I din privata hem kommer du att njuta av god mat pÄ Lanai med utsikt över den privata poolen. PÄ morgonen ser ut taket dÀck för en fantastisk utsikt över solen gÄ upp. En 10 minuters promenad upp stranden tar dig till stan dÀr det finns mÄnga restauranger och shopping för att vÀcka nÄgons smak. Om du föredrar att vi har en privat drivrutin kan du ringa om du vill fÄ en Äktur till stad och han kan ta dig pÄ alla Àventyr du vill gillar ValskÄdning, bergsklÀttring, snorkling, you name it! Hans namn Àr Joseph och han har en 8 passagerar van med lÀdersÀten och luftkonditionering. Det var just köpt december 2011. Du kan laga din egen mat eller sÄ kan du ha nÄgon förbereda dem för dig för en liten avgift. Titta pÄ videon och det kommer att visa dig insidan och utsidan av huset tillsammans med din promenad frÄn huset till stranden. Det stora sovrummet med dubbelsÀng har en bifogad badrum. Ett rum har en vÄningssÀng med toppen en tvilling madrass i botten Àr en full madrass kan du dra ut en annan tvilling madrass nedanför full (köpt 2012/02/02) och den andra har en queen size sÀng och de delar en badrum som inte Àr ansluten till antingen rum.

Everything you want and more!

We were greeted by the very friendly manager and she explained everything we needed to know about the property. Told us fun things to do and places to go. This villa is perfectly located in Cabarete, only a 10 minute walk on the beach to all of the restaurants and shops. The little community the villa is in is very quiet and very safe. And it’s only a minute walk to the beach. The house itself is very spacious and comfortable. It’s brightly decorated and has everything we needed in the kitchen to cook our meals and store our food. If we ever needed anything the maid or the manager was right there with in minutes. The owner Ronda was extremely nice and communicated with us before our holiday so we were prepared for everything! We will definitely be back again and again! They also own the house next door called Villa Italia and it is AMAZING!!!!! It’s also listed in VRBO. you should check it out too.

Lovely house great location

The house was perfect for our family. There was everything we needed to cook, enjoy the pool and have a good night’s sleep. Even the puzzle and books came in handy. Perhaps the only thing missing is a large salad bowl or serving dish. We found Erika’s assistant and Mr. Moreno very friendly but did not appreciate our contact with Erika. She made no effort to make us feel welcome or provide us with information prior to our stay. Overall it was a good house for us.

Can’t wait to go back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Dawn! Perfect house, perfect location! Kitchen had everything we needed. Pool was so refreshing. Beach was just minutes walk through beautiful homes in gated Bahia de Arena. We didn’t even need shoes to go to dinner, walked the beach to fantastic restaurants. Walking to town was easy with cute shops and anything you could need. We felt very safe throughout our entire stay. Local’s were friendly and helpful. If you love adventure, take Iguana Mamas Mushroom Canyoning tour! Also made the trek to Punta Rusia’s Paradise Island and had amazing food at Corlaes Punta Rusia with Rene! Get a massage from Larissa. Never made it to Puerto Playta saving that for next visit! Can’t wait to go back! May try flying into Puerto Playta next time. Thank you Chuck and Ronda for perfect stay!

This property is the best

Palm trees and green landscaping surround the villa and its beautiful pool. The neighborhood is very secure with about 20 or so very unique looking houses/villas. Villa Dawn has plenty of room inside, high ceilings, and is nicely decorated. It even has an observation deck. The staff cleans the house every day as well as the grounds. They are also very friendly, but usually do the work while you're away. The property offers easy access to a very clean and interesting beach. In the morning, its a nice walk in all directions. In the afternoon, the winds come up which brings out the kite surfers. Its quite a sight to see hundreds of colorful kites in the air with surfers doing their tricks. Off the beach, it can be surprisingly calm and a good time to hit the pool. We had dinner more than once at the Beach Side Restaurant which is just a short walk. It has very good food at reasonable prices in a very nice setting. Other restaurants are a ways further down towards town. Most offer outdoor seating. We highly recommend Villa Dawn for an enjoyable vacation.

A wonderful experience in this beautiful property!

Our family had a wonderful experience in this beautiful property. It feels very Dominican yet has important modern amenities, such as very updated bathrooms, TVs and air conditioners. The pool is on a double lot so it felt spacious with lots of sun! Our family of four fit very comfortably, and the staff was fantastic! We felt very safe and were within a 10 minute walk from all restaraunts, shopping, ice cream, etc. The beach and ocean are beyond beautiful--lots of wind and waves so if you love that for great ocean swimming and kite boarding it is the perfect vacation spot!

Wonderful House and Staff

House is airy and bright. We loved the ocean breezes on the back balcony. Pool is fairly good sized. Beach is a two minute walk. Cabarete Coffee is a one minute walk in the morning -great coffee and food. The grounds and housekeeping stafff were excellent and friendly! Would definitely stay here again!

Home away from home!

Another great vacation stay at Villa Dawn, our second time. A very bright, beautiful and relaxing home. Staff is so friendly and accommodating, lovely tranquil veranda and pool area, minutes to the beach for great walking and swimming (waves!!) and tons of great food options. So great to meet our hosts Rhonda and Chuck this time and chat with them (looking forward to the new eavestroughs next year! lol) Thank you for your hospitality. Looking forward to another visit next year. A definite must try for those who are looking!

A piece of paradise

We recently stayed at Villa Dawn from mid February to early March for our winter getaway. Our second trip to Dominican in two years, we wanted to find a more centralized home closer to the beach and this home did not disappoint us. After staying here we will definitely go back again! The house was beautiful for many reasons; very open and inviting, comfortable and modern decor, cool during the day and at night without the need of A/C, great bedrooms particularly the master bedroom with king bed and ensuite bathroom with access to the back terrace and pool, well stocked kitchen amenities (just need a tea kettle! Needed my morning tea lol) as well as the bathroom amenities, amazing pool and property. The location was also great; only 20 minute drive from the airport, located minutes from the beach, close walk to many restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores and shopping. Security at the entrance to Bahia De Arena provides peace of mind as well as the guard tower at the beach entrance. The staff which included maid service, grounds keeper and Erika (general manager) were very friendly and always available if needed and did an excellent job. The only downfall to our stay was the on going construction of the house being built next door, which caused some noise throughout the day and impeded on our privacy somewhat. We were looking for sun , swimming, walking, good food and most of all relaxation and we got it all staying at Villa Dawn. Thank you to Rhonda for her hospitality and amazing gesture during our stay. She was quick to answer to any correspondences during our stay. We highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming back again next year!

Everything you could want

This was the perfect get away to meet the expectations and desires of everyone. If you just want to relax, read by the pool or on the beach it's perfect. There are also activities within walking distance if you are more adventurous. You can eat out at a variety of restaurants along the beach or cook at home. The community is beautiful with some very friendly and helpful permanent residents. They were very kind and helpful while we were there. The accommodations are very clean and comfortable. Couldn't ask for more and can't wait to return.

Very comfortable house in a great location

Many thanks to Villa Dawn for a wonderful vacation. We really enjoyed a comfortable stay in a very well appointed house. The pool was terrific, the AC in the bedrooms cooling when necessary (but the fans worked really well, too), and the staff extremely helpful. Beach access was easy, and the water was terrific. The pristine sand was a joy, and we even enjoyed lounging on the private grass area that abuts the complex and the beach. Ronda was an extremely responsive property owner, and she answered questions and never seemed to mind us "asking just one more thing."

Great house in an excellent location

Spent 9 days at Villa Dawn with our two kids (10 and 6) and their grandmother. The development Bahia de Arena is perfect for those looking to rent a house in Cabarete. Security is great, our kids ran around in the complex visiting their friends who were staying at another house. Walking to the beach takes 3 mins and once you are there a quick 2 min walk to the right gets you to a beach club where you can get chairs/umbrellas food/drink. The beach area is very spacious and not crowded. Also great waves for boogie boarding. Kite lessons available right there as well. Perfect set up. Villa Dawn had one of the largest yards of all the houses and a very nice pool where the kids played and we watched while siting on the patio. If you're looking for calmer waters sosua beach is 15 min drive which we also did a couple of times. Cabarete town is 5 min drive lots of bars restaurants. Overall great vacation and highly recommended!

We enjoyed the Villa Dawn

Our experience with the Villa Dawn was an awesome experience. Ronda was awesome with helping us make our trip a success. The Villa is in a very great location. We walked the beach every day and walked up to town via the beach. The Villa is very clean and very quite. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning listening to the birds and watching the beautiful sunrise. Thank you Ronda

Perfect!

This was our second stay at this beautiful home. The first time we took our children, who had an amazing vacation and were very upset that we went this year without them! We loved the house and location so much we asked our friends to come share the experience with us this year. The driver Joseph is great and greeted us at the airport. We stopped and picked up groceries on the way to the house. He is also available to take you on tours and such should you want during your trip. A car is not needed while staying here. The house is located in a small gated community, and the manager Mark was there to greet us and always accessible should you need anything. The house is beautifully maintained and updated with nice décor. Ana the maid and the landscaper -sorry, forgot his name- do an exceptional job. The grounds are well kept with lush greenery. The yard is enclosed with a charming stone wall for privacy. The patio is covered and overlooks the pool, with a table and the most comfortable rocking chairs. Truly enjoyed the outdoor living and the feel of the ocean breeze. Beautiful views of the beach and kite surfers could be seen from the upper decks. The pool is simply perfect, sparkling clean and just the right temperature to enjoy day and night. We enjoyed preparing meals at the home, including the grill and the blender to make delightful frozen cocktails. And a short, pleasant walk along the beach to town has many restaurants/bars where you can enjoy a delicious meal with your toes in the sand. The beach is less than a minute walk from the house and is clean, no seaweed, and soft sand perfect for a relaxing stroll. The waves are great to body surf or boogie board. Everything about our trip was perfect and I cannot wait until we can visit again. Thank you to the owners, Chuck and Ronda, for allowing us to share your beautiful home!

cabaret home close to the beach

I would diffently recommend this property to others
This place is so beautiful close to shops eatery and a short walk to the beach
 The owner of this property is so available to answer any question you may have through e-mail and phone.. they have a driver who well pick you up at the airport and bring you were you need to go. It is a gated community which provides security around the clock.The best place to eat is the coffee shop located right next door amazing food and coffee
I would recommend staying here you cannot go wrong with the friendly service

Dominican Vacation

This is an amazing property! Beach lovers paradise with great restaurants/bars just a quick walk up the beautiful beach. Perfect location for activities such as Kite Surfing, tennis, wind surfing,horse back riding on the beach, Shopping, and day drinking poolside! Other fun activities close by too: Golf (Playa Grande), Cascading ( climbing and jumping off waterfalls) whale watching, swimming with dolphins, and snorkeling. Don't sell yourself short at an all inclusive resort. This is a WAY better experience and feels like home! We would highly recommend this beach house!

We had a wonderful time with our friends. The house was clean and neat, everything we needed.Just beautiful on the inside and the outside. The pool and yard was well maintained. We would walk around the corner in the morning to a cute little coffee shop,the food was as good as the coffee was and so close. Also a close walk to the beach,as my husband and I enjoy doing in the morning, the views were breathtaking! We would recommend this property to anyone. The fact that we did not have a car was not a problem, we would walk to any shopping or any restaurant we wanted. Other times we wanted to go places we just called a taxi, everyone was so nice and helpful to us. We had a great time!!!

R&R at the DR

This is a perfect place to kick back, relax and enjoy the beach. It's an easy walk to beach-side restaurants and to downtown shops. There's no need for a car, which adds to the fun of staying along the water. The property is spacious, and the kitchen has all the comforts of home. The best part of staying here is sitting out on the back porch in the morning in the rockers drinking that first cup of coffee. What a way to watch the sun come up!

February Get Away

I had the pleasure of staying here a week in February of 2011. Everything was perfect. The house was very comfortable. The porch in front was so nice for our entire group to sit on and talk,read and just enjoy the weather, which was great. From the porch you can see the tennis court which my buddy and I played on everyday. After that a dip in the pool followed by a walk along a nice path (not far) to the beach which was outstanding for swimming and body surfing. Every evening we took a short walk up the beach to the fine and inexpensive restaurants found right on the beachfront. I can't think of any way it could have been better. I certainly recommend staying here and I definitely want to go back again. Bim

Paradise Found

This house is the nicest house in a gated community of stunning, beautifully landscaped, majestic homes. It has an amazing sun deck on top of the house which affords a 360 view of not only the ocean and beach, but also of a mountain chain that runs parellel to the north coast and beach. Watching the sunset from an additional deck that is situated above the sun deck is nothing short of breathtaking. There's really nothing like it within many miles. The house itself is spacious, with lots of cieling fans and open air rooms.There is always a nice sea breeze coming from the North East--this breeze is always flowing thru the house, giving it a fresh feel. The pool is refreshing in the late afternoon, and is surrounded by beautiful landscaped bushes and exotic flowers. Kite beach is literally a 1-minute walk from the house. The beach itself (Kite Beach) is one of the most famous beaches in the Caribbean--hosting two Kite Boarding World Championships a year. Grab a drink and walk down to the beach and watch up-and-coming and famous Kite Boarders do their tricks right in front of you for free! The sport is amazing to watch, and you'll witness people of all ages participating in Kite Boarding; you may even want to try it yourself after witnessing it! All in all, i have to give the house as well as the location a 5 out of 5 rating. Nothing compares to it, and it's nothing short of breathtaking!

My husband and I live in Erie, PA USA and have owned our home in the Dominican Republic for 18 years. We also own the property next to us called Villa Italia. It houses 12 people and is absolutely breathtaking! We also have a time share in Ambergris Cay, Belize. It's a 3 bedroom pent house overlooking the Barrier Reef. You can call if you are interested in that as well. Our favorite past time is to travel. We have 2 Westie female dogs that like to travel with us.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

My husband and I have looked all over for vacation homes and Cabarete, DR is the place to be! We loved it from day 1 because you can really experience the local feel of the country and it's not overly commercialized like most Islands. They have fantastic authentic seafood and there is one restaurant that is American owned with traditional American/Irish food. The house is located 1 mile from the town so it does not have all of the noise you would have in town but close enough to be there on a 10 minute walk up the beach. To get to the beach you will walk down 1 short private street and it takes a little over a minute. We also like the fact that there is management on site along with security and daily maid service. There is also a little cafe 50 feet from our home.

We have a large double lot. Our home has been completely updated in 2014. All new furniture, fixtures and management. 55 inch flat screen TV mounted on the wall with a CD and DVD player. FREE Wi-FI and TONS of lounging areas. If you have a baby or toddler, we have a great set up for you!
