Simply Perfect

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at this fabulous house over New Year's with two adults and four teenagers, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. In fact since the house was so luxurious and comfortable (with a kitchen that has everything a chef could want or need), we almost never left except for the occasional romp in the snow by the river that was just outside our front door (or a soak in the hot tub). To top it off, the owners were so wonderful and accommodating. We will be returning for sure!

Best cabin rental yet!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this cabin for a Christmas family reunion in 2013. The owners were very responsive and exceptionally pleasant to work with. Our entire family agrees this cabin has ruined us for any other rental!

The cabin is but a few miles from Squaw Valley Olympic Village which made it great for those skiing and snowboarding. It is conveniently located between Truckee and North Tahoe City so one has easy access to shopping. The gourmet kitchen made meals a breeze. Literally any utensil we needed to bake or cook was there for our use which was huge as we are a family that loves to spend time in the kitchen.

The atmosphere is elegant yet we felt so at home. Each bedroom was inviting and comfy. The family room enabled us all to spend time around the fire watching our favorite movies or playing games.

This is the perfect place to go if you want the feeling of seclusion and privacy without actually having to sacrifice having anything you need at your fingertips within minutes.

Our family is looking forward to spending time again in this cabin in the summer so we can check out all seasons!

Amazing!!

  • 5 of 5

In July 2013 not only did we stay in this exquisite home for 5 days, we also hosted our wedding of 180 people here.

This home was built with lots of TLC that is reflected in every beautiful detail. This is not a typical rental home and I'm actually surprised they rent it out. Everything about this home is stunning. The great room was perfect for the entertaining we did leading up to the wedding and we comfortably slept 10 people here. The house is located on highway 89 but it is a tranquil and private location that feels miles from civilization, even though it's conveniently located close to Squaw Valley and Truckee. When you sit outside enjoying the beautiful surroundings all you hear is the rushing of the river, not the trucks on the highway.

We looked high and low for a romantic and private wedding venue and were so pleased we decided on this location. The homeowners were more than a pleasure to work with. They went above and beyond to be sure we had a wonderful stay and a beautiful wedding. Many people with this type of property would be a little nuts with all we had going on there, but they welcomed it and helped assure everything went well. We had the wedding of our dreams, under the stars and received compliment after compliment from our guests about the beautiful and unique location.

I'll never forget getting ready on my wedding day..... champagne in hand, sitting on the deck upstairs with nothing but trees and the river to look at. We couldn't help but relax and just enjoy the special time. The master was a perfect honeymoon suite equipped with a whirlpool tub, carwash type of shower, big mirrors, a very comfortable bed, deck with a hot tub and beautiful Tahoe views. The kitchen is huge with top of the line appliances, which made cooking for large groups very easy. There are 6 bathrooms which made getting ready a breeze for the 10 of us who stayed there.

I only have positive things to say about this house. My husband, family and I all loved staying in this amazing home. We can't wait to rent this home again and reminisce about our magical day.

Great family house!

  • 5 of 5

We shared this house over ski week with another family and everyone was super happy.

The house is well designed and beautiful. The kitchen is amazing with all the kitchenware you can dream of.

The leaving and dining room are very spacious. There is a great sound system for music lovers.

Beds are great and comfortable. And we were very welcome by the owners. We felt comfortable right away.
