Le logement de Porte 22 est situé au premier étage de notre maison de trois étages. Le premier étage est réservé exclusivement aux vacanciers. Poutres en bois, pierres apparentes, toutes à quelques pas du marché hebdomadaire de la ville.

Une fois que vous aurez pénétré et exploré votre espace de vie, nous vous accueillerons en personne et partagerons autant de connaissances sur Pézenas et ses environs que vous le souhaitez.

Porte 22 is a very comfortable home for exploring the Pezenas region. The location can't be beat and the parking was so convenient. A fabulous apartment in a perfect location!

Porte 22 was the perfect place to spend a week in Pezenas! Our host Louise has thought of everything to make a stay so very memorable - from the welcome basket that includes local treats and tourist information, to the lovely interiors that combine the charm of historic France with modern conveniences of today, such as a chef's kitchen, TV/wifi, and secure parking. And the location is perfect! We can't wait to return!!

Home away from Home

The apartment provided every conceivable item to make ours a most enjoyable stay. Our host was just wonderful providing excellent pre arrival information. Her assistant also helped with our checkin and departure. All in all a superb property, so clean, well located and with the very best facilities.

We couldn’t fault the accommodation. It was very hard to drag ourselves away from the roof terrace. Such a wonderful space. Very central but also quiet and peaceful. Overall superb!

Pezenas near perfection

The best equipped and both intelligently and tastefully modernised property we have ever stayed at. A credit to the owner. Excellent location. The elderly should be aware there is a 30 step spiral staircase to the roof terrace - but it is marvellous when you are there!

If we could give our stay in Pezenas 10 stars we would. Louise, for creating and sharing the most wonderful space in a fabulous location as well as a secure carpark (& air conditioning!). And, Patty for constantly going the extra mile to ensure everything about our stay worked perfectly, all the tips & suggestions, the kindness, warmth and wonderful humor. Wonderful time immersed in the French culture

Very clean and owner had every thing you need. Comfortable, many stairs to reach flat, be sure you’re mobile. Kitchen great for cooking! We did very little as we enjoyed the many restaurants of French cuisine. Boulangerie close by to purchase croissants every morning. Enjoyed beaches close to Pezanas and many historic sites in the neighborhood.

Thank you both for making the long travel from the "New World" to the "Old World" . We are pleased you enjoyed your stay, including up to the top floor roof terrace for your daily evening refreshments. As mentioned in the listing, the flat is situated on the first floor (meaning one floor above the ground level) and there are 10 steps to reach it from the front door. As you noticed, there is both a solid handrail on the left and a fisherman's rope to the right. Plus, as we did for your departure, we are always ready to bring our guests' luggage up and down the stairs and onward to the parking lot. Thank you for keeping the roof terrace plants nicely hydrated!

Great stay in a phantastic townhouse

I was impressed by the house and the way it was remodeled. I was feeling very cozy from the very finest moment, a my friend came in only a little later. The house is located in the very center of Pezenas, in the midst of everything. Thank you!

Perfect stay in an excellent location.

The apartment has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Extremely well equiped kitchen, nice beds with top linens. It's located 1 minute walk from the market square and the historic part. Carrefour is only 5 minutes walk in the other direction. Louise, the owner has put a lot of attention to details in the appartment. I also loved all the travel infos that she has gathered, like a tourist information:-). Would definitely stay there again when in Pezenas.

Our stay at Porte 22 was easy and delightful from day 1. Having been to Pézena annually, we knew of the rich beauty, gastronomy, wine, and culture of the area. Our first stay at Porte 22 only added to our experience this time. It is well-appointed, comfortable, historic, and a great kitchen and terrace. Delightful Experience

Louise is a splendid host and her sidekick, Patty, is a treasure. We three old friends from Canada had everything we needed at Porte 22 for a delightful week in peaceful Pézenas. We enjoyed the modern kitchen with its topnotch equipment as well as the terrific rooftop terrace. The fusion of the old and the new is beautiful. We felt very cared for as Louise and Patty were attentive and helpful during our stay. Formidable!

Stunning property

We absolutely loved our 7 day stay at Porte 22. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children (13 and 14) and had a wonderful and comfortable stay at this immaculately restored period property. Porte 22 is so well located right in the centre of Pezenas but quiet and tranquil too. The roof terrace was perfect and the apartment felt really spacious. There was a heatwave in Pezenas when we stayed but the aircon worked very well. WiFi was super fast but the real gem of this place was the finishing touches Louise has brought to everything from the Nespresso machine to the bikes and the beach gear. Thank you Louise for everything and to Patty who was available if we needed anything at all. We would love to return one day.

Wonderful stay in Pezenas

We had a great time during our 6 days in Pezenas and Porte 22. We arrived on a (November) Sunday when not much was open and it was pretty quiet but by the weekend more things were available. The neighborhood is great for walking around the town. Our communication with Louise was excellent from the start of the booking process and Patty was very helpful meeting us at the property and making sure we were comfortable. The apartment is very charming (just like the pictures), the bed was very comfortable and kitchen well equipped. The stairs might be a challenge for someone physically challenged or older, especially getting up to the roof. Having a place to park nearby was a plus and we enjoyed exploring some close by towns. There is a lot to see and do nearby. I would definitely recommend a stay at Porte 22 and Pezenas.

Don't miss out on this gem of a home!

This home has been by far the best rental we have ever done and we have stayed in many over the past 12 years. Everything was first-class and well thought out. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was to die for, and the outdoor deck was so lovely to come home to each evening and share a glass of wine. There is a garage for your car, you are within walking distance of everything in lovely Pezenas, the home was immaculate and owner and Patti were so helpful. They even greeted us with a bottle of wine and local goodies such as soap and candies, What more can I say? Book it now. You will not be sorry. Thank you Louise and Patti for the wonderful memories at Porte 22.

Living history!

Calling Porte 22 a 'stay' is almost an insult - it is an 'experience'! The house felt like a living being. Exquisitely restored, top of the range facilities, but never losing sight of it's history. A young heart in an old soul. Mysteries of the ages abound. Porte 22 is but a stone's throw from the higgledy-piggledy of the old centre with it's artisans, restaurants and architecture. Overlooking a wide pedestrian street. And access into and out of Pezenas is a breeze with the car park only 200 metres away. Our communication with the owner Louise and her local, fiercely protective, guardian, Patty, was exceptional - both professional and warm. One week was hardly enough...

A piece of heaven in Pezenas

From the moment we were met and shown around by Patty (who is an absolute star) to the moment we, reluctantly, left 4 weeks later everything was sheer perfection. This wonderful apartment has been beautifully and sympathetically restored to a very high standard and is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. A wonderful kitchen where we prepared meals from brilliant local produce. The most comfortable bed ever and a great shower room. The jewel in the crown was the fabulous roof terrace complete with kitchen - it was very hard to venture away from it. A sun trap during the day and a perfect spot for a glass or two of chilled rose in the evening. All of our communications with Louise went like clockwork and she was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thank you for letting us 'play house' for a few weeks in your beautiful home. We can't wait to come back.

Fabulous property in heart of old town

Porte 22 is a exceptional property. Built in the 1600s, it has been sympathetically renovated throughout and has been furnished with considerable style far above what you would expect from a holiday rental. Simply everything had been thought of there. If you need something, simply search in the cupboards! The roof terrace was a bonus and added another dimension to our stay. The amazing display of swifts swooping over the rooftops and our heads in the evenings was very special. The stone staircases may not be for someone with reduced mobilty especially if you plan on using the roof terrace. The garage is a bonus and just a few minutes walk away. The bike store was very useful too. All communication was easy, friendly and helpful. Lastly, the location was perfect being in an attractive and quiet street yet minutes from shops, restaurants etc. Pezanas is a lovely town we shall visit again, for sure. Thank you to Louise and Patty for a wonderful stay.

The best stay ever!

Truly this is an exceptional property. Not only is it stylish but it really is a home from home. Louise has thought of everything , really everything. Beach towels and a picnic basket in the cupboard for a day by the sea, shopping baskets at the ready for breakfast croissants or a morning in the market, a superb kitchen equipped to cover every possible need - thoughtful things that made it feel like home. It is the most comfortable and well equipped holiday apartment we have ever stayed in and it is so beautifully kept and clean. The roof terrace is the icing on the cake - we loved it - leisurely breakfasts in the morning sun, drinks and nibbles in the evening and a candlelight dinner, memorable times and all so easy with its own little kitchen. Pezenas is a delightful town with so much history and Porte 22 is right in the middle of it all. Lots of great restaurants and things to see all within a few minutes walk. I cannot recommend this lovely apartment highly enough. Our thanks to Patty who gave us a lovely warm welcome and of course huge thanks to you Louise for letting us stay in beautiful Porte 22.

stylish & lovely house = best place in Pezenas

Porte 22 is one of the most beautiful places/houses in Pezenas, located perfect in the centre, and Louise is the best host and organizer ever. Everything in this lovely house is perfect & well renovated, cozy, luxury, stylish and the house offers everything you may need for a stay in the region. The house, the kitchen, the roof-terrace is perfectly-equipped on a high-level and very clean. There's nothing you're going to miss. We (3 girl-friends) stayed one week and enjoyed the house and also the terrace very very much. Patty has welcomed us and informed us in detail about everything in the house and in the region. She was always reachable and supported us with everything we needed. Louise has delivered all info before we started to Pezenas. Her replying-time was incredible and she took care on everything and made our stay perfect! We can highly recommend this extra-ordinary-beautiful-stylish house, made with sooo many love, and Louise as perfect host! Thank you very very much Louise!! Bedriye

Perfect stay in Pezenas

The property is in an excellent position for both discovering the delights of Pezenas but also exploring the countryside and the beautiful beaches close by. The property has great charm with stone spiral staircases , beams and roof terrace which we made good use of. The quality of the apartment and all its appliances are of the highest standard and the roof terrace kitchen is equally equipped to the same standard. On arrival we met with Patty who is extremely helpful and talked us through all we needed to know about the apartment, and surrounds. There is also a comprehensive apartment guide and also some recommended places to visit and dine. We had a very pleasant meal at the L' Atelier and the Maitre d' put on a great show in describing the menu , thoroughly recommended. Not sure this can be arranged for everyone but we did ask Louise to arrange good weather for our trip and we were not disappointed , thank you. Finally, our time at Porte 22 was excellent and my wife and I would highly recommend a stay, the sad bit was leaving. Patty , thank you for the welcome and Louise thank you for letting us experience Porte 22 .

Perfect!

My experience at Porte 22 was perfect from the start. Louise is an amazing host and Patty, her apartment manager, couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Both made feel me so welcome.Louise provides a fabulous basket of goodies, tourist guides and two very useful maps of the area. There are plenty of books and magazines to flick through, even a couple of books that mention Porte 22 within their pages.The apartment is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and has so many wonderful little touches that make it such a special home away from home. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and some things you didn’t realise you needed. The beds, linen and towels are all top quality and a pleasure to use. The location in Pezanas is perfect for all town centre events, shopping, cafe hopping and eating out. The Historic Centre is a dream to browse around, it's a place of inspiration for anyone who appreciates arts and crafts. The people of Pezanas are extremely friendly and welcoming. I have no hesitation in recommending Porte 22. I will hopefully return sometime soon and recommend to my friends in future. Porte 22 is a very special apartment for anyone wanting a bit of luxury, a great location and a truly French holiday experience.

A classy Pied-a-Terre

We are returning for our third? Fourth? visit to Porte 22. We love the proximity to the center of town and the many wonderful features of the property - especially the roof deck! There is really nothing better than having dinner up there, with the swifts circling overhead. Pezenas is lovely and lively, and road biking in the neighborhood of Pezenas is outstanding. We discovered a new swimming hole nearby which made cooling off even easier than before. And the wineries ! Not to be missed: Mas Gabriel in Caux. Back to Porte 22 - Louise thinks of everything - for example - there is a set of extra plates and glasses on the roof deck so that you don't have to run up and down the stairs carrying them. There's a picnic basket! and several umbrellas for beach trips! Everything has a place, and the kitchen equipment is top notch. I have so much more to say about this wonderful Vrbo, but so little time (back at work already!) but we thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our two weeks in the home and will be back as soon as we can for another visit.

Dear Annie & co - Well, what can we say about our most frequent visitors? It's time to start making you a punch card: 6th visit for free! And still you take the time to write a lovely review, sharing what you enjoy most and what brings you back. I think you need to share the location of the swimming hole discovery; it was highs of 41 today!! A Perfect Perch in Pezenas (Languedoc)

I'm hesitating - should I let everyone in on this secret? The amazing rooftop deck is a wonderful place to end a langourous summer day with a glass of wine and the chimney swifts careening overhead. Add the gourmet kitchen, the fabulous location (steps from the Friday night wine tasting and Saturday Market in Pezenas), the maps and brochures for lovely outings in the Languedoc . . . Ok, I will let you in on this perfect perch, as long as you promise to enjoy it as much as we did! After a long flight from the States, it was truly heaven to arrive at Porte 22. Louise has created a beautiful, calm, and comfortable space for her guests. Within an hour of arrival, we had parked our valises and were enjoying our first sip of wine (rosé of course) on the terrace at the top of the house (complete with wine glasses and fridge to keep your rosé cool), soaking up the Languedoc sun. We felt so lucky to share Louise's slice of paradise in Pézenas! Louise has simply thought of everything that you could ever need while staying at her place. Beach towels? Check. Picnic basket? Check. Bikes for riding the back roads through the rows of grapes in the nearby countryside? Check! We're huge fans and we'll be back.. . again and again!
