Summary:

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at LSU Lakes! We apologize, but this fall guests have to walk around the lakes to get to Tiger Stadium. This will add 20 minutes to the time but it is still walkable.



The Space:

This charming, newly renovated home features 2 bedrooms on the main floor, one with a king bed and attached bathroom and the other with 2 full beds. The sunroom sofa has a pullout queen. The upstairs has 2 full beds and a small pull out sofa.



Guest Access:

Schlage lock, driveway parking.



The Neighborhood:

The neighborhood is very close to LSU Lakes area.



Getting Around:

This fall, guests have to walk around the lakes to get to Tiger Stadium. This will add 20 minutes to the time but it is still walkable.



Other Things to Note:

Please do not park on street in front of house.

Amazing stay!

Great location! Close to great restaurants and downtown baton rouge. Lovely and peaceful neighborhood. The house was even better than the pictures.

Great house and great location

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming vintage house with updated amenities. The bathrooms and kitchen are very spacious and the beds were comfortable. It’s located in a great area that was convenient to anything you could need or do in Baton Rouge.

Great house with comfortable amenities. So much better then staying in a small stuffy hotel room. Good location close to resturants and LSU Tiger stadium. Great place to stay at for a LSU game! Highly recommend it for a game.

Great home

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The home is in a great location and its very nice and clean inside and out. Its very spacious and modernized for and older home. I would definitely stay again.

Home away from home

Was there to bowl and was a great spot for our needs. Lots around our area, safe and clean. The kitchen and dining room was huge and a great spot for all of us to gather.

Fantastic Stay!

The home was in a great neighborhood, close to the campus and lakes. It was bigger than expected and probably the cleanest property we’ve ever encountered! We had all the necessities and more. The host was very accommodating throughout the whole process of our needs and requests- booking, check in, and check out! Overall, a great experience and we would definitely stay again.

Excellent

Wonderful home! The home is beautifully decorated, spacious, and clean. The owner has been intentional in providing as many comforts as possible. The kitchen is very well stocked with nice pans, plates, utensils, and tools. Beds are comfy and there are plenty of towels for each bathroom. The owner is quick to respond and resolve any issues. Highly recommend!

PLEASE BE AWARE BEFORE YOU BOOK THIS HOME: THE DESCRIPTION SHOULD HAVE DISCLOSED THIS::We booked this home to attend an LSU game and be able to walk to and from the stadium in 5-10 minutes as it advertises. We are also very familiar with the area as we are LSU alumni. However, having not been there since last year we did not know University Lake is under major renovations and the immediate area around this house is blocked off to through traffic and you must walk all the way around the lake and construction zone to get to LSU! The walk during the day to stadium we went through the dirt and around some barricades to get there in about 30 min but walk back late in the dark after the game we had to go all around the lake and side streets to get back to house, took at least 1 hr and was not a very safe walk with cars speeding by. The mgmt did respond when we told them of the issues after checking out and apologized and said they thought the “bridge being out” would be corrected by August 2026 but unfortunately wasn’t. However, they never acknowledged they should have disclosed this!!Also, the AC went out upstairs the 2nd night we were there. Those 4 guests had to sleep downstairs on couch and chairs. It was 1 am. Mgmt said we had their cell & email but calling at 1am did not seem to be viable option. Roaches also upstairs! The positives: 1. The home is spacious and well appointed/cozy. The kitchen has a large gathering table 2. The beds were comfortable 3. TVs good

We sincerely apologize that the stay did not meet your expectations. We understand your frustration regarding the University Lake construction and the inconvenience on the walking route to LSU. We are reviewing the listing to ensure this information is accurately reflected. We also apologize that the upstairs AC went out in the middle of the night.
