We originally come from the pleasant village of Sint Oedenrode, in the south of the Netherlands! Clim worked in steel for many years and Mariet lovingly ran her own dance school.

In 2018 we decided to move to Italy and in the summer of 2019 we found our “dream house”: La Loccaia. At the beginning of 2020 we moved to Ciggiano where our Italian adventure began.

From then on, we are happy to receive guests in our B&B all year round, and pets are also very welcome! We ourselves have Abby the dog, and the cats Frans (our 23 year old senior), Noor, Luca & Lexy. There are also 3 “outside cats”: Bob & Marley and Tuga.

Ciggiano, and Monte San Savino, are typical tuscan towns. Nestled in the hills covered with olive trees and vineyards, we are very close to Arezzo. Within an hours drive there are many lovely towns and cities such as Cortona, Siena, Florence, Montepulciano, Asissi and many more.

La Loccaia is situated in a little oasis in the countryside. Surrounded by olive trees, the only thing you hear is the chirping of the crickets. Lounge by the pool, enjoy our Tuscan dinners or just hang out with a glass of wine in our shady garden....
