go to the VRBO office even though our instructions told us to go there and where to find the key. We have stayed at the Caribe 3 times. I think this was the best unit!

Wow what a place!!!!

The unit itselft was beautiful not to mention the awesome views. The condo is a corner unit so you get more balcony than most if you like to sit outside. The kitchen was a cooks heaven. All of the decoration was modern and fresh. Each room has it's own TV and DVD, with our 5 kids, that was awesome. The Caribe as a whole was super fun for the kids. The lazy river and all other amenities make it perfect for the family. My husband and I liked that our unit was large and plush. We would stay there again....and recommend this place to our friends.

Great for extended family vacations

When I take the children to the beach this is the place I go. There are plenty of things for the children to do as they love the number of pools in which to choose. I personally love the lazy river. The unit is extremely lovely the pictures do not do it justice it feels like home. The complex is not right on the beach but there is a shuttle that will take you to the beach which is a hike to the gulf but the children love the pools so much there isn't a need to go but once or twice. We have gone during the children's baseball tournament so there are lots of children if that is a concern you might want to check that out.

Very comfortable condo

I stayed at the condo with my adult kids and their families, 4 children, ages 10, 7, 5 and 3. Little kids had a ball in the bunk bedroom, loved sleeping together. The condo was well stocked, in fact we were surprised and happy to find great, sharp knives! We ate mostly at home due to virus. The light switches and remotes were well labeled so everything easy to use. Netflix was available. Furnishings were clean, comfortable and looked great, very welcoming. It was also great to have Cobalt restaurant so convenient. Fresh oysters and salty dogs were perfect! There were 2 issues we had: The checkin process was painful. I would like to have had communication on process more than the late afternoon of day before check in. Since I hadn’t heard anything different, I assumed check in would be going to registration desk and getting my keys. I had to call Luxury for process. Once I called, they expedited everything but would have been happier to know it ahead of time. The second issue was really affected by Covid. One reason we selected this unit was tram to beach. My husband has trouble walking far. The tram was not in service due to Covid so we had to pack up 2 cars and turn across very busy highway to get there. Also disappointed with elevator process. People often packed into the elevator with us despite virus. Overall, we had a great stay and loved Orange Beach.

Great Property for Families

We were a party of 6 adults and 4 kids. The unit itself was fantastic. It was beautiful, spacious, light and airy and you felt outside even when you were inside. The view was incredible. The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked and provided lots of storage. For the resort overall - the parking was an issue the first few days but it was Memorial Day weekend. The resort did their best to accommodate everyone but we were concerned about leaving the resort in fear of not finding another parking spot upon return. Also, luggage carts were seriously scarce when we checked in and the carts aren't your normal luggage cart, but more of a plastic cart better suited for groceries. The tram to the beach was fine and responsive when called for pickup. Getting to the beach is a short walk after you are dropped off if you go the inlet side. If you want to be gulf front, that's a bit of a hike. Fine for most, but could be a challenge for some with health concerns or a lot of stuff to carry. There are bathrooms by the drop off location which is very nice. The pools are beautiful and provided lots of entertainment hours for our kids and adults. Note that they are on different levels, so this wouldn't be as easy for going back and forth if you have really little ones. Ours were older and we had enough adults to split so not an issue for us. Overall, the property was great. It was as advertised and we don't really have any complaints. We did try to include information that we were looking for prior to booking but they aren't complaints - just more informational. We wouldn't hesitate to return.

Spacious condo but needs updating

Condo was spacious the living room area leading into the kitchen was nice and open. The dining table with eight chairs was not of good quality and upon arrival we noticed three were broken. Repairs were done quickly the next day however, glue was used to hold the legs of one and when the repair guy stood the chair up the glue and chair stuck to the floor. In addition to three chairs being broken, they were very dirty! Had several stains, the repair guy did a quick cleaning of the chairs which was an improvement but not what you would expect for almost $4,000 for the week. The living room furniture was dirty and in poor condition, you sank to the floor in one of the couches, and the accent chairs were in need of cleaning as well. The coffee pot broke on day two, it was a cheap Black and Decker and not sure how they expect a condo that accommodates 8-10 guest to hold up against a $25.00 coffee machine. Overall the condo had great views and was spacious but way too far to the ocean and not an easy walk/access if you have young children. The facility (Caribe) was nice and kept clean, several of the outdoor loungers were broken and it was hard to find a decent lounger if you arrived after 11:00am. Parking was a bit confusing upon arrival, the unit C1010 parking spot was on the opposite end of the condo which wasn't a big deal but wasn't efficient when hauling stuff. Not sure why they didn't place the parking spot closest to the elevator that accesses C1010 instead of the opposite end. The access to the Lazy River and large pool was totally inconvenient, if you have strollers be prepared for a lot of inconvenience. You had to take the main elevator to the ground floor, walk down steps into the indoor pool to access another set of elevators that took you to the lazy river. The multiple elevators and walking through the indoor pool was not appealing. The Caribe is a great spot if you have older children, several pools, slides and things to keep them busy. Late in the day the pools became an adult hang-out with several loud radios and portable speakers which was not relaxing. I think security should control this a little better for those that have small children or want to relax on their vacation. Overall, condo needs furniture updating or at the minimum some good cleaning and if you're looking for easy beach access this is not the location.

Family vacation

Property was superb but definitely not up to par cleanliness wise when we arrived. Tubs were dirty as were floors. We cleaned ourselves and then had a great time!

Wonderful listing

13 of us stayed in this condo. Great space as there was so much room. View of the bay and the beach. Could see all the pools and lazy river from the balcony. Very pleased.

Awesome condo

Overall we loved everything about the condo- the location, the layout, even the supplies (kitchen ware/appliance options). We had three family groups (11) people between the kids and parents and we all had space to spread out. Definitely one of our favorite condos on site! The only drawback was that the master bath had a broken shower door and all three toilets had handle issues to work correctly- but the maintenance crew came right away and did their best to get it all to work for our week long stay until parts could be ordered. Very courteous and friendly.

Perfect Vacation!

The Caribe resort is full of things to do. We were constantly finding more things we didn’t know the resort offered! The trolley service to the beach was a wonderful bonus! Now to the unit! It was perfect. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The master shower was the best I’ve ever had! It was beautiful and very equipped for our week away from home! I have nothing whatsoever negative to say! We will be back and hopefully be able to book this condo again!
