This home is in a quiet neighborhood, a short drive from downtown Salado. Perfect for a weekend get-a-way to spend time shopping, dining, playing golf and walking by the creek. Drink your morning coffee on the front porch, watch the birds and deer. The evenings provide a large view of the night sky and stars. Service dogs are welcome, however there is a 2 pet limit.

Our stay here went perfect! The house is very clean, beds were comfy, lots of space and seating. The kitchen was nice and roomy.Thank you for allowing us to stay here for our Niece’s High School Graduation from Salado. I highly recommend and will book again whenever we are in Salado to visit family.

This property is perfect for friends traveling as we were or a small family with multiple rooms needed. It’s pet friendly(we did not bring pets), it’s wonderfully comfortable and in a great and safe area. Beds are super comfortable and the host is more than responsive. She was so fast with any questions. We traveled with a boat and there were plug ins outside for the boat and plenty of room to park in the driveway. If we ever come back to Salado, we will def be staying here again.

This was a VERY charming home. It was definitely a home away from home. My family and I had a comfortable stay. My infant grandson slept all night as if he were home. Will stay again and recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood!

Statues for the weekend for the Salado Scottish Festival. The home was nice and quaint and just a few minutes from downtown Salado. Really enjoyed my stay!

Came to town for an annual girls’ trip. The house was amazing and beds were sooooo comfortable. Sat on the porch one evening and saw FIREFLIES!! It was so special because we hadn’t seen any in years! Would definitely recommend staying here! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Nice, quiet neighborhood

The large front porch was great for us to sit out and enjoy the quiet mornings and evenings. We saw a couple of deer.Beds were comfortable. It was only a short drive into town.

The kitchen was well stocked and roomy enough for multiple people to cook and hang out. The neighborhood was quiet. We saw dear, and my dog had a great time enjoying the front porch. We made use of the first-aid kit provided. There were matches for the outdoor chimeneya but nothing to strike them with, though we did find a lighter in a kitchen drawer.

Perfect for us

Property was cozy and home-like, including a well equipped kitchen and interesting books and games. We were in the area for thanksgiving with more family and cooked a few dushes...kitchen had everything, even measuring cups and spoons!!! 5 adults and one dog were quite comfortable and plenty of space to not feel crowded. Host was responsive and helpful! Thank you!

I am a retired teacher of 31 years. Happily married with 3 grown children. I live anything outdoors and water related! I was born in the 60’s and experienced the best decade the 80’s. I graduated from UMHB and was a Kilgore Rangerette.

Why they chose this property

The neighborhood is older with a small community. The houses are spaced out often with 1-3 empty lots. This provides a lot of privacy. There are plenty of deer and birds that wander the property. Because there are no streetlights, the evening sky is free of light pollution and if clear you can see every constellation!

What makes this property unique

The house has a large porch to enjoy morning coffee. It is close enough to town yet away from the crowds on the weekends. There is plenty of area to park a trailer with ATV’s or a boat
