Everything was great, except for a couple of electrical issues. The breaker kept tripping on the lower level water heater. Two of the outlets in the kitchen didn’t work and the door on the main level to the back porch was super hard to open. Overall, the house was amazing; a beautiful view, spacious rooms, perfect pool for littles, and short walk to beach. Would love to go back!

Thank you for sharing such positive feedback about the house, view, pool, and location, and for saying you’d love to return. We’re sorry to hear about the breaker tripping on the lower level water heater and will look into that. We also regret the inconvenience with the two kitchen outlets and will have those checked. In addition, we’re sorry the main level back porch door was hard to open and will review that as well. Your comments are very helpful, and we appreciate you taking the time to let us know.

It was a beautiful home and perfect for our group of 11 cousins. The beach was beautiful and easy to access. The rooms were spacious and clean. The one complaint we had was the counter depth refrigerator/ freezer combo. That small a refrigerator was too small for our group let alone a larger one. There also was a full size freezer that should have been a full size refrigerator. Having an ice maker was helpful although the freezer was also an ice maker also.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re delighted that the home was a great fit for your group and that you enjoyed the spacious layout, cleanliness, and easy beach access. We truly appreciate your feedback regarding the kitchen setup, particularly the refrigerator and freezer space. We understand how important adequate storage is when accommodating larger groups, and we recognize how the current configuration may have been limiting. Your feedback is invaluable as this helps to enhance the overall guest experience and we hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back again in the future. Your Southern Team

Big Family Vacation

23 of us enjoyed our stay! There was plenty of room and the beach access was perfect. The littles enjoyed the pool too! The only downsides were a few weak spots in the kitchen floor, the washer/dryers were not working the best, and pool maintenance plus fire alarm inspection that was scheduled during out stay. Otherwise, we all had a great time!

Family Spring Break Vacation

From the time we walked in the door, it was Amazing. We only encountered one problem while there and the property owners handled the situation efficiently and accordingly. My family had an awesome time, home is located right on the beach which was very satisfying and convenient. Also the home is in the vicinity of almost all the stores and attractions. If I could give this home 10 stars I would. Would definitely stay again.

This property is amazing! Much bigger than it looks in the photos and the photos still look pretty big! Definitely exceeded our expectations, so much room for a group, lots of beds, lots of common spaces, and it’s right on the beach! We are local, and have stayed at all sorts of locations for our family staycations and we will be booking this one from now on! Only critique is that the bottom floor sliding door lock seems to be broken, we had to have a very strong person hold it closed while someone else locked it, or else it wouldn’t latch, which is definitely not safe with littles in the house and a pool outside, hopefully the owner will fix this soon as it is a hazard for small children, but other than that the place is magnificent!

The pool was good for the kids but not big enough for us adults. We had no internet the entire week. This made it ruff due to some that still needed to work while on vacation. We had a light bulb in the ceiling go out in restroom mid week and I called 2x and no one came to replace it. We had to be very careful walking down to the beach due to nails sticking up. A ramp going down to the beach would be nice due to the older ones that have knee and back problems. I wouldn’t be able to rent this condo again due to the steps going down to the beach.

Some minor issues

None of the bathrooms have shelf’s for soap and shampoo. Holes in kitchen subfloor covered by flooring needs to be repaired properly. Deck needs to be screwed down, boards are curled up, trip hazard and accident waiting to happen. Dryers took forever to dry things, probably blocked vent. Otherwise there is enough room for all of us.

While there were some nice features of the home, they were all overshadowed by a long list of amenities that were broken or not working. The main issue was that we had no hot water or toilet paper in all the bathrooms upon arrival. It took 21 hours to get hot water and we had to be available to give the vendor access to the house which disrupted our day. We paid an additional fee to have the pool heated, but it never worked. They did refund our money, but unfortunately the pool could not be heated as advertised. It was a very mediocre home for the price. We will not return or recommend the home.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We sincerely apologize that your stay fell short of expectations, as this is not the standard we strive to maintain here at Southern. Upon review, we do see that you did reach out to our 24/7 Guest Services Team regarding a water heater issue with both the pool and bathroom, in which a vendor was dispatched immediately with a resolution. In addition to these inconveniences, we see that a full refund was issued for the additional fee charged for the pool heater, as we understand this impacted your experience negatively. However, we did not receive any report regarding the missing toilet paper to our 24/7 Guest Services Team, as our local Operations Team would have been more than happy to address this oversight promptly to ensure your stay gets back on track. Your feedback is invaluable in elevating guest experience, and we truly hope you provide us with the opportunity to regain your trust and for a more seamless stay. -Your Southern Team

Needs repair

The first thing we noticed when we arrived, was that the floors were not clean. You couldn’t walk around barefoot inside without your feet getting dirty underneath the display on the stove and oven was not working, so you really didn’t know if you actually turn the oven off after using it, which was very concerning. The dryer on the first floor did not work at all, so we all had to use the dryer on the second floor, which was also not working very great and did not heat up as it should have been. They only provide you with one garbage bag, and one kitchen towel so be prepared to go out and buy basic things that should be provided by the management company. There was also just one roll of paper towels and one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom so basically you need to go out and buy a lot supplies if you stay there. The house itself was decorated beautifully and was located right on the beach, which was very nice and convenient! Because of the inconveniences and how dirty the floors were, and the appliances not working, we probably won’t go back unfortunately.

I feel it needs some TLC. Don’t get me wrong just some tho gs that need attention. The water leak in downstairs bedroom ceiling stained and needs repaired. The bar stools need replaced with something that can be cleaned. Was not impressed with my bed sheets having blood stains. The wood deck needs attention it has screws raised and the wood sticks up definitely stubbing and trip hazard. I feel like the glass on downstairs deck is just a bit tall had to see when sitting in a chair when your shorte, also the glass gets dirty quickly we washed it off but still wasn’t helpful. Convert to a bar stools with a 2x6 or something to set with a drink.I really enjoyed the stay view was absolutely beautiful and plenty of room for our family!

Of course the best part of this place is the beautiful beach, quiet, great location. What was disappointing was a few things that needed to be repaired. The washer on the first floor didn't work, but the dryer did. The dryer on the 2nd floor didn't work, but the washer did(?!) I had read prior reviews that stated this. The drawer in the kitchen wouldn't open...the drawer where on the flatware was kept...another frustrating situation. The carpet in the 2nd fl bedroom was so disgusting, no one walked on it with their bare feet. No hot pads to pull out pans from the oven, one dish towel; just overall poorly prepared for a house to host 23 people. I called for repairs on the W&D, they said they would show up on Sunday, but never did; no calls or update. Yes the layout is nice, but we felt some areas were neglected. That being said, this worked out for us, but disappointing to pend this money and we still had to get necessary items; like beach towels (we flew in). This is more of a drive destination where you have the room to pack necessary items. I attached the photos, but unable to attach the nasty carpet.
