Friendly Pezenas

We had a wonderful stay in Pezenas. The apartment, very central, was terrific with a well equipped kitchen and a beautiful roof terrace. The people in Pezenas was friendly and we made contact with both french people living in the city and swedes that lives there part time. We can warmly recommend a journey to Pezenas and stay at Porte 22!

Mycket trevligt och vackert inredd lÀgenhet i ett Àkta franskt stenhus mitt i den lilla staden. VÀlstÀdad, vÀlskött och toppenservice! Fint och vÀlutrustat kök. De enda nackdelarna var att sovrummet med 2 enkelsÀngar var ett genomgÄngsrum som ledde till badrum och wc och till det större sovrummet. Trapporna - upp till lÀgenheten och vidare upptill takterrassen - Àr vÀldigt branta och har höga trappsteg, nÄgot som kan vara besvÀrligt för vissa. Jag skulle rekommendera denna lÀgenhet.

Porte 22 is a very comfortable home for exploring the Pezenas region. The location can't be beat and the parking was so convenient. If we could give our stay in Pezenas 10 stars we would. Louise, for creating and sharing the most wonderful space in a fabulous location as well as a secure carpark (& air conditioning!). And, Patty for constantly going the extra mile to ensure everything about our stay worked perfectly, all the tips & suggestions, the kindness, warmth and wonderful humor. Pezenas kept giving to us with its markets, parades and wine and music. We will never forget our stay and know you will not regret booking this tasteful, comfortable and convenient apartment. Perfect!

My experience at Porte 22 was perfect from the start. Louise is an amazing host and Patty, her apartment manager, couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Both made feel me so welcome.Louise provides a fabulous basket of goodies, tourist guides and two very useful maps of the area. There are plenty of books and magazines to flick through, even a couple of books that mention Porte 22 within their pages.The apartment is beautifully decorated, very comfortable and has so many wonderful little touches that make it such a special home away from home. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and some things you didn’t realise you needed. The beds, linen and towels are all top quality and a pleasure to use. The location in Pezanas is perfect for all town centre events, shopping, cafe hopping and eating out. The Historic Centre is a dream to browse around, it's a place of inspiration for anyone who appreciates arts and crafts. The people of Pezanas are extremely friendly and welcoming. I have no hesitation in recommending Porte 22. I will hopefully return sometime soon and recommend to my friends in future. Porte 22 is a very special apartment for anyone wanting a bit of luxury, a great location and a truly French holiday experience.

Une belle expérience

Our stay at Porte 22 was easy and delightful from day 1. Having been to PĂ©zena annually, we knew of the rich beauty, gastronomy, wine, and culture of the area. Our first stay at Porte 22 only added to our experience this time. It is well-appointed, comfortable, historic, and a great kitchen and terrace. We also appreciated the parking garage, located 5 minutes away. To our host, Louise, and her assistant/manager Patty--many, many thanks/merci beaucoup!

Stunning property

We absolutely loved our 7 day stay at Porte 22. We were a family of 2 adults and 2 children (13 and 14) and had a wonderful and comfortable stay at this immaculately restored period property. Porte 22 is so well located right in the centre of Pezenas but quiet and tranquil too. The roof terrace was perfect and the apartment felt really spacious. There was a heatwave in Pezenas when we stayed but the aircon worked very well. WiFi was super fast but the real gem of this place was the finishing touches Louise has brought to everything from the Nespresso machine to the bikes and the beach gear. Thank you Louise for everything and to Patty who was available if we needed anything at all. We would love to return one day.

Great stay in a phantastic townhouse

I was impressed by the house and the way it was remodeled. I was feeling very cozy from the very finest moment, a my friend came in only a little later. The house is located in the very center of Pezenas, in the midst of everything. Thank you!

Wunderbare Unterkunft

Wir hatten wunderschöne Tage in PĂ©zenas. Der Ort hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Aber etwas ganz besonderes war die Wohnung. Sie hat unsere Erwartungen deutlich ĂŒbertroffen, obwohl sie im Internet sehr attraktiv beschrieben ist. Sehr schön war auch der warme Empfang und die umfangreiche Kommunikation vor unserer Ankunft. Wir sind begeistert und kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wonderful time immersed in the French culture

Very clean and owner had every thing you need. Comfortable, many stairs to reach flat, be sure you’re mobile. Kitchen great for cooking! We did very little as we enjoyed the many restaurants of French cuisine. Boulangerie close by to purchase croissants every morning. Enjoyed beaches close to Pezanas and many historic sites in the neighborhood.

Eine wundervoll eingerichtete Wohnung erwartete uns mittig im wundervollen PĂ©zenas. Alles was das Herz begehrt gibt es in dieser sensationell eingerichteten Wohnung, es fehlte an nichts

Living history!

Calling Porte 22 a 'stay' is almost an insult - it is an 'experience'! The house felt like a living being. Exquisitely restored, top of the range facilities, but never losing sight of it's history. A young heart in an old soul. Mysteries of the ages abound. Porte 22 is but a stone's throw from the higgledy-piggledy of the old centre with it's artisans, restaurants and architecture. Overlooking a wide pedestrian street. And access into and out of Pezenas is a breeze with the car park only 200 metres away. Our communication with the owner Louise and her local, fiercely protective, guardian, Patty, was exceptional - both professional and warm. One week was hardly enough...

Home away from Home

The apartment provided every conceivable item to make ours a most enjoyable stay. Our host was just wonderful providing excellent pre arrival information. Her assistant also helped with our checkin and departure. All in all a superb property, so clean, well located and with the very best facilities.

Delightful Experience

Louise is a splendid host and her sidekick, Patty, is a treasure. We three old friends from Canada had everything we needed at Porte 22 for a delightful week in peaceful PĂ©zenas. We enjoyed the modern kitchen with its topnotch equipment as well as the terrific rooftop terrace. The fusion of the old and the new is beautiful. We felt very cared for as Louise and Patty were attentive and helpful during our stay. Formidable!

Pezenas near perfection

The best equipped and both intelligently and tastefully modernised property we have ever stayed at. A credit to the owner. Excellent location. The elderly should be aware there is a 30 step spiral staircase to the roof terrace - but it is marvellous when you are there!
