The newly renovated Summer Breeze features windows for days in the living room to take in the river views! Plenty of seating for everyone, reclining couch and swivel chairs. Relax on the 4-season porch or on the private patio. Both bedrooms include a pillow top queen bed and a space to hang clothing and store your belongings. A Serta convertible sofa is located in the living area and creates an additional sleeping space for 2, sleep or nap with a view! The full kitchen has everything you need to whip up a quick lunch or heat up your leftovers. Since we are a beautiful bluff side location with lake views expect some traffic and train sounds. The Mississippi River Valley hosts many adventures! Visit The National Eagle Center, Lark Toys, wineries, thrifting/boutique shopping, all kinds of eateries, enjoy amazing fishing and all kinds of water activities! Highlights are kayak tours and art fairs! We are located 6-10 minutes from Lake City or Wabasha.

A taste of Mighty River living.

Quaint, shady. Large windows with views of river bluffs and river. Our unit was at end of the row of tidy cottages so we had good privacy. Beautiful sunsets.Four 70 year old widow friends stepping away for a couple of days. Just what the doctor ordered.

Adorable Gem

The Summer Breeze cottage was a lovely place to stay, even in the depths of winter! The cottage was cozy, warm, clean, and well furnished. Stephanie & Tom were helpful and welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked with basic pans, utensils, dishes, etc. We didn't know about the train tracks in advance, but the sound was actually quite pleasant to us, and the hosts provide free ear plugs for guests who might be more sensitive to the sound. The view over the water was beautiful and bird watchers would enjoy the variety of birds that gather on the water, especially a couple of bald eagles who perched nearby everyday. We enjoyed the outdoor fire pit (the hosts provide plenty of wood) and neat places to visit nearby. (Lake City, Wabasha, & Red Wing).The only suggestion we have is that the steps from the bathroom to the far bedroom were pretty dark at night; there was a nightlight but it did not work, so probably just needs new batteries.Thanks again for a lovely stay and we hope to return soon!

The Love Train did not disappoint!

Tom was very helpful when we stayed there for our kids fishing tournament. He had great advice and provided a way to charge the boat when off the water. I would stay there again in the future!

Perfect river getaway

This place is the perfect tiny house river getaway! The hosts have thought of everything in this small home. The view is awesome and outdoor space is better than pictured. The hosts even left us a few infant toys that our son loved and some dog treats and bags for our dog. The train is quite loud. I didnā€™t find it bothersome but my husband did. The hosts provided ear plugs if you want or need!

Great stay! Our hosts, Tom and Stephanie, were accommodating and responsive. The location is convenient to both Wabasha and Lake City and has spectacular views of the river - and eagles! The house was clean and well stocked for our stay. Special thanks to our hosts for accommodating our cat.

Highly recommend!

A group of friends stayed at The Summer Breeze at Bending Cove Resorts and loved it! The owners were so great about communicating and accommodating our needs. The unit itself is clean, has 2 great bedrooms, a relaxing lake-view living room, and we really enjoyed sitting in the screened in back room overlooking the lake with string lights which was perfect for late-night card games! The interior design is super cute! Definitely a cozy getaway location. Would love to come stay at Summer Breeze again and would highly recommend.

Beautiful and relaxing

A wonderful experience for my husband, dog and myself. Friendly hosts, perfect accommodations, spectacular scenery. Nice fenced in area for the dog, comfortable patio seating while watching the boats and eagles. The home had everything you needed and more. Highly recommend.

Very unique rental.

We loved the house and its unique charm. Plenty of room with a spectacular view of Lake Pepin from the living room and the patio. A few times a day a train comes through that seems within reach from the patio. It wasnā€™t an annoyance, but rather a cool experience being practically above it as they passed. We found plenty of local trails to hike and strongly recommend Frontenac State Park. Our dogs loved the trails. Many choices to eat out as well.

We found Summer Breeze to be a little quirky - just like us! Clean and totally above our expectations, this was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the Mississippi River / Lake Pepin. We were able to take enjoyable day trips on both sides of the river. Our hosts were amazing -- 11 out of 10 stars!

Beautiful views!

The Summer Breeze was a very cute place, well decorated, and clean. The views from the living room, and patio, are just breathtaking. They are a very pet friendly place, with treats for the dogs when they arrive, and a large fenced in patio, fire pit area to allow your pets to feel on vacation too. The owners personally greeted us on arrival and checked in through out the stay to make sure we had everything we need. Great time was had by all!
