Amazing place
Each one at the Lodge was very sweet and welcoming! The view is magnificent. Each room and dining room is beautifully decorated and well tsken care of. We were so grateful to be able to stay in a place that is "truly pet friendly"! Fell in love with Jumper the mascot.

Beautiful Weekend-Great Service
We stayed at the lodge for a weekend for our friends’ 20th anniversary celebration. What a magical place to celebrate-the service was amazing, the lodge and the views were beautiful and it was so nice having everyone be able to stay on the property. We will be back!

We had a great time!
We just came for a quick weekend getaway and it was lovely to have the restaurant at our fingertips! We are there 4 times and we enjoyed all of the food! My only complaint is the bed was so small but we are just used to a king size bed! I think I just chose a room with a smaller bed by accident :)

WHAT?
The bed was too small and the refrigerator was out-of-order. We shall return because we want to stay in the room we originally selected.

Our stay
Too noisy on the first floor. People shutting the fire doors loudly in the morning these should be opened early in the morning to avoid this. We have stayed before on the second floor and it was quiet. Just an FYI

FANTASTIC TIME GREAT SERVICE!!!!!
I only have a tiny bit of constructive criticism.
While my wife and I were enjoying our breakfast we were subject to listening to work related phone calls about who was and was not going to make it in and something else about a car being picked up or not.
While the person serving us was in the small 1/2 walled in service/cashier station, everyone having breakfast got to hear the days drama.
And while it certainly did not ruin my breakfast I could have done without being privy to such work related calls.
P.S the biscuit gravy could have been a higher quality but wasn't bad.
WOULD HIGHLY RECCOMEND

GREAT LODGE AND STAFF
Our second stay. First was for wedding guests and reception. This time for just a week-end R&R.
It was a great stay and the service staff in the restaurant's was exceptional.
GREAT LODGE AND STAFF
Only suggestion is on the railing going down to the restaurant. There's a point where the handrail meets the trim from the wall that I and other guests in our party have caught their fingers there when holding the rail and not noticing it. You should be able to carve out the trim a bit at that point in the wall trim with a sawzall, and a light sanding to prevent that from happening, without any major work. Those who use the railing learn quickly to watch their fingers at that point but it should be a relatively easy thing to fix.
Otherwise everything was great!!
Beautiful view and that's the only good thing I have to say
First of all, let me just say that despite the view being beautiful, the host has cunningly angled their photos to hide that the room, and indeed all rooms on this side of the lodge, directly overlook a large parking lot, a double level outdoor dining patio, and that the balcony is one shared by every patron staying on your floor, meaning there will be unpredictable foot traffic (and possibly eye traffic) outside your bedroom window with just slatted wood blinds to hurriedly undress behind.
Our romantic evening at the lodge's 4.5 star restaurant, Bearrr Appetit, included such highlights as:
- being asked "how many would you like?" by our waiter after asking to start with "a couple glasses of wine".
- explaining to our waiter what a vinaigrette was (and then receiving something after about 45 minutes that had both the appearance and consistency of barbecue sauce).
- my partner experiencing the intense digestive malaise that accompanies ingesting questionable substances pretending to be vinaigrette when they are clearly something else entirely.
- ordering a steak, only to receive what was clearly the hastily cut out sole from the chefs boot (however, it was steamed to perfection, if that's how you like your steaks).
To show I'm not without a balanced perspective, I will say the mattress was surprisingly comfortable and somehow I slept restfully despite used pitchforks and hoes being the chosen decor looming overhead. Other decor included an assortment of artfully distressed
