Wonderful Imperial Point retreat at Lauderdale by the Sea. A spacious 2 bedroom and 2 full bath private home in a quiet neighborhood with your own private oasis in the backyard. Enjoy the beautiful Florida weather with BBQ by the pool or lounging in a chair under the veranda. The living room has a queen size sectional sofa sleeper and a roll away bed is also available for additional guests. Updated modern open concept kitchen with waterfall island, large living area great for entertaining your family and friends. If you enjoy privacy and quiet enjoyment, you will love our home! Privacy in a very quiet neighborhood.Enjoy all that Fort Lauderdale has to offer. Only 7 minutes to downtown Lauderdale by the Sea, 15 minutes to Downtown Las Olas and Las Olas Beach where you can find a ton of fine dining options, shopping and nightlife opportunities.

The home is very nice. The kitchen fully stocked with pots and pans. Would add measuring cups and measuring spoons. Would like to see the pool refinished, however due to the weather we were unable to use. The location is great with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Also nearby grocery stores. The host is very attentive and responds in a timely manner.

Nice house in a lovely neighborhood.

We loved the neighborhood and the house. Peaceful and quiet. The house was clean and modern. The pool and backyard is great. Claudia - the owner was very kind and responsive. We would definitely consider staying here again.

March 2024 Review

The piping under the kitchen sink disconnected from the garbage disposal and leaked water from cleaning the dishes onto the cabinet and kitchen floor. The drain line was clogged, and we couldn't use the kitchen sink or dishwasher for over 24 hours. We used the garden hose and soap to clean our dishes outside. We called Claudia and left voice messages in the morning, but she didn't respond until mid-afternoon. We were disappointed in the slow response. Additionally, the amenities stated that the property had a grill, but it did not.

Nice Place To Stay But Could Be Better

It took me a little time to gather my thoughts, but here it goes. This place has a lot of potential and some great features, but there are also areas that need improvement. First, the location is fantastic—close to the beach and surrounded by many great seafood restaurants. The neighborhood itself is peaceful. The host was responsive to our issues, though some responses took longer than others. However, the main problem we faced was with the pool. It wasn’t cleaned before our arrival; we stayed from Saturday to the following Saturday, so a full week. The pool maintenance was scheduled for Tuesday and Friday, but they only showed up the day before we left. As a result, despite paying over $1800.00, we didn’t have a clean pool until the last day. Additionally, the master bedroom has a full-size bed, not a queen or king as expected. The mattress sags in the middle, making it very uncomfortable, and the bed frame is so worn out that it’s bent and unsafe. My wife and I had to sleep on the couch for three of the seven nights. Another issue is the air conditioning. It can’t be set below 72 degrees, which is problematic in hot Florida weather where temperatures can reach 100 degrees. If you have asthma or can’t tolerate heat well, this might not be the place for you. We mentioned this to the host, but nothing changed.

Beautiful house, in a beautiful, quiet-but-close-to-everything neighborhood! The house is a great place to spend your stay, fully-equipped, comfortable, and with a wonderful backyard with a pool. Close to the beautiful Lauderdale beaches, shops, malls etc. Excellent place to stay; I would definitely stay again.

Why they chose this property

Love that it's only about a 40 minute drive to Miami. But only a 5 minute drive to downtown Lauderdale by The Sea. A 15 minute drive to Las Olas. The neighborhood is quite and residential, but just off Hwy 1 (Federal Hwy) so you can venture almost anywhere. Tons of fine culinary options, cool bars and clubs. This is America's Venice, yacths galore! Lots of water sport activities. Road trip to Florida Keys is one of my faves. And may I add the fact that we are so very close to many of Caribbean Islands like Bahamas many islands.

What makes this property unique

Very quite neighborhood, large lot with private pool in the big lush back yard. The home has been remodeled to offer a remodeled kitchen with an island perfect for entertaining.
