This house is a little gem, in a unique setting on Lake Mamanasco, facing an outcropping of rocks in Richardson State Park – a view which is mesmerizing in every season.
There is a huge deck in the front of house, where you can sit, relax, and admire the view—or swim, boat, or fish in the lake. The house has its own dock, and there is a beach a short walk away.
In the back of the house is a small wooded area with a lighted fountain. On the outside, there is also a generator, a storage shed, and an outdoor shower.
The inside of the house almost rivals the outside. Built by an architect, and lived in by an interior designer, there are many interesting and architectural details. Most stunning is the custom designed staircase, framed in glass walls.
The downstairs is an open, fluid area. In the front, you sit on the living room couches, looking at the lake through floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors, or turn toward the fireplace, in winter. You can still see the lake from the dining table, or the fully equipped kitchen.
Upstairs is the master bedroom and bath, with floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors over the lake, and a working fireplace. There are also two smaller bedrooms, and one more full bath.
Overall, this is a quiet and serene place, surrounded by nature, and the neighbors are nice, too!
