We welcome you to enjoy our townhome on Camelback Mountain just across the road from the Camelback Resort. This home is nestled at the base of Camelback Mountain and is just a couple of minutes to the 33 lighted slopes on Camelback Ski Resort.
This home, being a year round rental is available to take advantage of all the Poconos has to offer. Being along side Camelbeach waterpark offers quick access to the many waterslides, pools and even a wave pool for your family to enjoy. If you're the outdoor type, just a couple of minutes away is Camelback Adventure park featuring the longest zip lines in the country. The top of Camelback Mountain you can enjoy hiking, mountain biking or just the fantastic views at Big Pocono State Park which include eastern Pennsylvania and parts of New York and New Jersey
If relaxing is on the agenda, you can enjoy the warmth of a fire in the cozy living room. Central Airconditioning will make you feel comfortable while watching your favorite cable shows or taking advantage of the free Wifi.
Whatever is on the agenda for the family vacation the Poconos has it and our home is right in the middle of it all.

We had a very pleasant stay. It was a beautiful, quiet neighborhood where I could take our dog for a morning walk each day. I loved the screened-in porch with the hot tub.

First Voyage to the Poconos

Overall fantastic from start to finish. Great response timing from the owner to answer all questions. Check in was as simple as my own home. House was fully stocked. Everyone loved the hot tub.

Great stay

Great stay - very easy in and out and the place was clean and well stocked for our long weekend. Loved the area and it was so convenient for the water park! Top of the mountain had a park with great views (and picnic areas) and the pool was a great place to hang out in the summer heat. Overall great experience.

Staying close to Camelback for skiing

My family and I stayed within minutes from Camelback Ski Resort in Tannersville - close enough to see the lights on the trails at night. The house was perfect for my son & daughter-in-law, 2 grandchildren and myself. After skiing each day, we enjoyed the hot tub! Played Uno and then watched a movie. The instructions were very clear for entering the house and what needed to be done before departing. Thank you to the owner and to VRBO! We are looking forward to next year - hopefully this house will be available again!

Relaxing vacation in a beautiful home!

The host was communicative prior to, and during the stay. We had no issues and we were actually very impressed. A cabin feel, in a modern home. The hot tub was the best part! The home was clean, and a nice location. We will definitely be back!

Clean, comfortable and the perfect location!

This place was perfect for our family of four. We were right in the middle of lots of great activities and the house was very comfortable and clean. The ONLY suggestion I would have for the owner is to stock the kitchen a bit better. There was no mixing bowls, no measuring cups, no measuring spoons and no child friendly cups. Other than that, It was great!

The property was delightful, super clean, and the host was VERY responsive! The community pool is one of the best perks . A beautiful, clean, uncrowned pool. Just up the mountain from the Waterpark, easy to find. Will plan to come back next year!

Great Stay~

Great Stay for Christmas with our family! Thankful for the fireplace in the freezing temperatures. House was very clean! Only thing missing was hand soap at the kitchen sink and dry measuring cups and spoons for baking. All very minor! Great house - quick response from owner for questions -would highly recommend!

I wrote all of our concerns to the property owner and to date have not received a response. The location is great for shopping and exploring. The property needs some TLC. As stated to the property owner. The mattresses and other items need updating.

Perfect house and host!

Emilio has been the perfect host! We have stayed at a lot of cabins all over and he is by far the best! The home is just as pictured but so much better in person. You will be right in the center of all kinds attractions, whether you have children or a romantic getaway, you will not be bored. We are very outdoorsy people and explored trails, Bushkill falls and went fishing all over. Emilio was great with suggestions as well. Relaxing in the hot tub was the perfect touch at the end of each day. I have zero complaints. If you want a relaxing stress free stay, then book this property asap!

Great location, comfortable accommodations, attentive owner

The house was very clean and just the right size for our family of five and our two dogs. The dogs loved laying by the full length windows on both sides of the front door so they could see out. Nice open kitchen, family room, and dining area. Spacious bedrooms and closet space. Great screened in back deck with hottub that we used every day. The community pool was also very nice, and we were happy to find that it was heated because the temp was in the low 70s for most of our stay. There is a new front deck on the house where my husband enjoyed napping in his hammock. New kitchen appliances. Reliable wifi that accommodated all of our cellphones and laptops. We hit the waterpark, the casino, the golf couse, the tennis courts, the pool, the movie theater, the bowling alley, and did some local shopping, so there is plenty to do around the area. From the house and in the neighborhood, we saw lots of deer, chipmunks, squirrels, lizards, and even a big black bear! The owner, Emilio, was pleasant, easy to deal with, and answered all my questions very promptly. A few minor suggestions would be to add some new pots and pans, plastic storage containers for leftovers, and chip clips.

Excellent stay

Four of us, ( 2 adult couples) stayed at the house for 4 days in June 2023. The house was comfortable and perfect sized for us, and the neighborhood was quiet (this was off season, I can’t speak for ski or water park season). The downstairs furniture , while worn, was quite comfortable. The appliances and hot tub were all in working order ( the hot tub jets were a little weak, but all working, and it held its temperature well). Emilio was the perfect host, responding to any questions or issues immediately and in a friendly way. The reason I give it a 4, rather than 5, star review is due to the fact that the front deck was being worked on, and the deck and picnic table were unusable during the week we were there, as well as the fact that we had to use the garage for entry/exit during our stay. Some other minor issues are the house could use some updated cookware, especially a new frying pan, new fluffy pillows, and the jets in the hot tub need to be looked at. Also the master bedroom mattress was too soft for my liking. FYI the morning sun floods the master bedroom with light, if that bothers you a sleep mask is recommended. All that being said, I would stay here again.

The homeowner, Mr. Emilio Valles, is wonderful to deal with and hugely accomodating.

My family (2 adults, 2 kids and dog) were staying at a different location in the Poconos when we were suddenly forced to leave because of an issue with the home. We were in a bind and did not want to lose our family vacation for the week as we had only been there one night. We checked the VRBO site for anything that was available last minute. That was when we came across Mr. Valles's property. Fortunately, Mr. Valles's home was only twenty-five minutes from our previous location. Mr. Valles contacted me when I was still on the phone with the VRBO representative booking the property. I explained my family's situation to Mr. Valles and he was very empathetic and accommodating. He arranged for a cleaning crew to come to the home early so my family and I would not be "homeless" for a night. Mr. Valles responded immediately by phone or text to any questions we had about the property. The home itself sits in a very nice community and is only a stone's throw to all the amenities the Camelback Resort has to provide. The home is very clean and had more than enough room to accommodate our family. The hot tub is located on a covered back deck we were able to enjoy even though we had a ton of rain during the week. The beds were comfortable and the kids really enjoyed the "bunk bed bedroom." I would definitely recommend Mr. Valles's home to family and friends if they wanted a mountain setting in the Poconos.

Our home on Camelback Mountain is adjacent to the slopes and Camelbeach waterpark while being minutes away from Big Pocono State Park, The Crossings Outlets and Mt. Airy Resort. Most of all it’s the friendly family atmosphere that is offered at Camelback and in general the Poconos that we thoroughly enjoy. Our home offers a warm and friendly atmosphere that you will very easily and quickly come to relax in. We invite your family to stay and enjoy what our home has to offer.

Camelback is the largest ski resort located in the heart of in the Poconos with 33 trails and 13 lifts. Camelback has grown steadily over the years to become the centerpiece of Poconos skiing - Half Pipe, Snow Tubing, Night Skiing and a Children's Program are just some of the amenities and activities offered. The Camelbeach Waterpark is a fantastic Summer attraction for the family. For the outdoor types, CBK Adventure Park with their zip lines is only a couple of minutes away. Nearby parks and great local restaurants add to a great family experience.
