Full home comforts in a relaxed and spacious ski home set in the Rocky Mountains, just one hour drive from both Bozeman and West Yellowstone, Montana

This is one of two prime located Saddle Ridge units, just one door apart from each other (rent both if you are a large group or come with another family) collectively known as Casa Moonlight, Big Sky, Montana, Ski Resort

Casa Moonlight Two is on Saddle Ridge at 8,000 feet above sea level between two of the most spectacular ski resorts in the West: Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin.

No other alpine ski area in the U.S. offers what the interconnected slopes of Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin do - extraordinary SKI - IN, SKI - OUT opportunities, among the highest vertical drops for groomed skiing in the U.S. (including hike-to terrain), world-class recreation year-round, and superb amenities and services.

Ski right out the back door and onto the Pony Express Run or direct to the Iron Horse Lift and you have access to over 5,250 lift-served acres of world-class alpine skiing.

Located on the warm southern facing elevated ridge that lies between the Moonlight and the Big Sky ski area, with panoramic views on all sides, Casa Moonlight is directly above the Iron Horse and Pony Express lifts which access both the Moonlight and the Big Ski base area and the mountains beyond. You can ski back to Casa Moonlight from both Big Sky and Moonlight basin ski areas.

Skiing and boarding are the main winter activities. There is ample lift serviced terrain in the 2 resorts, but if you feel the need to venture further, various back country options are available.

Summer activities in Big Sky fall into two main categories. Those organised by the resort, including Lone Peak Expeditions, Adventure Zip-line Tours, Climbing Walls etc and those to be found in the greater South West Montana area including Fishing and Rafting on the Gallatin, Hiking, Mountain Biking, Golf and of course all that Yellowstone Park ( nearest boundary - half an hour away) and West Yellowstone (just over an hour away) have to offer.

Casa Moonlight is approximately 1,800 square feet, has 2 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, and sleeps up to 7 adults. This Montana ski-in ski-out vacation condo is a luxury accommodation in every respect:

There are slate floors in the entry, bathrooms and kitchen. The vacation rental custom furniture is made out of Ponderosa Pine. This Montana condo is filled with unique western art, but the unforgettable views from all the rooms, make this vacation home a place to remember.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, flatware and utensils.

Casa Moonlight is located 45 miles from Bozeman Airport (BZN).

My wife (Thai) and I (British) are semi retired and now divide our time between homes in Phuket, Thailand (our previous home/business base) and now, chasing the snow, in Big Sky Montana and Farellones, Chile.

Why William Casa Moonlight chose Moonlight Basin

Quite simply Big Sky is the best, largest and least crowded lift serviced skiing in north America. We had been visiting (and renting - mainly in Saddle Ridge) for extended stays for 5 years - and then in late 2009 found prices had become affordable, so purchased our first home in Big Sky. Then in 2011 with a little spare cash to invest decided Big Sky was still a great location for another property investment.

What makes this townhome unique

The space and the peace and quiet. Yet all this with true ski in ski-out access to both Big Sky and Moonlight - and just one minutes walk from the best restaurant (Timbers) and ski-club house (Moonlight Lodge) in the Big Sky area.

Great Location! Perfect fit for our family of 5!

The location to Moonlight Lodge was excellent. The walk couldn't be any shorter for lift tickets. The condo was perfect. Being able to cook meals at the condo really took the stress off the vacation. It was an easy meeting point for lunch. The condo was clean. The kitchen had everything we could have imagined. The management company was extremely helpful with any questions we had. The owner was available, but we had no need to talk with him. If we come back to Big Sky, we will certainly try to stay in this property again.

Great place to stay.

Great place to stay, with a great view!!! Ski in and ski out was a great feature, Our family had a blast, we will be back. You might want someone to look at hot tub the jets didn't work and was kinda cold. The gas fireplace didn't have much of flame,might need to be cleaned.

For clarity for anyone reading this review. The unit has central heating throughout. The faux log gas fire is there for ambiance rather than heat. Also we have a hot tub service company (based in Big Sky) on 24 hour call, so if any issues turns up on the hot tub, you only need to let our manager know and someone will be round immediately.

Perfect location! Fantastic condo! Helpful property owner!

The condo was just about 20 steps away from snow which took you directly to lifts operating on regular schedules with access anywhere. If you preferred to ski directly from condo you could open first floor patio door and ski from there. Condo was comfortable, roomy and clean. Wifi was fast. The owner William was so very helpful and communicative from our first communication through our arrival! Thank you!

Awesome Week With the Family

Casa Moonlight was great. Definitely a ski in/ski out property with all of the amenities! We truly enjoyed our visit and will return as soon as we can.

We had a small maintenance issue that was handled within a few hours.

You cannot ask for more than Casa Moonlight! It was one of the best properties we have ever used. Most we find are good, Casa Moonlight was GREAT!

Owner's Response: Thanks for the review. To clarify for those who may not know, there is an Albertsons very close to the airport on the road to Big Sky a good stop en route good value shopping. Roxys is the new supermarket in the Big Sky Meadow village so close for day to day needs. Roxys has a great selection and prices while more than in town, are still reasonable for a resort.

Seemless vacation rental

Beautiful view of the mountain. Convenient short walk to Moonlight Tavern. It couldn't be more convenient to skiing. Truly ski in and ski out. Casa Moonlight has everything we want. We stayed for two weeks January, 2017. We certainly would stay here again. Any help we would have needed was obviously readily available. Bravo, William! And thank you!
