We have been trying different places every year in Florida but this is our new place every year now ! Loved it , served right on your beach chair ! Such nice people and great food and service , no need to ever leave the resort !! And the room… stunning view to wake up to every morning ! 5 stars !
Our stay here was wonderful, except for the elevators not working many times during our stay. I believe they are scheduled to get them replaced soon. The view from our room was incredible. All the staff at the resort were pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Stayed in August 2025. Beautiful view of the beach and pool. The room is big and very nice. We would definitely stay here again. Great restaurant at the hotel next door.
Clean Room and quiet room. View was spectacular and beach service was wonderful. The room did not look exactly like the picture on VRBO but was still nice and had two seperate rooms, living room and two queen beds, which was even better.
The room was clean and it had a beautiful view of the ocean as well as a balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did the happy hour and lunch at the hotel and the drinks and food was delicious. The pool is really nice and somehow refreshing even though we went in August. We had a great stay!
Room was amazing, resort is beautiful!! Very clean rooms, and resort! Pool and lazy river spotless. Extremely friendly workers. Would definitely go back!
This was an amazing vacation for our family! Our room was great — very clean, great views and comfortable. The pool and lazy river was great for our 2.5 year old. I loved how close the walk to the beach/ocean was - very convenient! The food was great at the resort — we ate most meals here and it was fabulous! The employees were very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!

We were extremely disappointed w the accommodations. From everything to only 3 K-Pods for 3 days (2 guests), filthy windows (childrens' "Slime/Goop" smears, colorings), filthy bathroom floor (the underneath of our shower mat was black after just one shower), extremely small room with tiny, tiny balcony ( pictures of the unit ENTIRELY misleading), inadequate towel supply for 3 days(with hotel fee of 18/towel if extras were needed) to numerous other inadequacies. We were very happy to check out while quite upset with our experience.
The room was updated and just as advertised. The only thing I would suggest is a blanker or comforter for the pull out day bed. I did not ask the front desk if they had one, so that might have been an option I did not explore. The king bed was comfortable and the bathroom was updated and big. I would definitely book this property/room again.
My Fiance and I have stayed at the Pelican grand many times already but in different units. This unit was beautiful and has great views. For me personally the bed was great but my Fiance had a hard time sleeping as he said that one side was worn out. The shower wasn’t working properly but they did handle it.
During our stay we experienced multiple water-related issues that impacted this review. 1) There was significant water leakage through the balcony door during a storm. We used all the towels we had (about 6) to barricade the door but they were soaked through within minutes. 2) The bathroom floor had constant puddling perhaps due to a slow draining shower. 3) We also found water accumulating on the floor by the daybed, maybe due to a leaking window but the source wasn't clear. The listing didn't make it clear that we should contact the hotel staff directly for maintenance issues. After messaging the host, we did get a response the next morning communicating that the hotel maintenance crew would be working on a fix. That process was frustrating. We weren't given a service window and we made an effort to stay out of the room to allow access but repairs took until around 5pm. Given the weather, being displaced from the room for most of the day was especially inconvenient. Overall, the experience felt more complicated than expected due to the multiple communication steps required (host, hotel staff, maintenance crew). If we had booked directly with the hotel, we likely would have been offered a room change given how long the repairs took. Because of this, we wouldn't choose to book this again. The room did have great views and the resort amenities were as described.
What a fabulous resort! Everything that you need is right there. From getting coffee in the gift shop, to the fantastic beach hands setting up your lounge chair and umbrella on the beach, cocktails in the bar or by the pool, quick gym workout and delicious dinner in the restaurant or veranda overlooking the beach. All the staff is so warm and welcoming and happy to help. Our room allowed a magnificent view and we could just sit up in bed and watch the sunrise. Exceeded our expectations and cannot wait to return.

Terrible vrbo listing
Pelican grand was okay if booking directly through the resort. However, the VRBO listings for rooms are from employees resort abusing their privileges. Room wouldn’t get cleaned, two managers said they’d provide VIP cleaning; never happened. Room was not updated, stained sheets, appears to be blood on floor and curtains. Resort was okay, but they nickel and dime you for everything ; including extra towels. Any food or drinks at resort incurs a 22% gratituty

Communication
Communication with the property manager was frustrating and not timely. Took several weeks to answer our questions. Check in was unclear.

Dirty floor
The floors were dirty. With sand and sticky. When I asked for more towels because I had to use them as rugs. Then they charged me for it!
